I'm looking for an app which can apply filters to the audio input from either built-in microphone or external Bluetooth device (stereo).
The result should be played back to the headphones.
It seems simple but I cannot find any app for that.
Is anyone aware of similar apps? Non root, free or paid.
I found the app "DSP audio filter" which does passband but it seems only to the mono input from the built-in mic.
I would like one that does stereo processing.

Is there an app that will let you play music from your phone on your car using a bluetooth connection? Like is there a way to play all phone audio on your car via bluetooth rather than just call audio?

No app can change this, the thing is your car stereo has to support the A2DP bluetooth profile, if you do not have a "bluetooth audio" option and only "telephone" on your car stereo then it only supports the "headset" profile, for example I have a pioneer bt-8000 car stereo, it supports both a2dp and headset profiles, I set my car stereo to "bt audio" then all audio OTHER than phone audio comes through car stereo, then if a call is initiated inbound or outbound, the car stereo automatically switches to phone, then when disconnected back to bt audio

I did however forget one way that this could be possible without the A2DP profile, not sure if this exists for our phone, but a hack could be made on the phone that would force all audio through the headset profile on the phone itself, but like I said, I haven't seen this hack for our phones

There's an app in the Market called Super Bt Mono Froyo that does exactly that - routes all audio from phone to Bluetooth device using headset profile. The quality pretty much sucks for music though - kinda like if you'd listen to music over GSM phone connection. I personally use it for navigation prompts when riding my motorcycle. If you want decent quality - you need A2DP.
So I have the following question:
I just bought a new car with full bluetooth integration. It works great! I was wondering if I could do the following:
Have the phone synced with the car, but have the navigation sounds still play over the phone speakers.
Would this be possible to do with a hack? Are there third party programs that allow this? From what I found this isn't possible to do in base android.
The navigation does play great through the car speakers if I have the bluetooth audio stream selected as my audio input on the stereo. The problem is that if I don't have that selected, or I'm on a call, it doesn't play anything.
Thanks in advance!
When recording a song yesterday, my song ideas came out choppy.I was recording strictly wav audio and It almost sounded like there was a noise gate on the phone. After a while of digging through options, I found an option in Call settings> Additional Settings > noise reduction. When this option is selected, the phone turns on a noise gate that makes audio recordings sound terrible; However, when this option is turned off, Audio recordings sound great!! Unfortunately, this doesn't affect the audio quality when recording video, because most wav audio programs only use one microphone. So, I'm wondering....Seeing as how this phone records camcorder audio in stereo( one mic at the top and one at the bottom ), is it possible that these microphones are out of phase and thats why there is no bass in video recording? I'm assuming that the polarity on the top microphone is reversed to eliminate background noise during calls. Also, maybe there is a camcorder program where you can select which microphone to use. When I connected my Galaxy headphones( with the included Mic) the audio was redirected from the the two microphone to the headset microphone. Im thinking of making a TRRS to TRS adapter, which will connect only the microphone and see if that resolves the issue. I understand that I could just add an equalizer to the audio from video in iMovie, but I really enjoy experimenting with this problem. Furthermore, has anybody tried making an XLR to TRRS cable? I used one on my Samsung Vibrant years ago and it sounded great! any suggestions would be great!!! (To get to call settings, you have to click on the phone app, then left button to access)
Hey guys, can you recommend good audio recording app for external mic? I've got one shotgun mic and want to use the phone as audio recorder but was unable to do it with the integrated audio recorder and some apps I tried with the keywords "audio recorder" ha
I can recommend Recforge - pretty sure it is what you are looking for
I am with MIUI 10.3.7 and non mod installed and again when recording always uses the internal mics. Not the plugged shotgun mic into the headphone jack. Is this jack output only and not input, thank you for the recommendation but again the external mic is notndetected
I got some new true wireless earbuds and the audio quality is great for music, and the microphone quality is actually great when recording something like a voice note. But as soon as you use both the audio and mic at the same time, both suck.
So is it possible to use the headset in stereo just for the audio and the phone's regular microphone during calls? I've been looking around for the last hour or so and can't seem to find anything. No apps, no settings, no developer options. As soon as I turn off calls on the device it just uses the phone's speakers and mic.

To be honest ... IDK.
On some devices, you can set another audio device for a special app.
Settings - Sound and vibration - Separate app sound
I just tried it with bluetooth speakers and the phone app, but was not successful. Maybe it works for you.
