What kind of error?
What type of GSI do you flash? IMO, K30 5G is A/B. So you need to download and flash A/B GSI.
edit: K30 5G is A/B ARM64.
Hope this help. I am waiting for my phone. So I don't have phone to test the tools.

Havoc OS A/B ARM64 GAPPS

There are many more GSI ROMs available. You can check here.
Hope one of these works.

Hello sir,
The link of this tool was probably abandoned. I still have the copy. May I ask your permission to share this tool to other developers in case someone may be interested to work around and fix some issues.

I have the copy of this tool. Waiting for the author to allow me to share with you.
But I tried this yesterday and got bootloop for 3 GSI. So I assumed that this tool needs some more workarounds.

Nokia X6 with Custom Oreo ROM - How to load stock Android Pie 6.1 plus image
Hi,
I bought a Nokia X6 in September 2018 (6GB/64GB) and would like to install the Stock Nokia 6.1 Plus Android 9 image.
I see my phone is rooted and it shows the message "Your device has loaded a different operating system." everytime I start it and I have to use Magisk to hide several banking applications.
The phone works great and I knew it was going to be relased in Europe eventually, but I am scared to brick it by loading the Android 9 Image.
I already tried attempting the update through OTA but the zip file is ignored. Nothing happens.
I am new to this forum so I don't know if my question has been asked by someone else.
Can you please help me?
Thank you!

TWRP-installer.zip for evert

Simple way to install TWRP on Moto G6 plus!!
1. download the twrp-installer.zip
2. boot in TWRP via fastboot boot twrp.img
3. flash twrp-installer.zip to overwrite stock recovery
4. flash the magisk.zip because step 3. will patch your boot.img
5. it's done! you can start TWRP easily like on A-only-slot devices
Works perfect for my Moto G6 plus rooted with magisk!!
How did you prepare this?
Do you also have flashable .img of TWRP for G6 Plus?

Simple Great!
For me adb sideload dont work, even when i type "adb devices" or "sudo adb devices" just appear "no devices/emulators detected" but when I use twrp via "sudo fastboot boot twrp.img" all works propertly. Although i type adb kill-server and sudo adb start-server no fix that than in the another method it works. I think maybe is for version (3.2.3-0) works and in your (3.2.1-0) dont (?) or Is by in one Is installed on the devices and the another not (?)
Thanks in advance for an posible solution. Grettings from México
Many thanks in advance segra246x.
Unfortunately for me, every time I´ve flashed TWRP, then I do not know what may i do to reboot the phone. My phone is unlocked and I am root with Magisk, so I do not know which boot should I flash at the end, so that it starts again and does not stay in a loop with TWRP or in brick.
Couls you tell wich procedure are you using to can start the device normally?
i flashed patched boot image, Should i flash boot patched boot image and re-start again Magisck instalation? Should i flash boot boot.image from the regarding stocke version without loosing root satus?
Thank you, the twrp works fine installed with stock Oreo 8.0.

Secure Startup Password
First off thank you segra246x for making this. I had no problem following the instructions and got TWRP installed with no issue. I have also been able to successfully flash a bunch of different Pie GSIs (phhTreble, AOSP Extended) successfully.
I do however have a question that I cannot seem to find the answer too anywhere for the Moto G6 Plus. On past devices (i.e. Moto G5 Plus) I was able to configure the device to require a password or pin or pattern before the device would boot. Similarly TWRP would require this in order to mount /data. Depending on where you are looking online this could be called Secure Boot or Secure Startup. On this device however I cannot find the option when I set the password with any version of Android to require the boot password. This means that all it takes to decrypt and copy my data partition is a hard reset into recovery.
I have done a fair bit of research into this to see if I was just missing a step or a missed step with no luck. I saw some posts from Motorolla / Lenovo that indicate this is no longer an option, I will post links below for the interested. I also saw a Moto G6 post talking about having to format, reboot into recovery, format again to get the decryption to work. I knew that it would be long shot but I gave this a try just in case but it did not help.
Does anyone have any information about this device, TWRP and secure boot? I know that decrypting /data in TWRP can be difficult but if I had to choose I would rather data partition is never mountable by TWRP over mountable with no password. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, this has to do with the rom I think. I had LineageOS 15.1 installed and I had to decrypt the data with my password before I could do anything in twrp. I currently have the option to encrypt my phone on HavocOS under the security tab, but it doesn't work for now =))). On LOS15.1 it was enabled by default, so give it a try if this concerns you so much.
Thanks

OK I was not sure if this was more related to the ROM or TWRP, my bad for posting in the wrong place. I have tried the AOSPExtended 9 ROM and all 3 flavors of the phh treble 9 ROM with the same result. Have not had any luck installing Lineage or any of the 8.1 phh treble ROMs. I will keep digging to see if I can't find some info about this. Thanks.

it might vary from device to device.. in this what i did is:
* extracted partition dump from device using adb shell(need root)
Code:
dd if=/path/to/partition/ of=/sdcard/or/anything
* then made the zip (You can use mine just replace the files with your device correct files.. and you are good to go.
* othe guy did more amazing hacks.. like he made some fastboot envoronment in twrp and directly made zip from fastboot images.. although those images are pretty much same as extracted from sdb but sparsed you can have look on them too
hope it helped

Do you think when I make a flash zip, that I can bypass bootloop?

