Hey guys, I have probably received over 10 calls from whatsapp to activate the calling feature, however, it's not working. I have tried both latest versions 522 and 555 and I still got no activation. I am starting to believe that whatsapp has blocked it in some countries including mine, United Arab Emirates.
Are there any other UAE numbers activated or is it just me? I am using Galaxy Note 4. Android version 4.4.4
Any suggestions please?

just bought ( unlocked )Honor 8x, its my first phone operated by Android . just switched from iOS to Android to have dual Sim and Twin App. I'm very satisfied with the phone, but my only problem is not having Wifi calling. my sim card already support the service and I had it with my old iOS phone. I have read many methods but nothing works. I don't have even the option in my setting page.

I'm living in the middle of nowhere, cannot call without WiFi-calling. I thought all smart phone has this feature, but I was wrong. I like my new phone Honor 8x and I hope there is a Solution

is it possible to have this feature with new software update or WiFi calling is related to the hardware ?
do you think that I can have wifi calling if I root the phone ?
I'm in UK and WiFi calling has always been available.

I will check in my 8X if it is available. Haven't used it so not sure.
still waiting for any solution, I have to drive 6 miles to get signal and make a call.

I have an Irish SIM and the carrier does not support wifi calling. No option in Wireless and networks | Call Settings menu.
My UK SIM supports wifi calling and that option is in the menu under SIM 2.
Looks to me to be added to the menu by the carrier enabling it.
Phone is European version JSN-L21C432. Not sure wifi calling is available in all regions and variants of the phone.
The SIM card that I'm using right now has been in iPhone and WiFi calling was working just fine. I have switched over to Honor 8x and the Wi-Fi calling never appeared at the settings never.

Hi. I recently bough a Huawei Y6 2019 in spain. It's supposed, as indicated by the carrier, to support wifi calling; that's really important for me so I can save roaming charges. However, I find nowhere in phone settings the wifi calling option.
I also went to this website: https://huaweiflash.com/how-to-flash-huawei-y6-2019-stock-firmware-all-firmwares/ searching for some other firmware, but all I tried from there had no wifi calling option.
For what I've been searching around, it seems that the only Y6 2019 firmwares that support wifi calling are the ones from the UK. However, I can't find them anywhere.
Does anyone has some place to download Y6 2019 UK firmware, or any variant that supports wifi calling? Thanks

Hi, I'm unable to connect to a 5G network that I can catch in my area.
"NR only" in *#*#4636#*#* does absolutely nothing and it shows "NR available (NSA): false" in the same menu.
I'm located in Slovakia and using Slovak Telekom (a Deutsche Telekom subsidiary - same as US T-Mobile).
I confirmed my eSIM is 5G compatible and connectable and that the signal can be caught in this place.
Everything is stock and the exact version of the phone is G1AZG - so the Global/International Variant.
This same devices works no problem in Austria, and I found some articles about Google software locking this ability in "unsupported regions".
If anyone has any useful info/experience with this, I'd be very very thankful for sharing.
Hi, without root this won't work with your carrier.
I'm from Czech Republic and everything works on my Pixel 6 including VoLTE, VoWifi and 5G. Of course, Czech Republic is also one of the unsupported countries.
