Good afternoon
I came across a certain challenge with my Samsung Galaxy S6 edge
after I had updated it to android 7.0
it developed a network error
In the process of trying to fix that problem, the phone got bricked
now it displays “an error has occurred while updating the device software. Use the emergency recovery function in Smartswitch pc software” which I tried but didn’t work
neither did using Odin 3
which I had originally upgraded it with.
when I tried to put it into download mode
it just freezes on the screen and doesn’t go beyond the “Volume up to enter download mode” “volume down to cancel” option
Please help
I’ve watched countless YouTube videos and nothing has worked
I’ve run out of options
your quick response will be highly appreciated

Good morning
I have a serious problem my phone which is a Samsung Xcover 2 Model GT-S7701L cannot boot after I tried to root it.I can however access the download mode but not recovery.I have tried multiple things such as this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2204889&page=6
Look the first post by Veimus
I have the exact model and now when it boots there is a static screen then the logo for some weird reason a Samsung Galaxy home screen that then fades into glitched imagery. The device is still recognized by Odin thank god and it can still charge so it is recognize by the computer. So it is not a complete hard brick where the phone is dead.Earlier my phone had the boot loop glitch after I tried rooting it from the instructions in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40232503&postcount=45
So I searched for hours to find a solution and then I found one on youtube and realized it was the wrong software and thats when the logo wouldnt stop. Now I tried Veimus method and my phone can only enter download mode.
I would love some help for me if possible.

Hi, new to the forums and i was wondering if someone was able to assist me with my Tab 3... Model # SM-T210R
I recently tried (rooting) my device using Odin, and everything says it went successful but when i attempt to turn it on, it is stuck on the loading screen saying "Samsung Galaxy Tab 3" and it does nothing but sit there...I think thats considered bricked? Im new to all of this so if anyone can assist me, Thanks
I was also looking for a factory ROM(i think there called) so i can reset the device back to normal, cant seem to find one without running into download websites asking for registration. Thanks
I accidently bricked my phone and i tried everything on XDA. So i basically wiped completely everything on my phone including all the advanced options in advanced wipe this includes internal storage, system and USB OTG and the rest(using teamwin recovery). Now my phone just comes up with the samsung galaxy s6 startup screen. I have tried to flash custom roms onto my device. However it still says that my phone has no OS on it. I recently figured out my potential build number too, as i before had no way of finding out.
NOTES: The only things i have access to are recovery mode and download mode. I have no backups.
Thankyou for your help
Download the firmware for your variant of S6 and use Odin to install while in Download Mode. Tons of tutorials and information in the forums here for your phone.
If that's over your head, use Samsung's Smart Switch for PC and use the emergency recovery option.
I would recommend getting familiar with Odin though if you want to play with your phone. It's a great tool and will be able to fix most any issue like this.
Dear all,
I bought a used Galaxy Player 4.2 (international version) and tried to install CWM Recovery by using Odin. I've waited a long time, but Odin was completely stuck at the step 'SetupConnection'. I disconnected and restarted the device. This was a huge mistake, I think.
Everytime when I turn on the player a message appears and keeps on the screen - 'Firmware upgrade encountered an issue' - even when I try to boot in Download Mode.
I tried to flash 'YP-G1FullRestoreIntl2.3.6.tar' which I found here, but no chance. Odins tells me that it was not possible to finish the operation. Hrmpf!
Any ideas what I can do to bring my Galaxy Player back to life or is this the end?
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Simon
Anyone?
I had my galaxy s7 rooted, decided to unroot it today which lead to some issues. I've been trying to solve them all night, but couldn't find a way to do so, maybe you guys can help. The issue is basically that after I've chosen the " unroot " option on SU, my device didn't reboot at all, the android logo was just showing, then disappearing and showing up again, so I pressed home+volup+lock and tried factory reset - didn't help. Since then I was trying to connect my phone on pc, got myself a new firmware so I thought I'll just fix it through odin, but my phone is not being detected by PC, and no, the issue is not USB cable, I tried connecting my brothers phone which is identical to mine and it's being detected just fine. So I'm literally sitting here with a phone that can't be booted, stuck on " DOWNLOADING " blue screen and yet I can't find a way to get it show up on my windows PC. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