First you need to find the reason for bootlooping then only making the stock zip is possible
Actually installing stock ROM from pc should not give bootlooping if bootloop occcrs you messed up with files check whether the files belonging to your device model reply with device model and other stuffs

I tried an AOSP Rom and found out that VoLTE is not working. So I flashed to stock using this method.
All is now working, but I am repeatedly getting this error message regarding Motorola update being unsuccessful, which is burning down my battery faster.
What can I do about it?.
Please help.

Thanks for the reply. I have downladed april fastboot flashable rom from Mororola updates (link shared at telegram channel) but when i unpacked it, there was no flash script inside, so I could not flash that stock rom and I am still getting this error.
If you or somebody can share that flashall.bat script, i will be thankful.
edit: managed to flash the latest official firmware using youtube tutorial by andro guruji.
All my data was also safe.
Thanks again.
Will I get official updates after flashing this stock rom??

How To Guide OTA Update process for rooted nord 2 : Any incremental Thread update Latest Feb 2022

Hi guys so Many users are facing issue while they are rooted and twrp installed on there phone.
They can't able to Flash update through stock settings OR via twrp if they tries to flash it via twrp manually facing no wifi and Bluetooth.
So here is the process to flash any incremental update via twrp just we need update zip, vbmeta image and boot image of old oos version respective to your new update means if. We are upgrading to V11 we need V10 boot img
U can use following commands to extract your current stock boot img after connecting to PC
adb shell
dd if=/dev/block/sdc49 of=/sdcard/boot.img
exit
Note: Remember this process will replace your twrp and removes root to gain root access. We need to repeat twrp installation shown in the following tutorial
TUTORIAL TWRP AND ROOT NORD 2 OXYGEN OS 11 ( Links updated!)
SO finally I successfully rooted with TWRP and root access.thanks to all developers @Eastw1ng @TheMalachite Following are all download links combined in one post Also there are two threads like unlocking boot loader and twrp but there are some...
forum.xda-developers.com
You can gain root acess only by flashing magisk.zip file after step no 7 given under instructions but I didn't tested it yet.

good Instructions! Reboot after flashing boot.img isnt necessary. OTA Update zip can be downloaded within OTA App in Settings (do not press reboot). After downloading you can reboot to TWRP and the file location is: /data/OTA-package/update.zip.

Still trying to wrap my head around this (although updating worked fine from A11 to A12 on my EEA variant, thanks @pankspoo!).
Can I actually extract a stock boot.img from a Magisk-rooted phone? Is it stock (in which case why is root removed by the update.zip) or is it modified (in which case, why can I extract it as stock)?

You can use those adb commands while booted in TWRP, without being rooted. So you'll extract the stock boot image

How To Guide [Guide] How to Flash ColorOS on OnePlus 9R

How to Flash ColorOS on OnePlus 9R
Warrning!: flash at your own risk, Im not responsible for any hardware damages.
This method is for testing purposes, don't expect everything to work
Prerequisites:
OnePlus 9R (Tried on CN Unit LE2100 DDR5)
OOS 12 on both slots a/b
Unlocked bootloader
ColorOS Build from OnePlus 8T
Payload Dumber
Attached Flash_All.bat script (Big Thanks to @HELLBOY017 for it)
a brain to follow everything properly
1. If you're already running OOS 12, and updated with OTA more than once, you can skip a/b on both slots
2. If still running OOS 11, then Flash OOS 12 .21 then update to .33 so you have OOS 12 on both slots
OOS 12 .21 Here, OOS 12 .33 Here (Use attached OPLocalUpdate to flash .33)
3. Unlock bootloader and let system boot up and finish setup
4. Download ColorOS 12 for OnePlus 8T
OnePlus 8T ColorOS 12.1 C.29
Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, Link 4 (Download from one of them)
5. Dump payload.bin from ColorOS Zip with payload-dumper-go
Drag and Drop Zip into payload-dumper-go.exe and let it finish, ROM will be inside extracted_* folder
6. Copy Attached flash-all-COS-9R inside extracted_* folder
7. Reboot your 9R into bootloader
8. Run flash-all-COS-9R .bat and let it finish
9. Let device reboot when everything is finished and wait for system to boot, if device didn't boot reboot into recovery and wipe data
Final note: This guide is for advanced users, I won't spoon feed you every detail or remote into your PC to do everything
Also dont use any other tool to flash payload like fastboot enhance, it will brick your device
For Gapps, just install PlayStore and Login, you can find it Here
Screenshots attached bellow
OnePlus 8T Builds:
ColorOS 12.1 C.29
Link 1, Link 2, Link 3, Link 4
ColorOS 12 .34 Here
ColorOS 13.0.0 F.06 Here
Great. Would love to try this on my 9R
OMG that's crazy! Thank you for your work, and I also want to know when I finish installing cos, can my 9r ota or local install normally like 8t?

You shouldn't do OTA's, you have to keep downloading full firmware zips and flash them with the same method above to avoid any possible bricks!
