I've tried so many times here to get at least a response... Perhaps devs at xda have finally realised, goole are defo creating problems.
I know my stuff, I've flashed hundreds of android phones and tablets, but never have I seen solving a problem, and providing solutions disappear so fast.. Android 10 sux. Random macs destroy firewall security... but hey..
Tried so many times to flash the Armour x5, and know how to use all flash tools. Restored to origional provided rom, but imei was wrong, and got the GoogleKeyState: Fail, used sn write tool to do imei, worked.
So in testing, Imei went back to incorrect one, reflash origional firmware again, only this time, TEE PL error -3, now, I cant use serial writer to do anything, it wont write, yet all in testing is 'normal'
At no point have I messed with anything other than trying to put twrp on this phone, and always extracted a fresh firmware to flash when not happy with tests. To date I have yet to place a sim in this brand new phone.
seems we can do what we want until they get a wiff of our hacks, then they block them.
So yup I'm asking help to root my android 10 Armour x5, I'm testing, but no-one else seems to wanna input anymore, anyone wanna help me help them?
Well, finally managed to get rid of the GoogleKeyState: Fail, as well as correcting the imei's, a rather long drawn out process when no-one knows what they're doing anymore, I guess ya just got to love the old time hackers huh?
To be rid of big red GoogleKeySTate: Fail
Load up SNWrier_1828-4.0.0-vturkey select attestation file, found in extracted firmware, the google folder, select google attest key, make sure all else is unchecked then write, succesfull, gets rid of the big red ****.
Changing imei:
Tried with bootloader locked, then bootloader unlocked...
Using SNWrier_1828-4.0.0-vturkey: Looked like it wrote, got the green tick, upon rebooting phone, wrong imei's were still there, it did not write succesfully. Same with serial numbers.
Used Maui Meta build 9.1724.0.00, on left, select imei download, read from device, (1st box on left) only input the first 14 digits of your 15 digit imei, the last digit of each imei is the checksum, and loads automatically (if you dont increment macs) hit write, shut down the app gracefully, it turns fone off, upon restart, imei was fixed.
Thanks for the lack of help all you experienced folks waiting on us less qualified to wreck our fones so you can profit by reading how we did what..
I got more help from lesser site's..
Not bumping old threads, just keeping at least one up to date with my ever so slow progress..
Still no joy finding any twrp for this fone, but I did find out how to remove all the forced bloatware on the fone, by doing:
pm uninstall --user 0 com.google.android.apps.wellbeing
...and on and on till i got rid of it all, showing you dont need root to remove the apps that are locked to all apk's... surely this 'PM' can be used to grant access to su somehow? I know it can grant, but I know nothing of this layout in 10_Q, even after reading so much crap from others who clearly have as much a clue as I do... and they write apps lol...
I also managed to change the firmware, I swapped Android_10_Q and managed to load the firmware for the x5 PRO, a different fone, different firmware, yet it loaded, and worked 100%, but I went back to the 10_q in order to figure out more, as the pro had way more partitions, and there was NO system viewable compared to the 10_q, which at least can be grep'd.
As for the big red googlekeystate:fail, dont flash preloader when flashing anything! When I flashed the pro android over 10_q, I flashed the preloader of pro and it bricked the fone... I had to wait until fone was out of power before I could load up the writer to reflash 10_q, had to redo the macs and serial, which incidently, for those not knowing, BARCODE is the serial number if you need to revert to stock mac n serial using attestation key. Flashed Pro again and then back to 10_q without causing big red crap by not flashing preloader!!
Now as for those numpties that cant decide if we are using A/B or A only partitions, dont write apps if you cant get it right, your sacked?! One look at the preloader when loaded in SP Flash Tool clearly shows 2 boot sections!!!!!!! Treble checker does what? Lie and cause so many headaches...
Now if i had a twrp for either 10_Q or Pro variant of the ulefone armour x5....

