[Debloat] Disable any apps and bloatware using ADB AppControl - Huawei P40 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi friends!
I built a list of applications, that can be safely disabled, for Huawei P40.
Especially for my new program - ADB AppControl.
This is very usefull program for managing applications on andoid devices. With it you will forget about the ADB command line, and get the opportunity to disable and remove bloatware with an easy-to-use graphical interface. It will help you get rid of unnecessary junk like bloatware and save battery energy. Works great with Huawei smartphones.
You can choose which applications to disable when you load it into the program. If you disable something wrong, you can easily enable it again. Also, you can create your own presets and share them with other users in this topic.

[Q] Remove Notification Icon

This icon appears whenever my data allowance has been used up. My network who are usually useful with things like this were otherwise on this occasion.
My phone is rooted with CM and terminal editor. Although I've not well versed in terminal editor I can follow instructions, like adding read/write to the system folder so I could delete system apps.
Any help in the matter is greatly appreciated.

Not sure entirely which app controls that, but you can find out by long pressing on the notification drawer then choosing App Info - should have the option to uncheck notifications. Unless it's system app that doesn't have that option. Then you could look into using the Xposed Framework and something like this: http://repo.xposed.info/module/de.defim.apk.notifyclean

[SHARE] Ghost Push Trojan Android Virus Killer Windows Program (using adb shell)

I want to share a program that could easily detect, kill and protect from annoying Ghost Push Trojan Android Virus with friendly user interface. I have tested many times on my customers' phones and so far so good. This virus may persist even if you flash firmware. But this tiny tool will save your device from that Virus. Busybox will also be installed because it is needed to execute required scripts.
Turn on USB Debugging
Plug the phone
Run Software
Authorize incoming usb connection
Choose any action from tool
Root Access is Required!

Most powerful adblock app with manual filter list insertions

I have grown used to adding manual filters to kill all the pesky ads on Desktop via AdBlock. However, on Android, AdAway is not as powerful in the sense that I cannot select elements to block immediately when browsing, and the manual filter list is not as sophisticated (only plain URLs and not down to the JS or other elements).
Would like a recommendation as to which will be the closest thing to what we can enjoy on the desktop when it comes to ad-blocking.
Sample of screenshot below that shows Adaway enabled but still with tons of ads blocking my browsing of the article:

anybody please?
Use a basic adblocking hosts file, then add things with this https://forum.xda-developers.com/an...script-aditor-easily-edit-hosts-file-t3514421
is it compatible with the filters I add on AdBlockPlus? doesn't look like the case...

[Q] How to get and set aplication permissions runtime.

Hi everyone.
I write a some application that use screen casting.
Every time I rebuild my app I need to upload app to phone to debug. And always, when I test screen casting part of my app I need to make request and allow it for this application to give access to MediaProjection. After I rebuild app I need again allow this access (can't store it because application deleting and uploadin a new one whil debug).

}
So i found AppOps application, that can allow this permission programmatically, as I click it on permission appearing in runtime. So I understand, that I can do it programmatically in start of my rebuilded app in runtime.
So question: how can I get this functional in android framework ? Which methods and mechanics I must use to achieve this goal?
