Banana Pi M2 Zero - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
I have a Banana Pi M2 Zero and I tried to install Android on that device. The official Android images for that device are very old. Android 4.4. So i'm asking, is it possible to create a newer Android Image (Android Version 7+) for the Banana Pi M2 Zero? I think it has to be build to an ARM V7A architecture. Which tools i need for that?

Just Ask

I want to ask that why the remix os doesnt support the tablet or smartphone because i think it can bring the android to the pc and ultratablet so why cant it bring itself to the android smartphone or tablet?
If you mean "why can't remix be made fpr arm devices?"
Then it has as RemixOS started as a arm ROM, and there are version for there own hardware (although some are stuck on 1.0); their partners and some nexus devices.
As arm is different to x86 chips remix would need to be built specifically for each arm device; whereas 1 ROM (kernel&modules) can work on many x86 chips/devices.

Install or boot Remix OS on an Android 5.1 TV Box?

Hi,
Is it possible to install or boot Remix OS on an "Android TV Box" like this one? (here is the link: amazon.de/dp/B01BTJ7EZY/ - looks like new users can't post links, sorry)
Specs - Android TV Box:

Rockchip 3368 Octa-Core 64bit ARM Coretex A53 CPU
2G RAM + 16G eMMC Flash
Support for Gigabit Network & OTA
UHD 2K x 4K support
Bluetooth 4,0, H.265, HDMI 2,0

Me as well
Not yet. Because to do that a custom rom would be required for that exact device. Same way that a Huawei P8 ROM won't work on a Samsung Galaxy S7.

Another reason why not yet.
The RemixOS installer is not for arm devices.
You'd have to port RemixOS to your device (at least there is RemixOS for arm, and yes, I am aware that the arm version preceded the PC (x86, x86-x64) version).
By the way, you had posted this in the RemixOS for PC subforum, so it's the wrong place, try one of the other RemixOS subforums, although you'd need kernel sources, a device tree, and a custom recovery for your device before you can even think about porting RemixOS.
I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, I was just being blunt.

Phoenix OS on Minix X8

Hi all,
Been toying around with putting a full blown multitasking Android OS on my X8 which runs on an Amlogic S802 SOC.
I found Phoenix OS (http://www.phoenixos.com/) which supports some ARM devices as well as X86 devices.
My question is whether it will work on the X8 as it states on the Phoenix website that the only ARM devices currently supporting are the Nexus 7, 9 and 10.
Any help would be appreciated in terms of attempting to get this running without bricking the device.
TIA.
Ryan

Remix OS or Android x86 Support for Intel Braswell ???

Looking for an Intel Braswell based Remix OS or Android x86 ISO ?
There numerous articles starting back in 2014, about Intel releasing a Braswell base Android build, but hell if I can find it.

Hello Guys, I want to change my Android with newer version, because my Android box works on Android 4.4. I want to install newer version of Android like 6.0.1 or newer, but I can't find newer version on Android.

It's because Amlogic never released the updated SDK for that chipset. That's why it's nearly impossible to do it, unless you know porting and can scrape off things from similar chipsets.