Ok, so I have a serious problem... My phone is locked and when I touch the text bar to enter the password, no keyboard comes up. Important information:
- I just upgraded to jelly bean (the official one that came out today)
- as far as I can tell, everything is working fine, i just can't unlock it
- when I touch the text bar, it makes a noise, but no keyboard comes up
- was working fine immediately after the upgrade
- I got done fixing some settings and locked the screen
- this may have something to do with changing the default keyboard to Google Keyboard (it was acting a little funny immidiately after, like it was crashing)
- I have Android Lost installed, the unlock function isn't working, but others do work
- phone is encrypted
Unless someone has some ideas for me within the next couple hours, I'm going to wipe the phone. Obviously, I would prefer to not do that.
==========================
EDIT:
I've managed to use Android Lost to make some backups of some stuff, but I'm still trying to figure out how to unlock the screen. I've found that I'm able to install apps remotely from google play if that gives gives anyone some ideas.
=============================
EDIT2:
I had another idea. If this is a problem with the keyboard, is there a way for me to change it remotely? Can I install another one via the store?
Alright... I gave up on trying to get passed the lock screen and tried doing a factory reset. I was afraid of the super brick issue, so instead of doing a wipe in recovery mode, I used Kies to reflash it. However, that did nothing. The phone started back up and acted like nothing happened. It asked me for the same password, then got to the lock screen and had the same keyboard issue.
I've tried various roms, but nothing seems to wipe the encrypted information properly. At some point, I got it to forget the password, but it still thinks that one exists. I even rooted it and tried shostock3, but when it boots, it asks for a password. The old password doesn't work, so I can't get passed it. I tried entering the "wrong" password many times and it said it would wipe the phone, but it just restarted to the SAMSUNG boot screen and just sat there. I pulled the battery after half an hour...
I should note that stock gingerbread seems to work fine...
Does anyone have any ideas on how to wipe the encrypted data?
If you can push apps to it, try pushing an app like no lock or something.
Short answer: No.
It is probable that encryption information is stored in the efs (encrypted file system) folder. That's where the imei and other critical stuff is stored. I don't believe anyone who posts here in the I777 forum really has a grasp on how phone encryption works though. I've only seen one other person post here who had an issue with an encrypted phone, and he was unable to solve his problem as far as I know.
If you have a proper backup of the efs partition from before the phone was encrypted, it is possible that you could solve the problem by restoring that partition. But I'm not even sure you could write to that section of the phone memory with adb with the phone in it's current state. Edit: if you can boot into stock gingerbread normally, then you can restore an efs backup, if you have one.
I'm guessing you could send it to Samsung and they could fix it for you probably.
I finally got it working. I'm not sure what combination of things did it, but I had to restore it to stock jelly bean (via kies) to get it to wipe the encryption. I guess the stock rom knows how to properly wipe it when you keep entering the wrong password. After I got it all cleaned up, I put shostock3 back on. When the battery charges back up, I'm going to try encrypting it again (in shostock).
However, now I found another issue (may or may not be a real problem). I wanted to check if the phone was still unlocked, so I dialed *#SIMLOCK# and it says "Connection problem or invalid MMI code."
Tada!
Creepy, my good friend, would be referring to me and as you know SCIU I didn't ever get it to unlock the phone. Oddly enough a stock ICS rom (my mom now has my phone right up the road so I may try this to see if it will work and then go back to ShoStock3) works fine. I have nothing hidden from the phone storage, everything shows up, it is actually unlocked and rooted though not a custom bios err firmware/ROM because when that is put on there the encryption issues come back and the password is asked for. If the correct password is entered (and my KEYBOARD comes up but I didn't change it from the Android/Samsung one) it proceeds to enter whatever it is supposed to (my guess is the POST area like on a computer when it is entering Windows/Linux, etc.) but the screen stays black (ShoStock logo doesn't even appear if I remember correctly or it does show then goes to black loading screen with the Samsung logo and that is it, perm stuck). However I did try flashing back to Gingerbread ROMs and ICS ROMs though not through official KIES.
