Hi everyone, I successfully rooted my Redmi Note 9 Pro (Joyouse) with Twrp and magisk, after playing a while suddenly my screen freeze and then got crazy, opening several apps, I reboot the phone and got this screen, maybe the root messed up the phone files and must flash again the stock rom? I attach the screen I have after I reboot the phone

hi tech gurus, am having problem with this device, the device details are:
name: leagoo m8 pro
Android version: 6.0
ram:2GB
ROM:16Gb
chip: Mt6737M
processor:armv7
SDK:23
HOW THE PROBLEM STARTED
on the night of the day I bought the phone I decided to root it because I wanted to change the font and of course use xposed modules, I successfully rooted the phone, changed font successfully with ifont, now the only left is to install xposed framework, so I read all the info at the xposed thread, to know more about my device I downloaded CPU z, and mobile uncle, which said my device arm version is just arm.
I down xposed flashable zip in the arm category, which is v87, and it's The latest their till now.
I flash the zip file, everything went successfully via twrp v3.1.1 then I clicked reboot, phone switched off came on and displayed the white leagoo text, it was stucked there for like 12mins I coudnt wait any longer, so I removed and inserted the battery booted into twrp and wiped the cache, data, system and davilk cache, nvram, and click reboot but twrp said no ROM installed.
Guys I have no other option thab to flash the stock ROM, which I did, am sure I did it the right way, I used
sp flash tool v5.1
leagoo freemos V3.06(downloaded from leagoo website)
after flashing it showed green good mark, I rebooted the phone, as soon as the setup screen appeared the phone rebooted again..... till it long enough to allow me finish the setup.
guys as am typing with the phone am still experiencing the rebooting problem.
sometimes it will just random reboot,
or music will crack and reboot especially when the screen is off.
I have tried every thing I could, such flashing custom recovery even flashing earlier official stock ROM of the phones all to no avail
pls tech gurus help me, I just bought this phone
the highest up time I ever got on this phone is just 9 hours
thanks
Hello everyone, i checked a lot on internet and on the forum, but anyone has my phone or had the same problem
So, i have a xiaomi mi note 3 with the last global stable 9.5.3.0, miui 9.5 the bootloader was unlocked with the official way
I wanted to root the phone so i downloaded 4 different twrp because some of them just didn't work, i couldn't do nothing, the touch didn't worked or just the phone doesn't responde at all.
So, i found the twrp version that it works, i copied supersu on the main phone's directory and reboot the phone in twrp mode
and here the first problem.
I could find nothing, twrp says i have 0 bytes
i didn't touched anything in twrp setting, so i tryed with a data wipe and my phone got a soft brick
i flashed my rom again, unlocked the bootloader, installed the twrp again and again, 0 bytes
i tryed to wipe data again, soft brick again
Tired of that i just flashed again the rom and actually my bootloader is locked, cuz bored to do the first set up over and over
I really hope someone can help me
Sorry for my english, i know it's bad but it's not my first language
Anyone can help me ?
So, finally i solved the problem
I hope it will help ppl that they have my same problem
As i said i have xiaomi mi note 3 with miui 9, with the global rom 9.5.3.0 Stable, the only one twrp that it works on my phone is the last, 3.2.1-0 version
After i flashed twrp with fastboot it just asked me a password, and nobody knows what password it's needed, just skip that and press cancel
After that i couldn't find magisk or supersu in my internal storage cuz it said i had 0bytes on it, so i did a wipe data but after that the phone got softbricked
So i just pressed volume + and power button to get inside twrp again and now my storage was fixed, so i connected the phone at the pc and i copied magisk inside the internal storage
I flashed it and reboot my phone, it tooks about 5 - 10 minutes so it started the first setup again
After that magisk was finally on my homescreen, i downloaded root checker and it said my device was properly rooted
I'm using Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus (SM-G965F) (Android Pie 9.0) and I rooted my phone by using Magisk, after that I cannot setup PIN or pattern. After I setup PIN/pattern and I go to add biometrics screen, when I confirm my PIN/pattern, there's a popup tell me that "PIN/pattern is incorrect."
