Hi,
Did anyone find a Stock Firmware for the X96 Mini Q6X 2.2 Device ?
And NO, the normal Stock Firmware does not work with this device.
It has nothing to do with my Flasher or my PC it only relies on eMMC initialisation.
The Q6X 2.2 has a different eMMC (Samsung) so the Device needs another bootloader Chain and DTB_Partition to initialize this eMMC.
If someone has a running custom rom, it would be fine, too. I can grab the Bootloader Chain and DTB Partition from there, too.
The most common Vontar X96 minis are Q6X2.3 boards only they run with all those Stock Firmwares out there. But NOT the 2.2.
Iam not sure about a locked bootloader. I could be so, but perhaps it only relies on wrong BL Chain and DTB.
Greetings Chris

I just installed a custom rom and it just get a blank screen, I am running the sk17a and was wondering if anyone has a link for a ftf file so I can flash the original rom. Media fire links are not working..I installed the minicmsandwich_lite_final and it doesn't boot. Is this rom only for sk17i? THanks
No, you can flash the rom regardless of having sk17a/sk17i but just make sure you have the proper kernel instaled, are you trying to flash it on a locked or unlocked bootloader?
Yet again...first sticky on forum, step nr. 6
Hello,
I cannot mount my SD cards in Android and also in ClockworkMod Recovery. So I decided to send it for warranty.
I currently have Xperia Pro (MK16i, Central Europe) with CyanogenMod 10.1, some non-stock kernel an of course unlocked bootloader.
I couldn't find any guide how to restore everything to out-of-the-box state and I would like to write some guide, but I need your help guys.
I guess that what I need to do is this: (in order)
Flash the stock kernel using Flashtool
Flash the stock ROM using Flashtool (as SD card is not working on my phone)
Lock the bootleader
I found this ({PRO} Complete List of Roms) great post with stock ROMs. I can find the stock firmware but I cannot find stock kernel. Could someone point it for me? Or is the kernel included in firmware?
Then I found this tutorial for Xperia Arc to Relock bootloader. It some file, I should flash it with FlashTool and it should lock the bootloader.
Am I right? Could you please revise my steps and confirm me or tell me what is wrong?
Thank you in advance
Hi,
I got my first cellphone with authority rooted in Andriod 5.x hereafter I switched on Andriod 6.0.1 after I got him here was rooted in my x axis wrong if I left then he clicks it up right ( Q is p on my keyboard) I have no backup or something . I've reset it , and I am currently actually a little desperate.
Does anyone have a solution so ?
It is a s6
Thanks in advance!
Joep
You didn't mention how you updated, but it doesn't sound like you did it officially. You should download the original firmware and flash via Odin. It'll wipe the phone so make sure to back up everything you need somewhere safe. If you rooted via a custom kernel that wasn't for your variant of S6, that might have caused this issue.

I updated with Odin and rooted with Odin. Do you have a link for the original software?
Device SM-920f Netherlands
Well which firmware did you use? Which file to root? Did you have the issue after the firmware update or root?
Hello to the forum,
I'd like to root my Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet (SGP771). When I bought it on eBay, it had firmware Android 7.1.1 (SGP771_32.4.A.1.54_1295-6955_Customized-DE), so I have to downgrade it to Lollipop or Marshmallow to use the "Dirty Cow" exploit, being able to backup my TA-partition.
I tried several Stock ROM's (Android 5.0.2, Andoid 6.0.1) which had another customization than DE. And after flashing the keeps rebooting in the "Starting Apps" sequence (just after showing the "Android"-logo). And I don't know, what causes this behaviour because I used only stock ROM's and the Bootloader is locked and haven't been unlocked before (DRM keys are still intact). And when reflashing the Android 7.1.1 firmware this strange behaviour is gone...
So I think I really have to downgrade to a Customized-DE Lollipop-/Marshmallow-firmware to be able to backup my TA-partition.
So can someone provide my with a download link of a SGP771_28.0.A.8.260_1295-6955_Customized-DE (or as alternative: SGP771_32.1.A.1.301_1295-6955_Customized-DE) stock ROM?
Thanks in advance and regards

Hi. I have a GTmedia (freesat) G2 box with android 7.1.2, but it comes with what looks to be a fairly generic s905w setup, and I’m wondering if anyone has flashed a custom rom on one of these successfully? (and what the process was if so)
Tbh I can’t even find an original firmware from the vendor.
Any assistance is appreciated!!
