Lumia 920 stuck at the redscreen and detected as Nokia Flash - Nokia Lumia 920

Hi everyone, It is 2020 but i still love my lumia 920 windows 10 insider preview,
Many days ago i tried to roll back to windows 8.1 using WDRT but it got failed a few per cent.
when i tried again it showed in device manager as NOKIA FLASH and could not be detected in WDRT. i tried to click "My device is not detected" but detected as Unknown Manufacturer, after awhile it started to download the packages for my bricked lumia 920. but after clicking INSTALL SOFTWARE the process ended with failure.
i tried to flash using WPinternals but this is lock bootloader so i could not flash it.
tried to find many forums and websites but i got nothing.
i love my lumia 920 and want to revive it back.
Please anybody help me to fix my bricked lumia with red screen?
many thanks for everyone.

r u still there?? just thor2/wpinterals to flash a ffu
don't use wdrt,it causes problems(anyway,it breaks chinese version phones rm-822)

chevron wp7 unlock help required!!

Hello guys,
I'm new to wp7.. I recently bought a lumia 800 and tried to unlock it by installing the certificate and then running the wp7unlocker on pc (with Zune running in the background).
An error pops up each time stating that i make sure that the phone is connected using usb and the zune software is running. I googled it many times and still haven't found a solution.
I have installed the latest 12070 update via Zune and haven't flashed the phone or done anything else.
Awaiting a prompt reply.
The free Chevron unlock never worked on the Lumia 800. You have either to use the official Chevron method (which is currently not availably) or unlock your phone via AppHub. If you are a Student you could try to get a free dreamspark unlock.

[Q] Nokia l800 wp 7.8 update

hi there,
i have a Nokia l800 with DLOAD bootloader, so no dev unlocked phone . yesterday i've read an article about updating my phone.
so i was going to update my phone also. no update in zune but i saw that i could update it with Navifirm and NCS.
i followed every step, downloaded the rom. made a map C://...nokia/products/rm-801, but when i connect my phone to NCS when its off
it supposed to be recognized by NCS. but i get a message with: data packes could not be connectent or something like that.
is the problem that i have DLOAD or just that im doing it wrong.
Marijn
That's definitely not a DLOAD problem -- I've got a phone with the locked DLOAD bootloader, and I've installed loads of different ROMs via Nokia Care Suite.
I must admit though, I don't know what *is* causing your problem.
MarijnV look bottom right corner of your NCS-update window if its in offline mode....if so change it to online.

(Solved)Rogers Lumia 710 update to wp7.8 and unlock sim

Hi everyone:
I am using Rogers Lumia 710. Since haven't seen the wp7.8 update pushed to my phone, I decided to update it by myself. What I did is following:
1. Downloaded the latest firmware with NaviFirm 1.5, and chose the APAC1 Black one under RM-803 (mine is RM-809)
2, Installed the Nokia Care Suite, changed the ROM's name to my phone's product code, successfully flashed it. All my apps were gone though. Using my live ID to logon, I could get all my contacts, calendars back.
3, Using the NssPro 5.0. I flashed the OSBL file to Qualcomm.
So far everything was fine. The problem started below.
4, In NssPro, chose Simlocks -> WP7 -> Unlock
The NssPro switched the phone to OSBL mode, I could see the screen turned to dark after a short vibration, then NssPro said could not find the phone. The snapshot is attachd.
I tried many times and NssPro just couldn't find the phone.
Is there any one knows what is the cause and how to solve it?
Thank you guys.

UPDATE: Problem Solved!
I was using Win7 64 bit.
Tried anther computer which is runing WinXP 32bit. Installed NCS, ZUNE and NSS Pro 0.54
The trick is:
If you connect the phone and use NSS to unlock it, NSS will turn the phone mode to OSBL mode, then it stops, just leave the phone there without any further actions. What I did was I disconnect the phone then re-plug it, click Unlock in NSS again, amazingly, it searched the phone and found a place to change. At that time the phone was recognized as NAND drive.
After NSS said successfully unlocked, I tried Fido card. The phone asked PIN and I typed in 8 zeros, then I could make phone call with Fido network.
Now my phone is unbranded, upgraded to wp7.8 and sim-unlocked. Bingo!
Hope this helps

I did not exactly understand what was your problem but I do have a problem with the drivers.
I looked in the sreenshot, what does it say in the list, just right from USB pin layout? For me, I get a not working Qualcomm driver and in this device list something like 'usb disk' appears 3 times (I don't remember the exact words, not at home to check). Instead of showing Nokia (or something) on first line.
I am wondering if we had same problem.. do I need to wipe my pc and install 32 bit win7? doesn't sound like a great idea. I tried virtualbox but I can't pass the usb through the host.

[Q] Lumia 710 Care Suite 'Non Upgradable' HELP?

Hey everyone!
I've checked for weeks now on Zune for the Windows Phone 7.8 Update. and have resorted to using the navifirm method.
It's factory unlocked from nokia, RM-803.
I've done everything correctly, but Care Suite 5.0 just gives me a 'Software Status: Not Upgradable' message. The refurbish page has the 'Start' button greyed out and I'm unable to flash ANY firmware file at all.
Does anyone have a possible work around to this? Or am I locked on 7.5 forever?
Read a few threads you`ll find a few ways up updating to 7.8
This is probably the easiest for updating

I did a clean flash using this method

[Q] Has someone successfully flashed a firmware in Lumia 925?

Hello. As there's no Lumia 925 forum yet, and the 925 has almost the same specs, I'm posting my question here.
Has anybody been able to flash a Lumia 925? I've read four different tutorials for Lumia flashing, none of them agreeing in the sequence of buttons pressing; and with each of the tutorials, and after trying no less than twenty times, I always ended up with some error message, "wrong signal from the device", or something like that. And it gives me back the "retry" popup window, or simply exits with error code. The only log I get from the flashing software (Nokia Care Suit) is "recovery failed". I'm using Product Support Tool version 2013.49.3.30, one of the latest, supposedly supporting Lumia 925.
Someone else? Some success flashing this phone? Some hint about what the issue might be?

Aren`t the Nokia Care Suite or Nokia Software Updater compatible with the 925?
Yes, both are. That's why I was wondering. Anyhow, I already passed that stage with a clean installation of the software in my system. Now I'm stuck in another problem...

You have, already, two thread open for the same problem...
Problem flashing Lumia 925
[Q] How to flash latest firmware?
Nope. Those two threads address different problems. I first posted one about where to find latest software. Later on, I posted another one addressing a very particular issue regarding the flashig process. By the way, I reckon you might be able to help with the latter.
