Is there a way to install another (new) stock rom? I honestly don't want to root my new phone and I don't think that bootloader #7 can even be rooted (correct me if I'm wrong). I also read somewhere how only stock roms with the same bootloader number can be installed (correct me if wrong, once again).
Baseband version: G965FXXU7CSI6
Phone: Samsung galaxy S9+
Security patch: October 1st 2019
My phone came with android pie and I'd like to install oreo on it.
Thanks in advance

Hello
I flashed the latest firmware available for my S6 edge (SM-G925F) : G925FXXU3DPDP (XEF).
I've never used Android 5.1.1 on my phone and I asks to you if downgrade is possible at this point (latest BL I think) and if yes, how ?
Thanks you for your further replies
Bye.
I Think Once u Flashed The latest Firmware U can't Go back
Because Of bootloader
Bt U can try Download Android LP And boot loader And put Ur phone in Download Mode Flash with odin
i updated on 6.02...
didn´t like it...
flashed back to 5.1.1 stock without problems (odin)
Hello poci,
You were running with which firmware ?
It's easy to go back to lollipop?
I'm reading some comments off people wich say No, ando some less who say Yes.
i made an OTA update from 5.1.1 to 6.0.2... but i didn´t like the battery drain on 6.0.2......(or 6.0.1 i don´t know anymore)
after clean install of 6.0.2....there was no change at all...
then i went back to 5.1.1 by flashing a stock 5.1.1. firmware with odin...no trouble or anything else...
If flash fails, is my device will be hardbricked ???
if you have the right firmware...i would say "no"
so why should it fail?
i used this firmware for my o2 edge
G925FXXU3QOLD_G925FTEF3QOL1_G925FXXU3QOJB_HOME.tar
Beceause newest bootloaders blocks downgrade, you was in which firmware on Marshmallow ?
don´t know exactly...60.1 then
when 6.0.2 blocks downgrade...
Dose anyone have the stock rom for the Alcatel Ideal?
I manged to brick mine by uninstalling some AT&T apps.
did you find a solution?
i also rooted the phone, and trying to do some stuff bricked the device
I feel your pain! Just bricked mine trying to root it. Don't know any way to fix it, unfortunately... just came here to shed tears... :''''(
Have you guys tried hard reset?
http://www.hardreset.info/devices/alcatel/?p=1 Try one of the devices method
I contacted Alcatel regarding this and they are not able to direct me to a stock ROM. Just checking to see if anybody has had any luck, or can another model's ROM be flashed to fix these phones?

The system partition of this ROM is avalbel here:

With only this, phone is not going to boot up for those who are coming from 3.10.49-g3d12fcb or before, you need 3.10.49-g5a229e7 kernel or better. So we request you guy to upload kernel (or boot) 3.10.49-g5a229e7 or better by uploading boot and modem partition who has build id M7JUAJ0 or better

Hello everyone noob over here,
I can't revert back from the oreo beta I downloaded online, I tried using odin, but it won't go past setup connection.
Here's all the info I can provide:
- Android 8.0.0
-Model number: SM-N950U
-Baseband Version: N950USQU2CQL1
Also, it is possibly because I am an idiot since after I downloaded it, it changed my phone from saying xfinity to verizon, but me being an idiot is besides the point. I just want my original certified version of android back please.
Hi All
I don't quite understand how all the different baseband versions work, but I am looking to flash a stock, non-rooted version of Oreo to my AT&T S7.
I've had a look through the forums on the AT&T S7 - and nothing is intuitive. Is there a how to guide I could read? Or could someone point me in the right direction to a build?
Baseband version: G930AUCU4BQA6
Android version: 7.0
Build number: NRD90M.G930AUCU4BQA6
Appreciate the help,
Thanks!
I don't have the specific answer without the same research you'd have to do, but I do know that usually if the base stock OS is available from the carrier for the version you want then it should be fully compatible since it was made for your device.
However, if you mean flashing from another carrier, that is asking for trouble (could brick your device).
(Not sure if this is a correct category. I'm new here.)
Hi guys,
I bought Samsung galaxy s9+ which already came with android 9.
I want to know if it is possible to install android 8 without rooting? Pie sucks, I cannot use sd card & another sim at the same time.
Android: 9
Baseband version: G965FXXU7CSI6
Security patch: October 1st 2019
Any help is welcome. Thanks!
