I am wondering if any Huawei Mediapad users experienced the same problem.
I upgraded Google+ to version 4.0.0 on May 21st, 2013. After the upgrade, the app crashes on opening every time. I tried to uninstall/reinstall, clear data & cache and had the same results. When I downgraded to version 3.5, the app can be opened without any glitches.
Is there anyone having the same the problem? Any solutions or Suggestions? Thank you in advanced.

I have an Airis TM500 (GIONEE GN800) and i have the same problem from the same version. Any solution?
Thanks
Same Problem here with newest 4.2.2 from after_silence.... NO idea to fix...
For me it helped to disable the g+ app on system (from the gapps package) and to install the latest version from the play store.

Solved by installing CyanogenMod
I would like to update the situation.
After installing CyanogenMod 10.1 and factory reset my Huawei Mediapad, Google+ works perfectly. So there is an incompatibility between Google+ app and the stock OS that causing this problem.
The problem of blank pages in Amazon Kindle also disappeared on CyanogenMod 10.1.
Just find tweet from Funkey Huawei
https://twitter.com/FunkyHuawei/status/921989956008009729
Android O for P10 (European Single Sim VTR-L09C432) now available.
???
What they don't tell is, that this is only an unsupported beta.
The version is called VTR-L09C432B302.
They also provide ANDROID 0 EMUI 6 VTR-AL00C00_Build23.
So, EMUI is called EMUI 6 with Android O.
Install this only, when you want a maybe not working beta version on your phone.
I think, the best is to wait another few weeks. Huawei will provide more information about this this week, maybe - I hope so.
I hope there will be chance to sign up for beta tester
If someone wants to test the Funkyhuawei VTR-L09C432 release, I can provide my account with 3 open points.
Only condition: write a test including screenshots of new features of EMUI 6 for the XDA community.
Just write me a pm.
Please test it.. I want to have Orep asap hope to get beta in next weeks.

I asked FH if they know when a Beta for VTR-L29C432 will be released and when Huawei will release it for public.
Answer: For L29 is a very early beta available but they won't release it in this status.
For the second question, I didn't get an answer.
So, since the sGSI over at the Treble forums works fairly well besides the WiFi issue, my question is would using the LG V35 or maybe OP5T WiFi files solve that issue?
I would try to test it myself but I have no idea which files besides ...WiFi..so are required and have no idea how to even put them there, so any of the DEVs having an idea?
Gesendet von meinem LG-H930 mit Tapatalk
Already tried to update the wifi driver in the kernel to latest CAF sources, also tried the same Wifi config as on the OP5(T) (operstate instead of what we have now). The only difference now should be the wifi related blobs (check proprietary-files.txt), which ours are 8.0 only (not 8.1 like on the op5t). The rest of the wifi service and so on is built via LineageOS source (and therefor same as on the OP5(T) except MoKee changed something of that lol)
if you change the cnss-daemon, make sure you hex-edit it and change the path to the wifi firmware (the 3 .bin files in the prop. files list) to the one we have (the current path looks so weird, as i had to keep the character length as you cant easily add characters while hex-editing it, because of everything else uses pointers inside and they would then **** up)
I will wait now for official release, suppose it will be around a month or so, maaybe 5 or 6 weeks, to get the september security patch in it.
Hello!
Here is Tim from Germany. Sorry for my bad English.
I ask for help, but I do not know if I'm right here.
I have a Xiaomi Redmi 5 plus (vince) with a custom rom from here, LineageOS-Version 15.1-20180526-Unofficial-vince
I put it on my phone one month earlier, everything works fine, i can not detect any errors, i am very satisfied with that.
Now I have seen that there is a new version of LineageOS for my phone here in this forum: lineage-15.1-20180728-UNOFFICIAL-vince.zip
At this point a big compliment and many thanks to the many developers in this forum here!
So today I downloaded the new zip (lineage-15.1-20180728-UNOFFICIAL-vince.zip) and saved it on my external memory card and wanted to install it with TWRP.
But I did not want a total reinstall, just an update of my existing OS, I do not want to lose my data and programs and email accounts etc.
But that did not work, TWRP always canceled the installation after a few seconds with an error message (error Numer 7 (??))
Now I'm not an expert, so please excuse the stupid question, but can not update the operating system with this new Zip?
Do I have to completely reinstall it and lose all my data if I want to have this new version from July 2018?
I know these versions are not an official, finished version of the operating system, but I thought with a new version, even though this is not an official version, could you just update the old one?
Is this assumption wrong?
Am I making a mistake here?
Because of this, because I have another cell phone, I ask Moto G 2014,
There are official versions of LineageOS.
Every time there was a new version, I could easily install it via TWRP without any problems ...
Thank you in advance for your help!
Greetings from Germany
Bleibe bei der "unoffiziellen" Version; die neueren haben alle Bugs, du würdest dich verschlechtern und wundern ... !

