Looking for a home_csc file for G925F/PHN! - Galaxy S6 Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Trying to flash a bootloop G925F with G925FXXU6ERF5 rom. I keep getting single files or factory rom files with 4 files when downloading, excluding the home_csc, only the normal csc.
Is there anybody who could help me out providing the csc_home for PHN region? Or is there any other way to flash the device keeping all the (precious) data on there?
Thanks in advance!

How can i change csc in a custom rom..?

Hello guys!
I want to ask something.
I have just rooted my sgsII with a CF-Root 5.5
and i have installed through cwmr, a custom rom.
Everything is fine!
I have a question..
I want to change the csc that custom rom have (NEELP4)
with the OXXLPH (i have download the csc file).
So, can you tell me how?
Thanks in advance!
Using Odin.
Put the phone in download mode
Put the csc in csc and flash. Remember it might wipe the phone.
I tried that once, but then the phone stack at boot screen..
If this is the correct method, i will try again.
(i checked only the csc box at odin).
Any other suggestions before i give a 2nd chance with ODIN..?
Why dont you flash a custom ROM like mine.It has a muti CSC pack including the CSC for Greece because the Dev is greek. It would be a lot easier and less risky.Click on the link below that says ICS
Thanks for your advice.
I want to try for some days the rom i have now..
Any other suggestions?
Is the correct procedure to flash only the csc with ODIN?
Yeah mate just put it CSC dont select anything else and then hit the start button.Could wipe some data you have on your phone and some say that you should do a factory reset after the phone boots so if you have Titanium then backup your apps.

Flash full ROM with all files (Bootloader, PDA, CSC)

usually they should be in the ROM file (md5.tar) that you can download from sammobile.
At least when I flashed the latest ROM for my region via MobileOdin it showed all those components.

usually it will be flashed automatically, ==>> guide
Dont flash it that way unless you want to have a very fancy door stopper..flash the full md5.tar file as PDA..
Never ever touch PIT and repartition..
Usually you don't need to flash multiple file firmware. You should flash it if you want to fully wipe your phone's system and data partitions from previous Rom junks (like branding). You also don't need separate bootloader because it's usually in .pda with Rom (primary and secondary bootloader files) and are flashed automatically.
U must be also absolutely sure what you are doing if you want to repartition with .pit file information. If there are no problems with your partition layout it's better to not touch this option because in case of some failure while flashing you could brick your shiny new phone.
There is not many 3 files firmware in net but you can find it if you do some search. It's also important to find one which corresponding with your region to have correct CSC settings.
Here you go 3 file firmware for XEO region:
https://hotfile.com/dl/158814567/30ec3bc/GT-I9300_XEO_I9300XXALEF_I9300OXFALEA_I9300XXLEF.rar.html
Remember - do not use repartition with one file firmware. If you must perform repartition use 3 file firmware with correct .pit file (usually newest mx.pit). But even with 3 file firmware you don't need to check repartition option.

unless the zip package of the frimware has those files separately you have to flash only the single tar file. it has all the files integrated. the only change is its automatically flashed we dont need to select it manually

Samsung S7 Exynos: Random Soft Reboots and Apps crashing

My Samsung S7 Exynos started causing me problems after installing a macro app from the play store, specifically receving " X Keeps on Crashing" notifications of different apps crashing, and the phone randomly doing soft reboots when I use apps.
I have tried flashing LineageOS, Stock OS (most recent) and LightROM, with a factory reset and wiping data, internal storage, dalvik cache and cache between each flash and downloading latest firmware for my phone.
Even after flashing a fresh ROM, the insant I boot up my phone, reach the "First Setup" screen, and press the next button, I have these "X keeps on stopping" popups.
I am welcome to any suggestions, even if it may brick my phone, since my phone is already
Hi , maybe the problem will be solved if you flash 5 files firmware for your device which include pit file .
Search on the internet for your model and region .
Good Luck

Thank you very much for the reply, I will try this.
Just wondering though, isn't the PIT file included with the CSC file?
Or will it make a difference if I extract the PIT file and add it directly to the PIT option in Odin?
Hi , extract pit file from CSC and put in odin , also you can search on the internet :

Update firmware without lose any data

hello guys!
I have a SM-G950FD (ZTO) rooted by magisk and TWRP recovery.
I need to perform updates by flash a zip or donwload via odin.
The problem is: when I try to update a firmware downloaded on Sammobile (tar.md5) via Odin it changes my recovery causing to lose all data.
This happen because on firmware that I donwload on Sammobile have a stock recovey included. Otherwise, if I use HOME_CSC will also cause lose data because of change on recovery.
I try a lot of things like, remove recovery file from the tar.md5, also try use Abyssal Kitchen, but I can't have sucess.
I ask for help plz! I just need upgrade my firmware without lose data by flash a update.zip or donwload a .tar via Odin using a firmware that I donwload from Sammobile.
Kind regards!

Softbrick - how to find CSC

Hello guys
Unfortunalely i managed to soft brick my s9 Plus.
I changed the CSC when it was working but don't remember to what.
I can boot into download mode however when i try to reflash via odin it says Fail.
I am guessing its because of the incorrect CSC file i am using
Does anyone know how to find CSC of a softbricked phone.
Attached is the screenshot from download mode. Hope it helps.

If you flashed another CSC with Odin, you may have to do a fatory reset / wipe data in recovery mode.
That is why I always use the "Home_CSC" file as CSC in Odin - to prevent this wiping.
For stock firmware files, I am using Frija: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-frija-samsung-firmware-downloader-checker.3910594/
