Boot loop on SM-T820 - Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 Questions & Answers

Hi for a few days my tablet (Tab s3- SM-T820) is stuck in Boot Loop, doesn't even getting to the SAMSUNG LOGO only the TAB s3.
I went into the Android Recovery screen, tried all the options except the factory reset. Nothing helps, I can't turn it on. When I connect it you my PC on adb mode nothing happened. I have files on it that I wouldn't want to lose. Do I have a way of not wiping data?
Attaching photo.
Thanks!

But USB debugging has been activated in developers options before this happened?
If not, I don't see a chance saving things with adb.

[Q] Retrieving Pictures from Broken S2

The S2 I have suddenly broke. Broke as in... when I turn it on, it stucks on the S logo again and again.
I don't mind reformating and bring it to the shop but I want to retrieve the data.
Few things about the phone:
1. The phone is never unlocked, rooted or installed with custom rom. It's still original condition.
2. I have tried to plug in the phone when it's showing the S logo. Windows can see the phone as media player, but when i click the drive, it's all empty.
3. Tried to enter recover mode, it asked about "downloading rom" and nothing.
Any suggestions? Just need to retrieve the pictures

That sounds like you went into download mode, not recovery mode.
Download mode is Vol Down + Home + Power.
Recovery mode is Vol Up + Home + Power.

Try going into recovery menu, and do a factory reset. If that doesn't help, flash a new ROM.
Actually I meant to say, I went to download mode and stuck in "downloading".
While, when I was in recovery mode, I see "E:failed to mount /sdcard" when i tried to apply update from external storage
Won't factory reset wipe all the data and pictures?
Thankfully, the problem is actually solved by following this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1457458
Apparently, the phone was in soft-brick condition. I don't need to flash the .PIT to recover it.

please help :( issues over 6 months now

Currently bought a sch-i905 4g lte verizon galaxy tablet.
Boots normally, and functions.
Last night i was writing a bootloader through odin, and accidently had auto reboot checked. I was unable to write the modem/kernel that goes with it and now have a galaxy tablet that boots into the OS just fine.
The problem now is though that i can not get my tablet/computer to communicate in download mode it says "waiting for cable"
as well as my recovery is a black screen of doom.
Through rom manager when boot the tablet up i can see that clock work is installed just not boot properly..
I need some help here guys since this is outside my knowledge of fixing.
i can boot into the android OS, but when i charge it while its on it wont actually charge, the X is over the battery, but if i leave it off i can charge it just fine.

unfortunately when i use download mode, it only shows "waiting for cable" no matter what pc, what driver, and what cable i use.
If i boot into normal android, the drivers load fine, i can transfer files etc . just cant recognize it in download mode.
so without recognition from download mode,
a blanked/blacked out recovery mode
im not sure how to fix it.

its under my impression that hard reset will not fix download mode or recovery mode.
well, i did a factory reset, and now my tablet just goes to the samsung tablet 10.1 and still boots up with an ALL BLACK screen.
once its completely turned on, I can hit the power button to dim it, then i hit the power button and all is well im back to android os.
now you've fixed my battery charging issue while my tablet is on, so i am forever grateful.
Next 2 things to fix:
Download Mode & Recovery
thoughts?

Please provide more information.
What happens when you try a normal boot, or a boot into recovery mode?
It seems that you can boot into download mode - does any device show up when you plug in your phone? Have you tried a different cable or a different port on your PC?

If it's not seen by your computer then you need to install the proper drivers. Odin should see your phone then

We'd love to help you, but can't since you seem to be unwilling to actually explain what you're seeing.
My suggestion: Plug your phone into your PC. The Verizon Recovery Assistant will appear. Allow it to recover your phone.
If that doesn't work, please consider explaining your problem without trying to fit it into a tweet as I still have no idea what you're asking.

Samsung tab4 bootloop after system wiped

I was going to wipe data via twrp in my tab 4.but suddenly i wipped system too, and when i reboot it went to bootloop. I tried to go into recovery mode but couldn't and also it is not getting in download mode. I tried all but it just power on and hangs in logo. And when i plug in pc via usb while hanging in logo pc recognise my device also odin does recognise. I think after wipping system i wiped whole rom of my device and i think it is empty. Try to flash your phone back to stock with odin or SmartSwitch , and later if is everything fine try to find stable twrp recovery image.
Can i do that without download mode?

As I know you can't but if you are unable to enter in Download mode using combination keys you can use JIG USB in order to get into Download mode.
Where can i get jig usb? How much does it cost?

Is my device fully bricked? [Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0"]

Hello. I have tried to install a custom recovery (TWRP) on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0" (SM-T290) today, however, it has not exactly gone to plan. I will run over exactly what I did, and what troubleshooting steps I have taken so far.
I downloaded this version of ODIN: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/patched-odin-3-13-1.3762572/
I unlocked the bootloader through the bootloader menu and enabled USB debugging after the tablet had turned on.
I downloaded and used the latest .md5.tar TWRP file from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...-2-for-2019-galaxy-tab-a-8-0-sm-t290.4185235/
ODIN Successfully flashed TWRP and the device rebooted. I attempted to get straight into the recovery by holding volume up, however, the screen remained black.
The tablet now cannot boot into recovery, download mode, etc, and only the backlight of the screen turns on. The tablet does eventually "boot up" and give the little vibration, at which point my computer recognises it, but I cannot see any files on the tablet. I can also see the tablet with ADB using the command "adb devices", however it tells me the tablet is "unauthorized", meaning I cannot use any ADB commands to attempt to reboot into recovery, download mode, etc.
I have tried disconnecting the battery and just powering on with the cable to no avail. I am assuming the device is fully bricked at this point, however, I would be appreciative if any possible solutions could be suggested, and if where I went wrong can be pointed out so I do not make the same mistake in the future.
Thanks in advance.
It's always risky to apply mods.
To get rid off of all mods you applied re-flash tablet's Stock ROM.
If this doesn't work for you then take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.

They never fix anything. The only thing they do is charge you an absurd price and replace the motherboard or the entire tablet.
I'm on the same boat. Tablet can't get into download mode, just shows "This device has unauthorized software on it and is locked". Tried all possible button combinations to no avail.