According to Xiaomi India, MIUI 11 "might" get out of beta on 16.10.2019.
On a personnal note, I don't believe the Mi 9 will receive the update first since there are now several models already on MIUI 11.
Aside from the A series without MIUI (Android One), I won't ever touch a Mi phone in the near future.
The ROM building is a disaster, the Mi 9 is en route to being updated last, EEA ROM still having notifications problems...
Bleh.

Not ever again for me.
That's the same date what xiaomi is advertising since 2 days so it should be possible. And if you dont like the Stock Rom, switch to xiaomi.eu. All Bugs from Stock are not present there and if you dont follow the Installation Tips from most users you will never have any problems. Btw. Use lrteam twrp and not maronofrio. Even if its included in the xiaomi.eu Rom just Flash lrteam twrp after flashing the Rom and everything else you need. Its allways based on latest China beta (without bloadware and ads) All features are opend to every body even without a xiaomi Account. You allways get the latest Android Version, security Patch and miui Version that are existing. Sometimes you have to wait a week for a security Patch but thats nearly Pixel Niveau. For example Android 10 was there a few months ago (without Bugs) miui 11 is there for two weeks now (without Bugs) you get weekly Updates. And with magisk and/or xposed you can change the whole System as you want it even like Stock Android (except for the settings App). Xiaomi.eu is the allround Rom for everybody who likes to mod his System as Hard as you can(just if you want tofor sure) and stay up to Date with a Rock stable System. Just dont Listen to the dozend users Posting their bugs/problems on xiaomi.eu forum or here on xda, 99% of These problems are in Front of the Display and not behind it. If you need some instructions, Flash latest lrteam twrp (1001) Flash latest xiaomi.eu Rom (10.10.) Flash magisk (if you want to) and if you want allways working Backups (even over different Android Versions and different twrps) remove encryption (included in twrp "advanced" (rm force encrypt) ). After that just Flash lrteam twrp img again (just from within twrp) because xiaomi.eu Rom Installation will over write it. For updating the weekly you just habe to wipe "System (yes even if devs say you dont need to) dalvik and Cache" Flash Update, Flash magisk, rm force encrypt, Flash lrteam twrp img, reboot and you are happy forever. I am dirty flashing Updates for over 4 months now every week and never had a single Bug with this method. I know this Was maybe a little bit ot sorry for that.

A very clear write-up. I appreciate your time and efforts. I am using MIUI 11 (lastest version released last friday) and it is working very fuild smooth and also no bloatwares. I have customised to my taste and works better. I like xiaomi mi 9 for the simplicity in modding ourselves.
Are they releasing Global and EEA ROM in the same time or EEA ROM will came a little bit later after Global ROM?
Is anybody know this?!

Sorry, but that's just not correct.
You are right in the fact that some, or most, of the bugs in the stock ROM are not on Xiaomi.eu ROM, but it's a trade-off, you trade some bugs for other bugs and for some other stupid ideas from the developers.
Xiaomi.eu developers hard mod the ROM themselves, a lot of stupid choices going on there. For instance, the developers thought it is a good idea to remove the Message notification option from the settings, because they think SMS messages are just like any other notification, and their advice, if you want to have a different sound for SMS notification, is to go to App Info and modify from there. Of course, that DOES NOT WORK, the sound gets reset to default notification sound every single time, but they don't fix that or restore the freaking option in settings. And the list can go on and on.
Also, the stock apps are a mess, because they are not really the Global ones, but not Chinese versions either, they are also modded by the developers of Xiaomi.eu, so they work like crap or not at all in some cases. Forget about updating them, there is no way to do that unless you install the APK directly and then, in most cases, they works even worse.
Basically, xiaomi.eu is a pain to live with, it might be nice for those who just use the phone to look fancy and to take a few pictures, but if you actually USE the phone, it's crap.
That being said, the Stock ROM is no joy either, it gets updated once every 3-6 months and basically, like 10% of the features and fixes from the defunct Global Beta make it to the Global Stable. So yeah...for short, Xiaomi can make great phones, but they make crap ROM and there are no decent options of a good ROM, in my opinion.

First it's not final, second what the problem to wait 2 or 3 weeks and get less bugs?
So much for buying one of the current flagship devices,Mi9 SE gets updates faster...

Let's all buy a less powerful phone to get updates quicker.
No sense, I'm on Xiaomi.eu ROM, and guess what, choose miui 10 with Android 9.
Less bugs, way more stable.
Don't rush things, Xiaomi usually does crap when speeds thing up...

No. Thats a beta update. Not Global Stable update.
