Hi,
I installed Lineague OS 17.1 on my Galaxy S3. Everything worked just fine until I put in my simcard. The first thing which happened after booting was getting directly asked for the PUK code although I didnt even enter a pin at all. So I just rebooted the phone again which made it not recognize the simcard anymore.
After that I put my simcard in my Galaxy S5 with stock ROM and I got the message that my simcard is permanently blocked.
Any idea what happened and if there's a way to fix it?
thanks

Hey,
I've got a problem with my Galaxy S II and I hope some of you can help me. One day i flashed a wrong modem via CWM and I couldn't connect to the internet. So I decided to go back to stock and restore everything via CWM. I flashed a 3 part stock firmware and updated it to ICS. Then I flashed CWM and restored everything, but from now on my phone ask me several times a day for my SIM-PIN. I tried different roms, but on every rom my phone ask me for the PIN, again and again. Now I'm on ICS stock and everything works fine. Can anybody help me or is there anybody with the same issue?
Best regards
Hesoy
SIM pin is your SIM card pin code. Whenever you get a SIM card it comes with 2 codes: SIM PIN Code & SIM PUK Code.
Check the carrier SIM package and should get them both.
If you threw it all away contact you carrier and ask for the PUK Code.

Hey,
thanks for your answer. I know my SIM code and it works, but the problem is the SIM PIN request. When i start my phone I enter my code, but the phone ask me again and again for my pin, when it is on the table or in my pocket for example. Without a restart or something like that.
Sorry for my bad english.
Best regards
Hesoy
go to sim kit and set it to "don't ask for pin".

Try flashing your modem again from here, they include the RILS and could help. Although it would help it you gave more info about your ROM.

I have a problem with my i9100G
I bought the phone and it was network blocked
Details:
When i insert simcard i have a zone in the phone, but i can't call or texting, because instead operator name I have text like Emergency calls only, and then my phone boots up, it does not ask for any unlock code
Phone has 4.1.2 Stock firmware with root
What i did:
1. I tried Galaxy S2 SIM Unlock and unlock code was not found
2. I tried GalaxSim Unlock and it show me that my sim status is unlocked and i have not option to unlock it
3. I tried SamsungUnlocker v1.4, copied nvdata.bin file from my phone to my pc, but failed because of my videocard unsupport(lol...), when I choose second option and pathced my nvdata.bin, moved to my phone back, deleted nvdata.bin.md5(or something like this) and restarted, but no luck, all the same
4. I flashed other modem, but no luck again
If need some screenshots, i will upload later
So I have no more ideas, how to unlock this crappy phone
I hope you help me guys
P.S. Sorry for my bad english, I hope you understood what i meant
Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 locked to T-Mobile on Android 4.3 (baseband: I9300XXUGNA8) meaning it has changed the EFS parition to v2. The phone has been rooted as well. Is there any solution to remove the SIM lock? I have tried reflashing with older versions but the systems wouldn't boot up. I read that it can brick my phone completely. I tried using Vooodo unlocker and GalaxSim but error comes up, undefined. I tried EVERY SINGLE METHOD by using the codes: *#7465625# or *#197328640# but I either get Not registered on network message or some other error. In case of #0011# I can't pass the step 4 (when you type in 1 and the service should appear). The IMEI is fine, everything is fine as long as I'm on T-Mobile sim card (the signal works perfectly). I put any other foreign SIM and it doesn't ask me for the unlock code. Do you know what's the reason? I have bought an unlock code but I can't even use because any other method wouldn't work. Is there anything at all I could do? I'd really appreciate your help.

Try to flash an unbranded version, like this here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=28378
And than try it again with your code.

This particular firmware fails to flash it through Odin. I assume it's designated for GT-I9305, not I9300 ... I have tried the unbranded versions for my model anyway and I usually end up in the bootloop. Any other solution? Thx
Factory reset after Odin flash.
Hey guys, I hope I'm asking this in the right place.
I followed a video and successfully installed Lollipop 5.1.1 on my S2 (GT-I9100). Previously my phone was running 4.1.2. I installed cm-12.1-20150430-UNOFFICIAL-i9100.
The problem: My SIM card won't unlock upon using my PIN code anymore.
If I boot without the SIM card, I can access the internet and do pretty much anything, but if I insert the SIM card, the unlock menu comes up and I can't get past it.
I'd appreciate any help!
Hi!
So I have this problem with my Samsung Galaxy SII that it doesn't recognize the SIM card for the most of the time. When this problem started, the phone was completely stock (Not rooted/Not a single flashing made by me). Android version was the latest official 4.1.2.
Problem description:
I could be using the phone completely normally and then suddenly it reports that there is no SIM card. Now with pulling out and putting back the SIM card and rebooting couple of times, it might recognize the SIM card again and work for a while (few hours).
What I've tried to fix this:
1. Tried the SIM card on another phone, it worked perfectly.
2. Tried another SIM card on my S2, didn't work any better.
3. I thought that as the warranty is over, I might aswell just root my S2 and install the CyanogenMod 12.1 and check if this fixes the problem (Well it didn't).
4. I saw that my IMEI number shows nothing so I did this: [GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps..
Well step 4 didn't bring back the IMEI number but now after rebooting a couple of times when I got my SIM card to be recognized again and then checked the IMEI, it was correct. Though the SIM card wasn't detected after a while again.5. Well now I flashed back the original Android 4.1.2 and checked the IMEI number (SIM not detected), it showed "null/null".
6. I went back to CyanogenMod 12.1 and saw that when it's showing blank IMEI, it's also showing "Baseband version: Unknown.
7. Flashed a new Modem+RIL, not helping either.
8. Tried many other things which I can't remember now but found by googling.
So it's sometimes working and also shows the correct IMEI and baseband and sometimes they are all gone?
My question here is that is there anything I can still try to get it working. And also if anyone knows where the problem could be? Is it some part that is faulty or is it the software that is messing with me? I'm quite handy at taking apart and changing the parts inside if that is the case. It's just that I'm not going to pay over 100€ for a new motherboard to get it fixed.
Thanks for any replies!
