Installing oreo on my Galaxy s9+ - Samsung Galaxy S9+ Questions & Answers

(Not sure if this is a correct category. I'm new here.)
Hi guys,
I bought Samsung galaxy s9+ which already came with android 9.
I want to know if it is possible to install android 8 without rooting? Pie sucks, I cannot use sd card & another sim at the same time.

Downloaded the Oreo Beta on to my Galaxy Note 8 Unable to revert back to Android N

Hello everyone noob over here,
I can't revert back from the oreo beta I downloaded online, I tried using odin, but it won't go past setup connection.
Here's all the info I can provide:
- Android 8.0.0
-Model number: SM-N950U
-Baseband Version: N950USQU2CQL1
Also, it is possibly because I am an idiot since after I downloaded it, it changed my phone from saying xfinity to verizon, but me being an idiot is besides the point. I just want my original certified version of android back please.

Still no Android 7 for my A5 2017 - Custom ROM considered

Hey,
I'm new here so greetings to everyone .
I'm using a SM-A520F (UK import) and it's still on Android 6.0.1.
Basically I'm considering flashing this update with odin but I got some questions first .
My device's baseband version is: A520FXXU1APLL -> Does the BB version matter when I install the new ROM?
Can I install Android software from all countries? (I've read this will work..?)
I found Android 8 for my device on sammobile (AUT Version) with BB version A520FXXU4CRD5.
Would this version work for my phone?
Greetings

Is it possible to install a new stock firmware?

Is there a way to install another (new) stock rom? I honestly don't want to root my new phone and I don't think that bootloader #7 can even be rooted (correct me if I'm wrong). I also read somewhere how only stock roms with the same bootloader number can be installed (correct me if wrong, once again).

My phone came with android pie and I'd like to install oreo on it.

Safely upgrade and downgrade firmware?

Basically, I finally repaired my J6 after the battery expanded some time in 2019. I noticed it was still running Android 8 with Samsung Experience 9. As much as I love Samsung Experience, I would like to see how this phone handles a more modern official version of Android, such as 9 or 10, but the problem is that I'm scared that if I flash a new software then I won't be able to downgrade back to 8. Is it possible to ever downgrade back to 8? The phone is a SM-J600FN running Android 8 (AP: J600FNXXU3ARK3, CP: J600FXXU3ARJ1, CSC: J600FNOBE3ARK3) and the carrier appears to be EE (EVR) Would someone be able to help me to select an early, more recent build of Android for it, such as 9?