SCIU I may have to give this a try if my mom don't mind it and see if that helps fix the problem. Thanks for starting this thread. I am sorry I didn't respond to the PM you sent me (my LGOG, Triple OG, OG, TRIPLE OG, Optimus G AT&T Phone has screen cracked twice and is unresponsive on two different phones so I sent that in to warranty repair [rapid heating and cooling issues]) and haven't been on XDA for a week. If there is anything else you need to ask or bounce ideas off of me then I am all for it.
As far as encryption goes, the process works the same as any other encryption algorithms used (MD5/HASH/SHA-!, etc.) using a basic replica of most file systems although mobile storage tends to work a tad differently. Unfortunately, the freezer trick, brute force, nor any other cracking methods I was able to try at home worked to get it to open up. I tried getting into the EFS area of the phone but never could get to the directory or have it display.
Again thanks SCIU and as I stated I may give this a try if my mom don't care.

You can get the full stock jelly bean Odin flashable tar in the Download Repository. See link in my signature. According to sciguy125, flashing stock jb and then inputting repeatedly the wrong password will clear it. I'm not sure how many times it takes, 5 or 10 I think. I've never worked with an encrypted phone. I'm just repeating what I have read others say. I've seen the above posted by at least one other person. You should be able to flash the stock firmware using Odin. The one you want is I777UCMD8

Friend, this is the forum for the S2 (Samsung), so you won't find anything about Huawei devices here - best to ask your question in the forum for your device.
That being said if you are rooted and have a custom recovery, simply power the device off and boot into recovery and perform a factory reset from there. If that doesn't work do a full wipe (this means wiping /system), then re-flash the ROM/gapps.
me too!!! do you have some tips for me?? i almost fainted when i knew that the keyboard isnt working.... i do have a lot of important files in my phone.
Easy, you fools! JUST KIDDING lol Connect an external keyboard. Restart the phone with the keyboard plugged in and you'll have one chance to input the pass every time you restart. Good luck, bosses!

I got the same problem but everything on my phone is fine except it doesn't let me enter the password I dnt wanna factory reset it cause I got important pictures in it any suggestions on how to get my keyboard working.
Solution that worked for me
Hello all,
I usually don't post things around, but something told me to do this, since I don't see any threads talking about this solution.
My solution was the following:
Went to google play store on my computer via chrome. Logged in to the user attached to my play store and re-installed all keyboard apps I have.
That worked beautifully and hope this helps other people!!
Ok, first of all, I take full responsibility and made some really stupid mistakes. I consider myself an experienced Android user and have been flashing ROMs and radios since the OG Droid.
I am, however, new to Samsung/Touchwiz, and made an error I'm trying to determine if I can repair.
I have not flashed any custom ROMs on the Note 2, but I was unlocked/rooted with CASUAL. I was having some issues with my proximity sensor and my capacitive button lights, and decided to ODIN back to stock. Here is where I screwed up, I think. Instead of flashing like normal, I think I want a completely clean slate, and I checked Nand Erase. I know, please don't bash me, the brick sitting on the table is punishment enough. I was thinking of erasing backups, as in Nandroid (Nand) backups.
Well, everything flashed as normal and the phone bootlooped. No biggie, booted into Recovery, and it gave the warning it couldn't mount the /data partition. I did a factory reset from stock recovery, and everything seemed fine. The phone booted correctly, but it wouldn't activate on Verizon. It finally allowed me to skip set up, and I found the dreaded "Unknown" IMEI.
No, I didn't have a back up of the IMEI. I began reading and studying on ways to fix this, and it seemed simple enough, but I couldn't get QPST to recognize my phone so I could repair the IMEI. The computer could see it on COM5, but QPST kept saying No Phone.
I tried a few other methods, including EFS Professional and NV Item Reader/Writer. But everything said it couldn't communicate with the phone. I made sure I had it in the correct mode in the Phone Util hidden menu, checked USB cables, ports, and drivers a hundred times, with no joy.
