Keyboard backlight: How to enable & control brightness - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

I've tried the standard Samsung F9 key with all option combos w/o joy. Please advise.

The Tab S7 and S7+ keyboards from Samsung don't have backlights.

LOL

Number one issue with the new case other than insane price

Vibration intensity, haptic feedback inconsistent

I'm having trouble with the vibration intensity on my SGS2...it is very inconsistent...when I set it to where I want it, after awhile I'll notice that I can't feel any haptic feedback either on the keyboard or the buttons. I'll go back in to the settings and they'd be the same, but I'd increase and I could feel it again, but then after awhile the intensity will be way too high and I'll have to go back and set it where I had it previously.
This seems like it might be a hardware issue as it did it with the stock rom as well as UnNamed. Any other ideas?
I have always left mine at the default level, and haven't has issues on stock or UnNamed or S8. Do you only have this problem after changing the default setting? Does it happen if you don't change the intensity from default?

I never messed with it until I noticed I couldn't feel it anymore...I wonder if it could be the A.I. Type keyboard I'm using, it has its own haptic intensity settings too, I suppose it could be interfering with the global setting...the problem is that it just seems to change on its own...
I had a problem using the gingerbread keyboard from the market, having issues with vibration, but only within the keyboard. The problem never effected my global settings. Try a different keyboard and see if the problem persists. I like the stock keyboard or swiftkey. I have heard you can get it free from getjar.com.

I disabled the AI Type and enabled the stock Samsung keyboard and it's the same. I can go into settings/sound/vibration intensity and move the slider up and down and I can feel the different intensities just fine, very strong on the high end of the scale...but as of right now, whatever I select it makes no difference to the actual intensity I get from the buttons, it never changes...wierd.

Galaxy S3 autonomy problem

Recently I purchased my Galaxy S3, meanwhile updated to JB (4.1.1)
Excellent device, exact what I needed.. only the battery autonomy botters me:
Before my first usage I made sure the battery was fully loaded.. nevertheless I now experience rapid power drain..
Even no significant improvement when I disable as much as possible power consuming functionality:
-no wireless, no BT, no auto-sync, no thethering active, NFC & S-beam off
-network mode set to GSM only
-screen TO=15"
-wallpaper changed to black (with no wallpaper app)
-auto-contrast disabled + brightness set to min value
-power-saving option active
-no resident programs in task mngr
So TMHO the functionality is set to the utmost minimum.. but nevertheless the battery only lasts for a few hours..!
In the battery overview listing I see 'Screen' taking up 83%..
What else could be wrong??
In this way my fantastic smartphone is barely usable..
Pls advise

First which keyboard your using if it is custom then go to is setting's and disable Vibrate on key-press
And about Haptic feedback is under Custom Rom Settings so if your using any custom Rom so search in its setting.

You can turn it on and off from the quick panel but it's nowhere to be found in settings.
Hm... S7+ here, not S7. The control is in Settings | Display | Blue light filter. Has Samsung hid the control on the S7 or something?

Yup. My S6 had it but my S7 T870 doesn't.
Yeah its in the pull down but that's it. Toggle it and the screen gets all ugly lol. I be colorblind so blue light filters don't work anyway but thats its missing us messed up. Kinda goes with the odd omission of themes.