How I root my phone ?
1. Flash stock Android Pie firmware via Odin
2. Flash TWRP recovery
3. Boot into TWRP
4. Wipe data
5. Flash RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip
6. Flash no-verity-opt-encrypt-samsung-1.0.zip
7. Flash kernel ElementalX-S9-2.01.zip
8. Flash root file Magisk-v18.0.zip
9. Reboot
Did I do something wrong ?
OMG! Finally I've found someone reporting the same issue! My situation is a bit different, but the result is the same as yours. I have a Samsung Galaxy S9 (SM-G960F), and here are a few things worth noting:
I flashed the latest Pie-based firmware for the LUX-region from updato.com through ODIN
I flashed twrp-3.3.0-0-starlte.img.tar through ODIN
I tried flashing both no-verity-opt-encrypt-samsung-1.0.zip and no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip, and I flashed RMM-State_Bypass_Mesa_v2.zip
I did not flash a custom kernel
Finally, I flashed Magisk v19.2.zip
Everything seemed to work just fine (during my limited time on Pie), but I encountered the same weird behaviour as you when trying to set up my fingerprint. If I dared to reboot my phone after that, it got stuck in some weird loop where the SIM unlock screen will show for a split second, and then turn off again for a moment. That pattern was repeated continuously, and sometimes it rebooted itself. I could basically not get back into my phone.
Please, PLEASE, tell me you've figured this out!? Or if not you, then somebody else. For now, I've restored the backup I made through TWRP prior to flashing Android Pie, so I'm back to a rooted version of Android Oreo. I'll probably stay there unless I have a solution for this problem, cause I just can't see myself using my phone without root access.
The joys of being a power user...
Same problem
I'm using a Samsung S9 (SM-G9600) and my rooting process was quite the same as yours. Phone works just fine, but I can't seem to set any kind of lock screen (including fingerprints, which forbids me from using fingerprint unlock on other apps too).
It's Samsung security stuff, you'd have to remove it to be able to use security again.
As to what exactly you need to remove, I'm not really sure.
Anyone got any updates? I got the same problem. I tried removing the *.key files in twrp to reset the Pin. It does work and it resets the pin asking for a new one but when i set it to 0000 and try to register a fingerprint it says the pin is incorrect.
Hello,
I have a Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 and 2 days ago everything worked fine, but I wanted to root my phone and I watched a tutorial to unlock the bootloader and install TWRP. Then I uninstalled TWRP because the superuser root permission gets automatically denied and I read that I need to uninstall TWRP and reinstall it. So I clicked on the "uninstall" button in twrp and I removed the app, then I removed the cache in recovery mode and I also wiped the Dalvik cache and then nothing worked anymore. I tried to start Android and I had to setup the phone again and when I did it to the "Checking for Updated" screen it stucked on the same screen. I waited several hours but nothing happend. Then I tried to install Android 10 with PixelExperience and I stucked in the first screen where the G logo is. I don't know what I have to do. I tried so many diffrent Android versions yesterday and nothing worked, I can not even install Android 9 anymore.
I hope someone can help me.
Solved
Never mind I fixed it by following the toturial on c.mi.com/oc/miuidownload/detail?guide=2

I flashed a Redmi 5 plus with lineage 17 successfully then i rooted it. I wanted to install Revolut and other banking apps but they don't work with root so tried to unroot but was not possible as it got corrupted so reflashed it back to stock rom android 8.1 and worked fine.
I tried again to flash Lineage 17, 16 and also Paranoid Android but each time I boot put the screen turns off. The boot seems to start up but the screen is off.
I reflashed it back to stock rom and it gave me an error on startup saying "Find Device Storage Corrupted, Your Device is Unsafe Now" and keeps rebooting.
Any clues?
