Hi everyone, I really hope somebody can help me with this.
My Mum made a Contract with the Provider o2-DE and they send her an Samsung Galaxy S7. That was in August 2016, the Contract ends in August 2018.
The only Issue she has with it is like I mentioned that the Device has serious Startup Problems, if she powers off the Device, it really becomes a Game of Luck to get it to Power on again.
First Question: Could this be related to the Device having too much Running-Time? (Like about 300+ Hours being on without a single reboot?)
Second Question: Could it be a Hardware Failure or like that o2 did send us a bricked Device which had this Problem from the Beginning?
The Device came with Android 6.0.1, We upgraded it to Android 7.0, we keep checking for Updates but we are kinda afraid of installing them since it needs about 4-5 Hard Reboots till it even starts installing the Update (Also afraid of bricking it because of the Boot Issues ) (And the Updates doesn't seem to bring any improvements related to this...)
And after installing Updates the Boot Issues are coming up again, the last Update even took me about 40-50 Reboots till the Device booted up normally again
Does anyone have an Idea what we could do next?
We eventually wanted to send it in for a Repair, but my Mum urgently needs to be available for Calls (like School of my Sis etc.) but o2 denied sending us an Replacement Device she can use till the S7 would be repaired (which according to the Repair Site might take about 5 Days)
I really hope someone here has any Advice
Have a nice day!
I see that phone has some crack on screen , and also I think that restart can be battery problem or problem on mainboard , it s better to send to Repair !

The Crack on the Screen is gladly only in the Tempered Glass though The Device always gets really hot during the restart loop and Battery drains like hell, so I suppose it's maybe even both the Battery and the Mainboard... Anyways, thank you for your Answer, I'll try to send it in

Hello, wondering if anyone can help me, I've got two S7 edges which are softbricked stuck on the samsung home screen (bought in a job lot)
Both phones have been rooted before and have functioning TWRP on them but I'm quite new to ODIN so I'm struggling to find the correct software to flash them back to a normal unrooted state
If anyone can help that would be great as I was hoping to use them as Christmas presents
Good evening everyone, i am here to request a help about my broken android phone screen to try and figure out how to fix the problem i'm facing, lets go from the start, i have a Samsung galaxy grand 2 (Sm-G7102) which had a really buggy touch, i could barely use the phone due to the cracked screen so one day i got really triggered and tried to take the first layer of the screen off but i ended up taking it all off with the one under it disconnecting the whole display (the thin cable that was connected to the screen got pulled off) now i'm only left with (idk what to call it) the last layer of the screen which is only a clear display but it doesn't respond to my touches anymore, and its locked with a pin lock so there's no way in hell i'm gonna be able to recover my files off of it, i tried everything like screen mirroring and a program which can remove a screen lock but sadly this Grand 2 is hardly supported by anything, and therefor its not gonna work i also tried using some ADB solutions but it wouldn't work, now idk if its me who's an amateur and couldn't use it or if my usb debugging is on, idk even know if my usb debugging is on but i'm sure its not. i don't know what kind of way to try. also my phone have been through a lot, Before the screen stopped working i had a custom recovery and i was curious and did something like ''wipe system'' which took my whole system off (including the custom recovery) cause i wanted to flash my phone to kitkat, so instead when i lost my whole system i downloaded Samsung Mega kitkat firmware and installed it directly to the phone using Odin. and it worked like a charm. Phone is also connected to wifi, connected to 2 of my google accounts, and that's all. Now my questions are:
First: I saw that my grand 2 is not supported by an OTG adapters which was my only hope but it supports the Mega and i have already mentioned that i flashed a Mega kitkat firmware into my Grand 2 does that mean it would work??
2: Second if an adapter doesn't work is there any hope to control my phone with an ADB or any other way?? or at least just to recover my files (It includes very important pictures that i don't want to lose).
Thank you all in advance.
