I received the march security patch yesterday. The tab seems to be faster or is it placebo? Also the phone and message app appeared. Quite strange app to have for a non sim tab.

Constant "Unfortunately Fingerprint has Stopped" after 6.0 update

Hi, as of last week I recieved the 6.0 marshmallow update (finally) on my Verizon Galaxy S6; unfortuantely, I am getting constant "Fingerprint Has Stopped Working" errors, they stop whatever you are doing and will often happen back to back. Previously I had no issue with fingerprint, only the camera kept saying I needed to replace the test device, now that is fixed and my fingerprint is broke. It seems to be a firmware issue causing these problems, but is there a chance it's hardware? I'm unable to root currently, so that's out of the question unless there is a way to bypass the new warranty crap they put in for 6.0.
Tl;dr constant error since 6.0, previous errors went away. Is there anything I can do outside of rooting.

Samsung J7 Prime Security Policy

Hi. Im using samsung j7 prime. Im very confused why every time i woke up in the morning when i use my figerprint it says i have to use pin because of security policy. I read all over the internet and says its because of the 3rd party locking app or launcer. But i dont have any lf those! I also check for apps that might locking my phone, but nothing. Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) LTE lt03lte LinaeageOS 14.1 Whatsapp problem

Hi There,
I have bought a used Galaxy Note 10.1 (2014) LTE for my mother and flashed lineageOS 14.1 nightly march 2018 on it. So far, it had no or only only minor issues (maybe a not responding app here and there or crashing trebuchet launcher very few times). The main purpose should be whatsapp. I was not expecting any problems, but it turned out that when we want to start a audio call, whatsapp freezes after 3 or 4 seconds or so. The counterpart just hears "toot-toot-toot..." and whatsapp freezes (not completely, but it begins to respond veeeery slow and one can not hear anything anymore). I found out, that it freezes only when I turn "handsfree" mode on, this means, when I turn on the speaker with the speaker icon in whatsapp. This is mandatory, because there is no other way to hear your counterpart (except maybe using a headphone, I did not try this yet, but this would be a hassle for my mother and I had none to test in the first place). The freeze does not happen as long as I don't turn on handsfree mode (but as mentioned, this is the only way to hear the other person). This happens in both directions: incoming AND outgoing audio calls.
What I tried:
- clear app cache
- clear app cache and data
- reinstall whatsapp
- update lineageOS to october 2018 version (was march 2018) and reinstall whatsapp
Nothing worked. Any ideas? Anyone had the same issue?
P. S. If it was my device, I simply would try to work around that, but this is the first "computer" ever for my mother, and I don't to bother my mother with more complications e. eg. explaining how to use a headphone etc. I promised her that a "computer" would enable her to do "phone-calls" to our relatives for free plus text-chats and photos/videos. Now this is a stupid situation for me, as you might see... So any help will be appreciated!
P. P. S. By the way... lineageOS tells me on their website that lt03lte is no longer maintained, and so is the galaxy sII (i9100) for example. They also deleted the link to the nightlies for the i9100, although one can download a nightly dated 20181216 on their site through doing a google search. But for the lt03lte even the nightlies download page has disappeared. Even if the developer does not maintain the devices anymore - why do they delete the link to the last builds or even shut down the download page as with the lt03lte? I was lucky to have downloaded the october version for the lt03lte back then, but I don't understand why they take the last builds off their site. Can anyone explain what taking down the last builds is good for, even if there will be no more builds in the future? I don't get it...

Sound feedback from Dual mic. Loopback test results on S9+ 965U.

[/INDENT]Hello and thanks for your time reading this. S9+ SM-G 965U bought yesterday. I used it with a T-Mobile SIM to test calls. Person called reports "I can hear my self". I perform the loopback test by dialing *#0*#. In the first test that says Dual mic, I can indeed hear sound feedback. I don't hear this in the other two options (Speaker mic (the one on the bottom) or in the headphone mic test). I tried turning mic permissions off, cache clearing twice and a factory reset. For some reason I can't upgrade to Android 10 or perform a security update. The download and install button for the software update does not work. It displays a press but does not do anything. And the security update says it is up to date and its date is September 2019. So I have not tried a firmware or security update yet. What the *&^$ can I do? Thanks and sorry for the frustration depicted here.
hey there- acc. to me i tested this loop thing on my device only one mic work at one time testing SPK_2ND MIC (2nd mic =sound from main spkr) nd Rcv_dual mic( Main mic =sound from earpiece spkr) nd about update if u ask me u should not update to 10 . i was facing some of main installing apps issue after update then downgraded to 9 and i will stay on pie. if ur device is brand new may itwill take around 1 week

Latest update -> with may security patch -> Camera Problem

Today i got this update with may security patch. I noticed that the camera app has been updated as well. Sadly the autoHDR which used to work great now does not. To enable HDR you must turn it on manually. Does oanyone else see this issue? How can it be solved?