Then on a whim, I checked my /efs folder with ES File Explorer, and the contents are empty. Not sure how I erased all the contents, but now I'm pretty sure I'm screwed.
I wanted you to know my steps, before I started asking questions.
1. If I can get another working Note 2, is it possible to use a copy of that phone's /efs folder on mine? If I can get QPST to work, I could then use it to inject the correct IMEI back into the folder.
2. Is there anyway anyone here could upload their /efs folder so I can try it?
3. Any suggestions on QPST and getting it to recognize my phone?
4. Am I just completely hardbricked and out of luck?
Thank you.
I know there are other similar threads, and I have searched...a lot. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm missing anything.
Also, I've found some IMEI repair services online that will fix a missing or corrupt IMEI for about $25 plus shipping. Does anyone know of a reputable repair service for this issue? I'm getting somewhat desperate to get this fixed. I'd be willing to pay someone here to fix it as well if you have the know-how and equipment.
Thank you.
Hi,
There are success stories on this issue in xda...would suggest you to read xda articles on this issue.

Hiya
I have an Alcatel Onetouch Pop C1 4015D (and for the record, I'm never buying this brand or similar junk again). I just got it un-bricked after a few months thanks to the online USB firmware updater. It's currently in pretty much its factory-default state again, preinstalled crapware and all.
What I'd like to do is install a custom ROM on it, to have a clean system I can actually enjoy owning, e.g. AOSP (if that is what I think it is: the basic, clean Android system). The problem is that I'm getting a little overwhelmed with information, tutorials linking to more tutorials, tutorials linking to downloads for which I have to "complete a survey" and such (abort abort abort), 2 different tutorials for the same thing stating different ADB commands, a few outright scams, etc etc etc. There's tons of information out there, but 90% of it seems wrong, irrelevant, device-specific or otherwise unusable. I've already spent hours on this and still haven't gotten anywhere.
I'd be very grateful if someone actually reliable could walk me through the entire, correct process, please. :fingers-crossed:
I'm just going to write down the bits and pieces of info I already have:
I've already rooted it with Framaroot; no problems there, superuser works.
I've found this site that lists several ROMs, presumably specifically for the C1, including the standard ROM and a cleaned version: tinyurl dot com/o24wqoe. The AOSP one strikes my fancy and is on my SD card already.
The same site says I can just put the provided ROMs on my SD and install them as updates via stock recovery, but I highly doubt that because I read everywhere you specifically can't do that. Sounds like fake advice to me.
I'm told I'd need to unlock my bootloader, but once in fastboot/bootloader mode none of the offered fastboot unlock commands really do anything. The "..." appears in my console and then nothing.
I've tried installing TWRP and CWM recoveries, but you know, "your device is not supported". There's this video of a C1 with a custom recovery (watch?v=_TGgXIp3fWM) and the comments claim it's CTRecovery, but I can't even find anything about that. I already submitted requests for a fix for my device to twrp and cwm half a year ago before I bricked this thing, and one person promised he was gonna make a build for me, but nothing came from any of that.
I think that's just about all the useful things I can extract from this whole mess of information I have...
Please help me make sense of this overload of info and device-specific shenanigans, and walk me through what seems to be such a simple process for everyone with a mainstream device?
For the record, I'm back down to barely being up-to-date on what is what anymore. I'm more than familiar enough with the theoretical side (bootloaders, partitions, bios, etc) because of my heavy computer usage (professional programmer), but once I get into Android I'm just lost. All that fancy terminology nobody seems to bother to explain, things that are taken for granted but aren't really obvious (like a guy demonstrating the installation of a custom ROM, and only mentioning 10 minutes into the excessively long video that you need to install a custom this and custom that first), so many alternative methods for the same thing that have different dependencies (unlocking bootloader vs custom recovery), etc... I don't know anymore what's device-specific and what isn't, who is telling the truth, what a given tutorial is actually making me achieve in the end, etc. TL;DR I'm lost, I'm not stupid but I'm not gonna pretend to know anything about Android's subsystems anymore at this point.
