Guys, Anybody suggest me where could i get the front glass for my poco f1 which got shattered but touch sensitivity is perfect. Suggest me any online store as i currently couldnt get in amazon or flipkart. Visited mi service centre and they r ready replace at 50% of the mobile cost. I asked to replace only screen but not agreed. Finding the screen at around Rs1000 but unable to trust which site to go. Pls suggest me.
i brough my screens from aliexpress.. its like a chinese ebay.. lot of sellers.. but they have a very good return policy..
Those are generic which you are seeing online. Same are available offline for the same amount. Mi doesn't sell display glass so there's no genuine thing available as such. I changed my locally in Rs. 1100. Don't buy online as the repairer won't give you guaranty of the job. Generic is as good as original. I didn't find any difference.

There is a factor of brightness. I did the same and now I am stuck with a less bright display.... SO do compare the brightness with an original out-of-the-box display device right after you get it replaced, in front of the person, whoever you buy it from.

Website myfixparts.com has what you need they says it's OEM version for us$3.50 but true repairer won't guarantee if he doesn't use his own parts but also be careful of the non OEM parts see my post on Xiaomi mi mix 2s screen repair.
You can ask the repair person to buy that particular part as replacement and then carry out the repair.

You need to check the reputation of the seller before you buy from E-Bay.
And even than you are not sure about the quality of the battery.
The best is to buy the original battery recommended by HTC.
Actually, the best thing to do is, whenever you even remotely consider buying something from ebay, have a friend whack you in the head with a brick. There's a reason why the prices on ebay are so low...it's cause 99% of the products are either advertised as something they are not, or the seller is a straight up scammer and won't send you anything at all. Feedback is useless; there are networks of scammers out there who generate feedback for each other that appears to be legitimate.
If I sound a bit disgruntled, I'm sorry, but so far over the past 3 months I've lost over 500$ on ebay and STILL waiting for paypal dispute resolution to take care of it.

......................although; one can always have a great experience, bar the 2 cars I have bought! (Cars were under £200!)
Ebay is good but you have to do alot of research, just received the Seinheiser CX500 headphones.......fantastic and the world is far away due to the quality.........
Will
That's cool...I know I have had SOME good transactions on ebay, but I just hate the fact that when things go wrong they seem to tell you that they will help fix it when they dont...they need to regulate things more, because there are so many scammers on ebay...i would bet my life that there are at least 100 people gettimg scammed right this second
BTW Seinheiser is great..I've tried those and I liked them
For wired headphones though i use Ultimate Ears in ear monitors...theyre amazing but they cost ALOT
I'm trying to some some studio quality bluetooth headphones at the moment with no avail
Ebay
I get just about all of my phone accessories on ebay. Most of the stuff while cheap does what they say. True feedback does not mean much but I have bought all my extra batteris there and saved a lot of money. $ 12 for a battery there compaired to $40-50 eleswhere. I think it is worth a try.
I second surgex0. When stuff goes wrong ebay/paypal doesn't care.
And batteries - I got some 'new' batteries once that were original branded but lasted 20% my store bought batteries did. I'd stay away.
Anyone know where to find a good privacy screen protector online for a good price?
ebay......
I concur ebay, or dealextreme
Why not visit your local T-Mobile store and ask for the "Smoky Screen Protector" its 10$, dont know about tax.
or last resort buy one for a iphone and cut to size.
these guuys sell all types at good prices http://www.dcmugen.com/
U can get 1 at tmo store for 10 bucks thou its not worth I had it for 2 hours and took it off went bought clear one. Problem is that u can only c either in portrait or lanscape mode depending how u cut it. Do not but it save urself few bucks and just tell ppl to fuk off when they picking on ur screen.
Ok, here is what just happened to my Galaxy s2 today...
And I talked to few stores, but they all told me that they cannot replace only glass, it has to be replaced with display so it would cost me 170 euros, so, is that my destiny or they just want to take as much money they can?
Oh, boy... That gem is bleeding...
I'm from the Philippines and I don't know how much 170 euros cost. But try to weigh the cost, sir. If you think that it's almost the price of a new unit, you're better off buying a new one. But if you think that it's a good deal, then good deal it is.
If you are handy you can try to buy the parts on ebay and replace it yourself, should cost you around half that. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1253969
Fail that, look around, even for dealer replacement that is pretty high.

I just bought a used phone from a for sale site tonight just so I can steel the glass/lcd/digitizer. It really is an easy process to swap the whole unit out, it really only takes about 20 minutes.
Hey,
I recently broke the screen(well, the glass, but apparentally I hae to change the whole screen in order to have an uncracked glass) of my S2. I've been looking for a replacement for a few days. I found quite a few on eBay, but I'm only wondering if they're fake or not.
This one says it is not fake
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Brand-New...K_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item48555c7d27
This one's a bit cheaper but doesn't say it's not fake
http://www.ebay.com/itm/LCD-Digitiz...e_Replacement_Parts_Tools&hash=item3f1864208d
So how do I know if I'm buying a genuine or a fake screen? What's the difference between fake and real? Has anyone got any links for cheap genuine screens?
Thanks.

Me and my father know eBay very well.A tip is to look at the seller's rating(positive feedback and how many stars),and then look how many times was the product sold.If these are good, with rating over 99%,that means the product and the seller's other products are good, and not fake. You can buy any of them.
Yeah okay, the seller seems legit. Thanks.
Both them sellers had several negative feedback.Youd need to look deeper into what item it was for and what others say about that item.

Wrong thread.
Ok...so a few weeks ago, I was looking at replacing the screen on my wifes S2 (same problem...cracked glass, but good screen) did an eBay search and probably came up with the same search results as you......like you, I wanted to be certain that I was buying the genuine article. So I took some screenshots of the listing and emailed Samsung with them and asked about the legitimacy of the listing........
Samsung replied that they DON'T supply ANY ebay sellers and that they weren't prepared to verify that the screen was genuine........
Edit....the seller in your first link is the seller I contacted Samsung about......

Hey Folks, I damaged my Mate 20 pro recently, the front screen (glass only) is cracked and so is the rear cover. Im not sure how much it will cost to fix it including labour but I thought I would try and source the parts first. I don't trust the small phone shops as they might fit an unofficial screen glass So where can I buy genuine parts in the UK, The Huawei site is too expensive to it needs to be from a recommended stockiest. Many thanks
Hi, you are going to have to replace both glass and oled display. They are fused together and not individually swappable.
AliExpress do service packs:
#Aliexpress £76.22 38%OFF | Original 6.39'' Display with frame fingerprint Replacement for Huawei Mate 20 Pro LCD Touch Screen LYA-L29 Digitizer Assembly

Whilst i cannot promise its genuine, they say they are an official seller so if it comes and its a load of crap, you could get aliexpress to refund. They don't get paid until you confirm delivery.
The 'estimated' delivery is usually crap, I get things in 2-3 weeks max usually.
Obviously the discount has a 'risk'.

Ok many thanks for your reply. I will give it some thought. It may make more sense to buy a good used device and sell mines for spares or repair. Something i need to think about, thanks again my friend
