I have a Tab S3 WiFi only LDU, still running Android 7.0.
Can it be reliably flashed to the latest firmware?
If so, how do I figure out which version I need? As it's an LDU, it has no carrier version to pick. Should I just opt for the regional one?
Is the newest firmware substantially better than the original one?

How can I download the latest stock firmware if I buy the AT&T unlocked version and use it in another country? also would I be able to use a custom firmware on it?
You probably can't use any of the custom firmware currently out for International version, the CPU/RAM configuration is different. But you could probably still update the stock firmware using Kies.
Thanks, yea I guess I will be waiting for other developers to tinker with the AT&T firmware and I have to learn how to apply it as I have never used Android before

Yeah, but use this firmware: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=26616 as it is the latest 4.3, compared to the one it is showned it the tutoril, whcih I think it's 4.1. the process it's absolutely the same.
If anyone has a stock sch-r530u (U.S. Cellular) firmware, that would be great! Can't seem to find it on the inter webs.
What firmware does it have currently? I've only been able to find an older version of JB - 4.1.2. I might possibly have another version on my hard drive at home but have not looked into it for a long time so am not sure...

If you have already updated to 4.3, I do not think this file will work.
This is the thing i read DSLR Controller should work with Samsung Galaxy s3 (bought one just to use for this application, doh), but it doesnt work for me. So i thought if i get another firmware perhaps downgrade to 4.1 or such maybe it will work. Question is.
1. Do i need to have my region or can i install a Norway version when my original is Swedish etc, or China or whatever country?
2. Do i need to be aware of my baseband version and only download firmwares with that version?
Edit: Maybe i need to explain. I need a stock firmware that makes DSLR Controller work as is written on their homepage. The stock rom that is on the phone at the moment don't work, and as from what i've understood on their homepage it is supported. So i figure it's a firmware issue.
I have a galaxy tab A sm-t380 and I'm trying to downgrade the firmware from 7.1.1 to 6.0. I looked online and the only firmware I could find was the latest firmware or the second to oldest firmware. Does anyone here know where I can get older firmware for this particular tablet? Any help is much appreciated.

The tablet came out in 2017 so this tablet is too new for offcail 6.0 and this device has no custom roms so I can't help you.
