AppGallery Connect's crash service monitors version quality in real time and detects live app crashes. When it identifies a major issue with an app, it immediately sends email and message notifications to the developers.
Kooky is a picture and video editor. It currently has over 10 million users from all around the world. Kooky's developer integrated AppGallery Connect's crash service so that it can be notified as soon as crashes occur. The crash service precisely shows where crashes occur in the code, and provides logs and device information to help the developer quickly solve issues and considerably reduce their crash rate. According to the developer of Kooky, the app's crash rate has been reduced to 0.07%.
These success stories demonstrate how AppGallery Connect can help your apps achieve success. Sleep Sounds&Remote Configuration:App Usage Increased 8%, User Engagement Up by 10%
Original link: https://forums.developer.huawei.com/forumPortal/en/topicview?tid=0202330121636770035&fid=0101188387844930001
Sleep Sounds is an app which provides lullabies and natural white noise to help users get to sleep. The developer wanted to add the functionality to recommend personalized content to users, but didn't want to incur the costs and hassle of releasing new updates.
Usually, every change made to an app requires developers to release a new update, even if the only thing that's changed is the icon. This means users constantly need to update apps. So how can developers improve user experience without disturbing users? Sleep Sounds got around this by using AppGallery Connect's remote configuration service. With this service, the developer can make changes to the app's behavior by modifying configurations on the cloud. Thanks to AppGallery Connect, Sleep Sounds can now recommend tracks to users based on their country, age, gender, and more after obtaining user authorization, so they can enjoy more tailored audio content. In just two weeks, Sleep Sounds saw an 8% increase in usage, and a 10% increase in user engagement.

Is your app at risk due to user device tampering? Is it being targeted by man-in-the-middle attacks when accessing public Wi-Fi networks? Or is it redirecting users to inappropriate websites? If so, how can you fix these issues?
HUAWEI Safety Detect can help. It provides you with a range of functions: SysIntegrity, WifiDetect, UserDetect, AppsCheck, and URLCheck. With these functions at your disposal, you can prevent malicious attacks to your app and quickly build security capabilities.
Safety Detect is useful whether your industry is finance, e-commerce, news, media & entertainment, or something else entirely. When you integrate the service, your app will be able to determine whether the device it's running on is secure, prevent attacks from malicious Wi-Fi networks, and check whether it is interacting with a real user.

SymptomMy app submitted for review was rejected by Huawei
because the “serviceCatalog:X6” error was discovered for payments. I have checked my test environment by referring to the guide: connected to Wi-Fi, used Android and EMUI versions complying with the specifications, and used the environment in English.
Handling suggestions: Change the value of serviceCatalog so it is the same as the app category, and do not use the X6 value for your app.
Solution
Check whether you have called the GetBuyIntentWithPrice API. If so, check the value of serviceCatalog based on this material.
Note: The GetBuyIntentWithPrice API has been brought offline, so this may not be the cause.
Check your enabled service APIs.
If you have not called the API, see this material to check your enabled services.
If your app is not a game, do not enable Game Service.

I then disabled Game Service and submitted my app for review, and my app was approved. I hope that this post is helpful to you.

It started with an introduction to Pico-8 development. During the live broadcast, Giorgio Pomettini walked viewers through how to create a game using the platform, and then have it exported into HTML5 format in a matter of minutes. Such games are accessible to potential users.
Francesco Stranieri, our Developer Technical Support Engineer (DTSE), outlined the abundant opportunities offered by the HUAWEI AppGallery platform for game developers. He detailed some of the capabilities that are most useful for helping developer monetize their apps, including HUAWEI In-App Purchases, Ads Kit, and Game Service, and also presented on the HMS Core solution for Unity.

On the AppGallery Connect console you will find two areas that display quality data, on the surface they look the same.
One is Quality analysis under App analytics > Analyze, which covers Quality Overview, Crashes and ANRs, Launches and freezes, and Power consumption.

The other is Quality in My Projects, under which there are Crash, APM and other services.
If we take a look at the documentation concerning Quality analysis and Quality.
We can see that SDK integration is not required for accessing data in Quality analysis. However, this applies only to some apps. However SDK integration is required for accessing data in Quality. This also applies to iOS apps.
The differences between the two types of analytics can be described as:
Quality AnalysisOnly supported on Huawei devices with EMUI. No SDK integration is required as the data is collected directly by the devices operating system. The data is owned by Huawei and app developers are provided with this data about their apps.
QualityAll apps and platforms are supported (Android, iOS, hybrid frameworks). However SDK integration is required. The SDK collects the data and this data is owned by the application itself.
