I am Confused by this phone . My Phone is
samsung and is gifted by a friend from middle east.but
when I switch on my phone its not shows samsung GT-
I9500 & its shows "android" only.
When I go to settings Its Shows:
Model No - GT-I9505
Android Version - 4.2.2
Baseband Version - MAUI.11AMD.W12.22.SP.V17,

KERNAL VERSION - 3.0.13

Now, the problem is, the phone says "no sim card" even
with sim card inserted and the same sim card is working
with other phone.
I also noticed that The Phone Model No. & IMEI No. which
is printed on the Label [Under the Battery] is not matching
with the system in settings menu. Label Shows Its Samsung
GT-I9500 and IMEI No.355236030140140. But when I
checked in the phone settings Its shows GT-I9505 & IMEI
No. 351869058577423.
I tried to reboot and a factory reset but the problem is
not solved. So Help me.....Please...............

Maybe your phone is fake/clone/replica Samsung Galaxy S4, here is a video comparison between Original and fake.
Did you try other simcard? I'm not very sure if your IMEI is blocked but you can check it here [TUTORIAL]: how to know if the IMEI is blocked

Dear Sir,
I checked & found imei no. is "Very likely" then what will i do to solve "no sim".I think its a fake phone.when i tried to connect with pc its shows "MT65xx android phone" in Devices & printer section. I changed a new sim card of another network but the same thing is showing & both are working in Galaxy sII. do you have any idea or suggestions. Because I am new to android. Please help me.

I have purchased my Xperiz Z 'C6602' in the start of this year (2014). Yesterday, I faced a problem that my mobile was showing no Sim card detection. I have restarted my mobile many times, open the Sim slot and again placed it corrected but the problem persists. I have reset my mobile, check the aeroplane mode but all is well. I am wondering that how this happened because my mobile was working great. I used it at night very well and then after some hours at morning the mobile showed no network connection (detect no Sim) while the Sim was in the Sim Slot.

The IMEI number on my S3 is completely gone, i installed a custom ROM and after it booted up i wasnt getting any signal. i didnt a little reasearch and found out the imei number file has been deleted and is wasnt backed up. does anyone know how to recover the IMEI number? I reverted back to the stock rom and unrooted my device but the IMEI thats underneath the battery doesnt match with the one it shows when i dial *#06#, when i dial that the IMEI is 004999010640000/01 and when it was rooted and on a stock rom it showed "null". if anyone knows how to fix this can you please give a detailed walkthrough on what to do.
I Accdidently ticked the clear EFS in odin. Now my phone does not recognize the sim card. The IMEI number ia null and the baseband is also unknown. ??

ive got a S6 edge (SM-G925F) from someone with lineageos 14 installed. The Sim Card hadnt been recognized from the start, so i thought i flash the stock Firmware to reset it.
Even after flashing various stock Firmwares, the Sim card doesnt get recognized. There is also no IMEI and IMEISV Number. Its just unknown.
I tried flashing
-DBT Germany Firmware
- O2 Firmware
- Vodafone Firmware
all with the same Result.
Does someone know a fix?

Recently when i flashed my S9+ Single Sim, after this it shows 2 IMEI no. in settings and also model no. changed, moreover on the origional IMEI Sim is not working and the other is showing 000000 is there any way to get back my device in working condition again. a Screenshot is also attached.
