Hello,
I have a Huawei nova 2 plus and I forgot the pattern lock. I tried some patterns, but my cellphone tell me that "Some features are disabled for security reasons". I search in the Internet and I found that the pattern can be recovered by Gmail. I have access to my Gmail that I had set on my cellphone but the cellphone disabled the internet connection because of the incorrect pattern tries
I contacted to the Huawei for this problem, but they suggest me "Reset Factory". I have some information on my cellphone that I don't like to lost them.
How can I remove the pattern?
Thank you.

I wanted to know if this is a known issue or if other folks can reproduce...
As part of my EAS (Exchange Active Sync for corporate email) policy, I have to set a pin/password for the phone which is required after 30 minutes of inactivity. I found that the password screen easily be bypassed by selecting "Emergency Dial" from the password screen and then canceling/closing the dialer: it brings me right to the home screen.
I assume this has to be a known bug, didn't find any info searching here or google. Can anybody confirm this bug?
Running SCH-I500.EA28, OEM Verizon.
Was it because I didn't say "Please"?
So my friend locked my phone out. I Knew the gmail account linked to the phone but i forgot the password. I resetted the password on a computer but when i enter the new password in the phone it doesn't work.
I tried all my various passwords, including the null and it didn't work.
I don't remember if my phone sends notifications for emails because i only made the gmail account when i bought the phone (therefore it isn't my primary account and no one sends emails to it).
I have wifi connection and also 3g connection on the phone.
I am thinking the gmail account did not sync, therefore my new password isn't working. How can i sync the account, or do i have a workaround on getting this to work?

Hey, try to delete the gmail account, restart your phone, and then re-add your gmail account with your new password. If that doesn't work, I suggest backing up all of your contacts and information onto your computer and then factory resetting the phone so you start with a clean slate.
Hi All,
I'm looking for the iphone password lock style for my Galaxy S II. Basically, in the iphone you basically input 4 digits then it unlocks without the need of pressing OK while in the Galaxy S II, you have to put the 4 digits then you have to press OK. Is there something similar can be made for the Galaxy. Note that I have to make the password lock due to my corporate email requirements.
Thanks in advance,
Would it be possible to use the swipe/pattern lock with your corporate requirements? Because it unlocks without confirmation as soon as you input the correct pattern.

No. I tried to use the pattern and the email wouldn't download until I made the password unlock. Not even the pattern worked. After I set the password, the option for the (Non Option) and the (Pattern) were locked and the status was showing (Disabled by remote phone administrator).
Any ideas?
anyone could have an idea to help?
Yes, ask your corporate IT-guy. If they somehow block you from accessing mail based on lockscreen settings, they should be able to tell you what to do

No it is not possible. For all corporate the password is a must for data security.
There is actually an app but unfortunately works only on HTC specific model called
lockpick but didn't work on my Galaxy S II.
I tried Moxier Mail and i have to input the password only when I get a new mail.
Use Touchdown. You still have to hit 4 digits and Ok but you only have to do it to enter the app not the phone.
Hello friends,
Finding no solutions on the Web and on XDA, I need to ask you one thing :
A really close friend of mine passed away on july 13th after a damn f*cking brutal and quick heartattack. (He did'nt have time to take his phone to call emergencies) :'(
His family tried to unlock his phone to call some of his friends, to get some contacts , recover photos, etc... but unfortunately they could'nt unlock his phone because of a security PIN lock.
I know his SIM Pin code, so I could unlock the SIM to answer his phonecalls.
I know all of his passwords (Google, Gmail, etc...).
The problem is that I couldn't bypass the screen lock and recover thru Google's Account Recovery because he cuts WIFI & MOBILE DATAS (he follows my advice to save battery ).
I tried to bypass using the Quicknote trick (that allowed me to activate WIFI & BLUETOOTH), but unfortunately it couldn't connect to my WIFI (unlocked)...
Any clue ?
NO, I'm not a thief, a robber, a delinquent, so I didn't steal that phone. (Me and my wife are owner of 2 G4)
Feel free to ask me more infos/proofs via PM.
Thanks for your help and for his family.
Note : the phone isn't rooted and I don't want to do it because I don't want to wipe his (and it's) memory.
I have three google accounts on my phone. ALL of them are set to not allow saved passwords in their account settings.
BUT, I still get the stupid Nag to save my passwords on my Sprint running LS99830a
What the heck? I cant find any other settings on my phone that seems to relate to it.
Bump.....Anyone?