wow u wrote a full post and u speaked for me as have the same problem
Custom recover
i have made a recovery for the 4015x
and got one of the roms to work
(and a fixed stock recovery)
there are 6 versions of this phone and at least two different partition tables that ive seen
but getting it back from softbrick id use the "mobile upgrade s 4.1.1" from the alcatel site
alcatel, mobiles, all mobiles, pop c1, support and on the right hand side down load the program and follow
this forces a stock rom back on the phone (no root and all data wiped)
im waighting on the mods to let me post links so i can host the roms and recoverys
but if you want to mess with the roms your self you can edit the partition tables and get the roms to install.
id use the app "diskinfo" to check what partitions your system and data etc etc are useing and chainge this in the roms.
hope this helped
p.s. if not i could poss look at editing the aosp rom for you and host if for a bit
just waighting on beeing able to post links :s
Alcatel onetouch c1 pop
MY PHONES flash light or led light comes on but it wont come on at all jus remains black wont start ....i tried restoring rom but ,it was useless ,well i used the upgrade tool and there wasnt the right models for my phone what should i do now .oh and also my phone has no stock rom from nowhere on google im so in need of getting back my phone .how can i fix a bricked or whatever phone its a alcatel one touch pop c1 4015a
What is the online USB firmware updater? Mine is also bricked
Good day guys.. I just recently started facing a problem with my phone and I need help urgently. At first I forgot my mobile anti-theft password and locked myself out when changed my SIM card. I eventually found a solution by flashing my stock rom using sp flash tool (every option was checked). after this was done successfully , I noticed that whenever I force my phone to 3G only (did this using *#*#3646633#*#*> Network selecting) it never shows a single signal bar. But before this, after flashed my phone I had invalid imei so i solved this by using *#*#3646633#*#*( you probably know the rest). Ok let me continue, during this my problem with the 3G only feature, I began to think that this had something to do with my initial invalid imei, so I decided to do a little research and this is when I stumbled upon SN write tool. In order to use this, i thought it was best to return to the invalid imei stage and so I flashed my ROM again with all the options checked. After this my phone would not come on no matter how many times i pressed my buttons, so i just abandoned my phone for like 6 hours and it eventually came on. So i proceeded to changing my imei using SN writ tool, I installed all the drivers the tutorials i saw said said were necessary eg CDC driver, VCOM driver, etc. And this when I noticed my BIG problem which are:
1. I could complete the task
2. My phone could not charge when switched off.
3. My PC can't detect my phone when switched off.
so far I have tried flashing my phone with sp flash tool to no avail and I have uninstalled all the drivers that I installed....
Sorry about the long story please, I need help, I can't get to my care centre exert as a last resort as it is very far from where I stay. I use a Malata N455 (also known officially as Malata M6 in my country). It runs on Android 5.1 lollipop and Mt6580 chipset. THANK YOU. PS: I can't enter recovery mode cuz no button combination has ever worked for me.
I'm still a big fan of 1-800#s and that's why I always sign an at&t contract even though I don't need to. I'm sure you took out battery not that I know what this will do.I do miss uscellular! No sim card but I did manage to mess that up being curious wondering fee what's A band and B band and found out real fast It said if you want to make a collect call when I opened it.

First to all: Hi, im kinda new on Xda and also im new on this phone stuff, but i have i problem i dont know what to do now without going to a shop to fix it.
My problem is this: 2 months ago i got a new phone with 512 ram, it was soo slow but with a good proccesor, i could not use The ram expander because a license issue so i start to root it.
I was experienced before with this.
I tried to root it with many apps... none of them worked, until i found magisk manager, then i found another problem, the stock rom of my phone its not aanywhere, and where is it, its a password protected Zip.
I thing it was over to me, but then i discover an app called "Miracle Box", after 1 week of research of how to do a backup of my rom i finally could do it, i could root it and everything was fine. (By the way thanks to the creators of MagisK)
Then i discover than those Phones came with a malware, my mom has another phone 1Gb ram version and has the same malware.
