As noted on the image, the left battery is a low quality knock-off and the right one is the one originally installed in the phone.
The following is a list of differences I observed
Tighter wrapping on original
Print on the front of the flex cable on original
Better print quality and clarity on original
Original is slightly wider, shorter and thicker
Black wrapping on original has a deeper tone
Original has printing in the back
Original is slightly heavier
Original *contained* a pull tab
Printing is faded on the fake
Older & bolder logo on the fake
Uneven thickness on the fake
Also, it is important to note that the knock-off was considerably worse in terms of battery life compared to the older original.

Mine is not original with brand Yoobao which I bought for about US $20 in Indonesia but the quality is pretty good, almost like original ones
i personally feel like a phone thats over 5 inches is way to big.. (aka the SGSIII, the screen isnt the issue, its the total size of the body). i want a phone i can use one handed.. if i need to press something on the other side of the screen, i either need to adjust my grip, or use my other hand.. its just way to big.
i think the Galaxy S1 had the right size.. they should have kept the screen, and just made the body smaller each time, till they got to barrel-less bodies.
heres the poll, this is a question about phone BODY size, not screen size. i think we can all agree the more of the phone is made up of screen, and less extra body, the better.

one hand operation vs screen size, you have to compromise any one of that for sure.
may be in future bezeless designs we can get both of thes come together
Hey guys this is how i quickly fixed the creaky back battery cover on my indcredible 4g lte. All you need is post it notes and any tape, i used blue masking tape. At first i tried placing pieces of paper on the edges because the lower two corners of the phone were making this annoying sound whenver i held it, but this was no permanent fix as they fell out whenever opening the cover. Also there were creaks on the little area under the volume rocker. All of these area are now fixed and no creaks at all. Now phone feels more dense, although no weight added, just like my og incredible and incredible 2. Also if you are ever in dire need of a postit note you can impress anyone by busting one out from your phone. Droid Does!

The case is made of silicone, sits tight on the phone.
The camera collects dust easily, but that is a weakness of the phone model itself.
In this area the case is loose and vulnerable. They could leave the SIM slot hidden after all.
Buttons are hidden under the case, one must get used to the specific action of hidden buttons. The second step of the camera button is quite hard to feel, actually.
I like this case. It offers serious amount of protection and hides scratched black aluminum edges of the phone effectively.
