I use these two backgrounds to make a seemless effect. It looks great.
I simply use wallpapers made for pc and carefully crop and allign.

Anybody know of an app that will take a small image and create a tiled wallpaper from it? I know how to do it with an image editing program but an Android app to do it would be great. I have various patterns like bricks, coins, etc that I've collected over the years.
IM not sure what u want but if IM not wrong photo grid is an app which combines numerous pictures into one it's free on market

Sort of... That app will combine up to 9 photos (they can all be the same) into one, but there are seams between the photos and the result doesn't work well as a tiled wallpaper.
What I'm looking for is what Windows does, take a small image and without resizing it just tile it as the wallpaper, hopefully without intermediate steps.
Excuse me if I missed it but I'm interested in getting my wallpaper cropped, panoramic, and scrolling as they did in my Galaxy S2 and Fascinate. I know some people are using different launchers to accomplish this. Which one and are they able to crop the wallpaper properly prior to setting it? I also have one other request. I need my live wallpapers to scroll as well since I have one that slightly rotates in either direction when panning thru my home pages. Why is this feature not included on the Note? I sure do miss it. Thanks for your assistance.

I was wondering this myself. I was quite boggled when I went to make my wallpaper my favorite TRON: Legacy wallpaper with LauncherPro and it was completely wrong.
I can get them to scroll when using ADW and Go launchers but it doesn't change the fact that we have to crop them in a portrait shape instead of a landscape shape like we want. Also, my live wallpaper will not rotate no matter what launcher I use. I'm doubting ICS will give us this option either. Maybe a custom ROM is our only hope Great, back to the custom ROM world of bugs...
Autosize DbD wallpaper set is the app you need to pick up to crop or fit a wallpaper correctly without having it enlarged.
Scrolling wallpaper works for me on the launcher called ashell

Do you think this will allow live wallpapers to scroll? I have several that move when moving from page to page when used in my galaxy 2 or fascinate
If you use the skyrocket wallpaperpicker.apk (will try and post it up later)
it allows landscape selection.

I have a really cool wallpaper that goes perfect with my Tycho / ISO50 homescreen theme, but I'd like to add some "life" to it. So I'm looking for a LWP that allows users to choose their own background. Case in point: Pixel Rain can do just that. So can a lot of the 3D effect ones. Just looking for other options. I know they're out there. Maybe a beam/ics one that allows this.
I would LOVE if this one could use a custom background image: Molecules Livewallaper. So sexy.

I pretty much did everything I wanted so far, ripped out apps, put in my own, same with ringtones, boot up animations, several other things... I'm having trouble though with setting the default wallpaper, as well as the default home screen icons / dock icons.
I've been tinkering around in system/framework/framework-res.apk, I'm pretty sure that's where they are but not sure where or how to access them? also going to change the wallpapers in Trebuchet.apk but the stock one seems to be a live wallpaper. Anyone care to drop some knowledge here?
EDIT: I have replaced wallpapers in trebuchet.apk still need help with default wallpaper (appears to be a live wallpaper) as well as dock app configuration
Is there a way to make your lock screen wallpaper in your home screen wallpaper two different photos?
Natively, not that I know of.
But another way of doing this is using a lockscreen replacement app to do so. My favorite is SnapLock. Works great, no ads, plenty of features, beautiful design, has lots of very nice wallpapers, and you can set your own wallpaper too. Check it out!
