I feel your pain! Just bricked mine trying to root it. Don't know any way to fix it, unfortunately... just came here to shed tears... :''''(
Have you guys tried hard reset?
http://www.hardreset.info/devices/alcatel/?p=1 Try one of the devices method
I contacted Alcatel regarding this and they are not able to direct me to a stock ROM. Just checking to see if anybody has had any luck, or can another model's ROM be flashed to fix these phones?

Hello,
I am from India and using the HTC One ME Dual Sim.
I tried to root my phone and like a fool flashed the wrong TWRP (recovery) file on my phone.
Now my phone will not factory reset and I am also unable to get OTA updates.
My kind request is if anybody can help me find and flash the official/stock recovery for my HTC One ME Dual Sim so that my phone can return to its original new out of the box condition.
Few details of my phone are as below :
Android Version 5.0.2
HTC Sense Version 7.0
Software Number 1.11.720.8
Fernel Version 3.10.61-gae0e80c and @aabm #1 SMP PREEMPT
Baseband Version 1.1506V24P21.2008.0505_HDTW
Build Number 1.11.720.8 CL555467 release-keys

Hi All
I don't quite understand how all the different baseband versions work, but I am looking to flash a stock, non-rooted version of Oreo to my AT&T S7.
I've had a look through the forums on the AT&T S7 - and nothing is intuitive. Is there a how to guide I could read? Or could someone point me in the right direction to a build?
Baseband version: G930AUCU4BQA6
Android version: 7.0
Build number: NRD90M.G930AUCU4BQA6
Appreciate the help,
Thanks!
I don't have the specific answer without the same research you'd have to do, but I do know that usually if the base stock OS is available from the carrier for the version you want then it should be fully compatible since it was made for your device.
However, if you mean flashing from another carrier, that is asking for trouble (could brick your device).
Dear friends,
I am trying to obtain boot.img to patch via Magisk and root my Samsung SM-J337A.
The problem I face is that after much research I'm still not sure if I found the compatible boot.img for my device.
Originally, the SOFTWARE INFORMATION for my phone is as follows:
*** SOFTWARE INFORMATION
Android version
8.0.0
Samsung Experience version
9.0
Baseband version
J337AUCU3ARJ1
Build number

I wrote it down, but not all of the SOFTWARE INFORMATION. Only the information shown above.
But after a few days my phone received an update.
After update this is the SOFTWARE INFORMATION:

Perhaps I found the ROM for the original software. These are all the file names:
AP_J337AUCU3ARJ1_CL13465503_QB20325568_REV00_user_low_ship_meta.tar.rar
CP_J337AUCU3ARJ1_CP11051172_CL13465503_QB20325568_REV00_user_low_ship.tar.rar

COMBINATION_FAC_FA80_J337AUCU3ARI1_FACFAC_CL13704061_QB19717843_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar.rar
However, for the updated system I only find the combination file. Well, at least that is what I think I found. This is the file name:
COMBINATION_FAC_FA80_J337AUCU4ARK1_FACFAC_CL13704061_QB20833319_REV00_user_mid_noship.tar
I already extracted and patched the boot.img for this latest 4ARK1 combination file, using Magisk. But I'm not sure if it would be compatible.
Can you tell me please?
Id like to know more about this myself as well please pm me

I've dug around for this phone too, and found two options for download, however they both require payment. (Easy firmware) after searching online, I found another, official, and free way that you can get the official firmware for the samsung devices through Samsung's smart switch application. The only problem is that the program will only download the rom if you have a available update on your sm-j337a. I'm up to date with the first android pie update on my sm-j337a. If your still waiting for a patch, I would:
Install smart switch both mobile and pc.
Set preferences to preload roms in pc version (download first, then choose to install)
Copy the rom from user 》 documents》 samsung
If this works, please share the rom. My phone is too updated to test it.

Hello this is an old post but hope it helps.
When you are looking for the boot.img that is compatible with your device you have all the right info just don't know how to read it.
The device is the J337A your after you updated Baseband is J337AUCU4ARL1. To know what bootloader Rev. you are on you count 4 spaces past the model number so J337A UCU4 you are on Rev. 4 so just download the appropriate software for that bootloader and extract the AP file with 7zip you find the boot.img in there.
hope this helps.
Is there a way to install another (new) stock rom? I honestly don't want to root my new phone and I don't think that bootloader #7 can even be rooted (correct me if I'm wrong). I also read somewhere how only stock roms with the same bootloader number can be installed (correct me if wrong, once again).
Baseband version: G965FXXU7CSI6
Phone: Samsung galaxy S9+
Security patch: October 1st 2019
My phone came with android pie and I'd like to install oreo on it.
Thanks in advance
Hello, I would like to update my Bootloader-Unlocked Sony Xperia E5 to the latest firmware (assuming its 37.0.A.2.248) but I cannot find any helpful information online.
I tried using Xperia Companion but it told me that my device is unlocked and I had to get its standard software installed on it to upgrade it, which I could not find any information for.
I saw something on Sony's site about their Flash Tool being able to restore the standard software on a device, but when I tried it out, it would not detect my device (maybe its not supported(tried both system and fastboot)).
Model number: F3311
Android version: 6.0
Android security patch level: "September 5, 2016"
Build number: 37.0.A.2.108
If you need any other information comment down.