I discover the malware is inside System ui, or is camuflated like that.
I look it with game guardian, on the proccess list, appear system ui apk, and system ui (assis) when i close by force the system ui apk, Graphic interface reload, but when i kill system ui (Assis) the virus stops inmediatly.
The malware is something called Game Box, popups with ads, weird notificacions, and i discover it uses a lot of internet, A lot.
My plan was of 2Gb, the malware uses 1Gb, when you have no internet the malware is open ut with no ads and notifications.
I discover cleaning data of system ui with lucky patcher and force detention stops the malware for a while.
Then i dont remember what did i do, but one day the phone boot and theres a black screen. No Nova Launcher, no system ui, there were nothing.
So i tried to write the system with miracle box, and after discover always i have to click preloader i finally unbrick it.
Now i have another problem, i tried to Odex system ui with lucky patcher, and there was not classes.dex and because of that the process got stop, and system ui started to stop too.
later on stock recovery of system (Yes, Mtk Droid tools dont recognize my phone, if i have cwm none of this happens.) i realize system ui.odex got deleted, and i am on another Country.
And my dad dont know how to send it because he think miracle box has a trojan because its a paid program.
So my backup its on another Country... and my phone its bricked on a black screen with a message "Unfortunely because you are stupid, system ui stopped and u have a nice brick", i tried to factory reset and that was my worst mistake.
Later i discover miracle box has an option to delete viruses on system folders, so i delete system ui.apk and the phone finally got unstock of that black screen, and it was factory, tere was another problem.
I deleted a lot of apps (most of google) and the phone just says:
Just a sec. And i can pass there, if i dont factory reset maybe i could have a phone without system.ui while my dad comes here.
Then i started for search again for a Twrp reccovery for my phone, and i found 5.
I flash it everyone but none of them worked, and then phone cloud start, but the recovery does not work, then i found a recovery maded to flash on miracle box.
It says Twrp 3.02 for Lava iris, so i tried to flash it with my preloader and my scatter file, it dont work, then i tried to flash it with the scatter and preloader on the folder, and my phone got on a Hard brick.
It dont boot, dont start on recovery, dont charge the battery, is dead, but i think im not ****ed up.
When i connect my phone to computer and press the boot key and then connect the usb cable, the computer recognize it, miracle box does not, but the computer recognize it as a android modem and i think its my last hope, look:
drive.google.com/file/d/1L4Kzac2boQ2fxNW4rYZVEPhFXuvHnqbT/view?usp=sharing
If i change the driver to Mtk Usb device (which is the only compatible) first i have to press the boot key long time (20 secs)
And the computer says the usb is not recognized because the firmware do not gave the requerided resources.
If i keep pressing the boot key the phone started to be recognized for 10 seconds and then its like disconnected, i stop pressing boot key and every 10 seconds the phone (MTK USB DEVICE) appears, if i start writing the flash on miracle box it stops disappearing every 10 seconds and the miracle box start downloading boot, the the app hangs and says this boot its not suported or cpu bad, select another boot, and i dont know what to do, if i manually change the driver again to preloader or mediatek usb, miracle says: Connecting to phone and dont happpens anything.
So these are my problems, because if i get the healthy backup of the phone when my dad comes here, or if i finally get the stock rom, how i flash it?
Another question: if i get official Stock rom, it does not matter if my phone is 512 ram? Because i realize the 1Gb version is same phone, the only diferences i look its the boot animation its a little different and hspa frequency are different, also the other has 1gb ram, its that a problem?
Sorry if my message was too long, but i really need help, im 15 years old, and if my dad look that i dont know how to flash it with my backup... you understand, i dont want to disappoint him, and dont want he to pay a technician.
If you have the Stock rom, or if you have any form to help me how to proceed, please say it to me.
By the way, my phone is An Energizer Energy S500E
Android 6.0
Mtk 6580.
Rooted with MagisK
Bootloader unlocked.
Sorry for my bad english, i hope you give me an answer to procced:laugh:
