[Q] UK rooters. Titanium backup and bank apps

I'm with hsbc and thankfully they recently have an option to get rid is that stupid calculator like device and use the mobile app instead to create secure login passwords.
I did that and it was working great. A few days later I wiped my phone (note 4, but not relevant) to downgrade back to kit Kat. Much to my surprise the app wouldn't let me create a secure password anymore. The app was registered to my "old" phone, the login passwords were not enough. I had to call in and get a reset so it would work with my "new" phone.
The question is, if I backup with titanium, will the restored file and data still work? I'm too chicken to try it out. I don't live in the UK and calling in is a real hassle if it goes wrong.

Watch won't show Google Now cards

As the topic says, the watch won't show any google cards. It just happened out of the blue. It used to show cards like weather and so on but all of a sudden i stopped. Notifications overall works like a charm, it's just the cards. On my phone (N6P) the cards are fully functional and enabled. Everything is up to date.
What i've tried:
- Unpair the watch (also a factory reset)
- Disable and enable cards on the phone
- Re-installed Android Wear
The thing is also that if I press the Google app on the watch, it shows weather, it does not prompt for enabling Google Now on the phone. I'm so confused. I re-installed everything last night.
same problem here
Nexus 6P (newest Chroma ROM) and Huawei Watch Classic
Same for me.
Newest Google Search App (5.11.31.19) doesnt seem to help either.
OnePlus One (CM13 nightlies) + Moto 360v2
I've had contact with Motorola via e-mail and what they have recommended so far is to unpair the watch, remove Google account from phone, remove android wear, add the account again, install android wear and re-pair the watch.
Did not work for me. Waiting for further advice.
Same here.

Glad it's not just me. Hope they fix it soon.
I somehow had it working again for the last few days (dont know what made it work). But today when I woke up in the morning the watch wasn't showing the Google now card again! (Again I don't know what changed :/ )
This bug is appearing really weirdly. Hope it gets fixed soon
Mine just started working again randomly yesterday. Not sure what triggered it. Maybe an app update.
I start to believe it's intentional, the cards will show up if there is anything apart(!) from weather (in my case upcoming football matches), and it will never directly show the weather, but say something like "1 more from Google" (dunno about the english term it uses). If your only card is the weather one, it won't be there.
I am having the same issue with my watch as well. I just reset the watch and deleted the android wear app and deleted all settings and reset the phone and watch up. Still not working.
After a 30 minute phone call to Moto tech support I was told that the issue is a defective watch and they offered to send me out a replacement watch. I told them I would thank about and get back to them. I am pretty sure it is not a watch hardware issue but a software issue.

Unlocking my pin-locked Galaxy Tab Pro

I bought it on black friday a few years ago, but I never much got into using a tablet, so it was pretty much relegated to a restricted account for my daughter to play games, watch some things on Kodi, etc. My ex had an account on there as well.
Fast forward, now I find myself having a need for it to do some data logging with some of my Keysight equipment. Except it's been so long that I can't remember what my password was. This came to a point today where my daughter can't play Minion Rush because it won't load until it's updated. And my account is the only admin account can give her access to the Play store to update it (I removed anything from her account that wasn't specific games and learning tools). I have access to my ex's account as well as my daughters (no screen locks on them, just swipe), but that doesn't do me any good as neither of them are setup as administrators. Past that, something is chewing up the memory, even though there really aren't many apps on it, at least that I can remember installing. Now that I have my Plex server setup and reachable outside of my home network, I'm going to start using it as I travel often. But there isn't enough room to even install the Plex app.
I tried using Google's device manager and while it can see that it's on my wifi, battery percentage, etc when I go through the steps of unlocking it I get; "We successfully sent a lock request to your device" then immediately following "Couldn't lock device". Of other note in the header for the device I get;
"Galaxy Tab Pro
Unavailable
You must be a primary user to find this device"
I am the primary user on the tablet, linked to my normal Google account. I suspect this has something to do with TouchWiz running as the interface.
I've tried Samsung's "Find my mobile" but either my tablet wasn't supported or I never activated it, as it only shows my old Note 3 and my current Note 5.
The "reset password" and "forgot pin" boxes aren't on my lock screen, as they show if you Google how to reset a pin on the tablet.
I really don't want to factory reset it unless it's an absolute last resort as there is some data on it as well as pics from a while ago when I was trying to get in the habit of using it that I would like to get back.
Help?
Last prayer bump before I have to factory reset it.

Google apps on chinese 8x MAX (ARE-AL00) emui 9.1.0

I'm NOT a developer (just your average it-guy), but i wanted to share how it worked for me!
Just posting my experience in getting google to work again, it might help others. (share the experience)
I started from a fresh system,
enabled developer options by tapping build number in system (under about phone),
enabled usb-debugging
enabled adb-debugging in charge only mode
installed the newest Google Services installer, the one with the blue/purple G and the chinese signs under it (installed 3,05 Mb)
Then i tried to run it. but it got stuck at the first install with a red exclamation mark.
Bought another phone. (Redmi Note 8t - also full of crap, but EU version)
With no network (no sim and no Wifi) and NO connection to the pc, i started the apps from the Chinese Google services installer manually finding them using the files app on the phone (they are numberred from 1 to 6)
Everything installed, so i checked if i could start play store and sign in and it finally worked!!! (normally it got stuck when you wanted to sign in, so it seemed like they blocked it by protocol or something)
I'm posting this experience because it IS possible to get Google apps working after the latest Emui update from Hua#%& (can you tell this is my last device from them? yes i loved the 8x max)
Now i'm on a new mission, by using Google search. Removing as much Huacrap as i can.
If i may say this here, if you buy a phone, no matter where (china in my case), you should own it. And yes, if i decide to destroy it the next day thats my decision and my responsibility. With selling the device they wave ownership of it.
If you have any succes in getting things to work or getting huacrap removed post below please

Get old data synced with new phone

Hello everyone!
Earlier I had Amazfit pace, and now I have Amazfit GTR 42 mm (after Pogo pins of pace gave up and it would no longer charge with no repair options available, but that is a separate topic).
I was using these two watches paired with Mi A1 for ~ 2.5 years and it had sleep and heart rate data from both these watches. Now I bought new phone (redmi note 8) and paired the existing watch (GTR) with it with existing google account (after unpairing it from Mi A1, and reseting to factory defaults)
But I don't see all the data coming for my sleep and heart rate from old days and it just brings new data since I bought the GTR, why so? and how can I get the old data back in the app in the new phone? If I open the app on my old phone, I can still see the entire data for old days when I had pace. I have tried copy pasting com.huami.watch.hmwatchmanager folder from old phone to the new one, and the free version of the notify app to export and import the data, but nothing seems to help.
Any pointers are highly appreciated!
This historical data relays on cloud so copy/ paste will not help. No ideas what could be the issue, but just to mention amazfit servers kinda suc*s lately. I lost almost 3 years old data as well and it happened out of nowhere.
