Hi there,
I am very confused and frustrated with the bluetooth audio output quality and BQ Aquaris X2 Pro. Specially with my car, that is a little bit old, and may the car's bluetooth is not great profile. Working with some headpones works pretty oka.
But I discovered and awesome strange issue. To play my music I use YoutubeMusic (previusly Google Music). Streaming configuration is high, and the music by bluetooth in my car sucks!
So playing with Android Auto I discovered this paranormal activity:
1 - Playing music with just YoutubeMusic. Sound sucks as usual
2 - Now, while playing music I start Android Auto.
3 - While opening the app, during just few seconds, the audio quality changes. It is HUGEEEE CHANGE, the music quality is awesome. It is not volume is much more better quality.
4 - The app is launched and the music turns back to very poor quality. Now I can see youtubemusic but in Android AUto.
5 - Exit Android Auto app, while the app is closing, the music turns again awesome quality.
6 - The app closes, going to Android Home screen and the music sucks again
whaaaaaaaaat??
I have tried also to change developers blutooth options. Nothing seems to happen. When restart mobile options go back to default.
I have tried some equalizer apps.. it does not seems to affect to the sound. Neither boosters or similar.
what a misterious,eh?

Well, in light of everything, I still will post the bugs I'm experiencing on 8/29
I have the 32GB version. I wiped/factory reset.
- Bluetooth pairing to Jawbone Jambox is hit or miss, when it does pair, trying to enter into the BT settings causes an FC everytime. This has been happening with all the builds of LnT I've ever tested (#1 reason why I didn't use it as my daily rom) As a comparison, CM9 08/19 nightly doesn't have this problem
- Dolby mobile audio doesn't seem to do anything meaningful. I don't have any .mp3s stored on my TP, I've been using EX file explorer to connect to a local NAS, and then playing the .mp3 with whatever default audio player is built into EXFE. While it's playing, I first tried to switch between speaker/headset toggle, and through the speakers, it doesn't make any difference to the audio currently being played. I don't know if this is user error or what, maybe it only works with local mp3s using android music player?
- Turning off Dolby mobile audio will not allow me to turn it back on until I reboot
- I tried the Beats Audio build, again, turning on for example Bass boost did nothing for my ears. Does the equalizer only work for local mp3? I was trying with streaming audio from tune-in radio
- Intermittent: touchscreen stops responding. The workaround is quickly turn off/on TP. Then it works again
Sorry, I'm a n00b and a bunch of these could be user errors, not understanding the feature.
OK so the audio loss bug is still in 8/29 for me. The work around is having headphones plugged in on boot, let it sleep, wake up and unplug headphones
Also, crackling audio also occurs for me, sleep and wake fixes problem but then touch screen is intermittently unresponsive. These bugs do it happen for me in cm9 nightly

Anyone else noticing slight distortions when it comes to listening to music on the LG G6 (US997)? It's like listening to a lower quality song before it becomes high-quality 320kbps, except it goes like that for any song, even songs stored on the phone. This occurs over Bluetooth. I haven't tested plugged in.
Do you have any other bluetooth accessories connected at the same time? I found my smart watch impacts music streaming quality over bluetooth
I have this same issue. It seems like the phone had trouble handling multiple Bluetooth connections. Mine sounds like a static/crackle on every speaker that I use.
I am hoping there are some Bluetooth fixed coming with Oreo.
Sent from my VS988 using Tapatalk
Mine had a hissing sound on the car's bluetooth, solved it by seting the audio settings from stereo to mono, weird problem dough
I did sone playing around and it seems to be fixed after clearing dalvik/caxhe and caxhe through twrp. I don't experience the issue anymore. Might just be me, but give it a try and see if it works for you.
I've been experience a few issues with the new update. One of them, which is more a nuisance than anything, is my bluetooth connection to my car. It's a 2015 Mustang with MyFord Touch. The phone is a galaxy S8+. About 1/3 of the time when I start the car, the phone shows up named a bunch of random characters, instead of Galaxy S8+. Not a huge deal. My music player starts automatically (even if I close it, and kill the process). The thing that's weird is that the audio is kind of hollow sounding when it starts up UNTIL I turn on the phones display, then it kicks into a fuller sound. It's never done this before. Not only that, but it decides when it wants to display track information from Samsung music player only a small portion of the time.
If I'm playing music through Amazon Music, it updates the track information, no problem. If I switch to Samsung's music player, it just displays the last track I played on Amazon music, and never changes. If I start the car with the music player going, it won't update track information until it gets to the next song, and even that is spotty.
Aside from these issues, and the issues I'm having with the default browser, I think it's a pretty good update. But this music thing is really bugging me. For the record, I've tried rebooting the phone. I've tried changing through the AVRCP versions in the developer options, I've toggled Dolby Atmos on and off, changed the sample rate, channels, etc. Nothing seems to be affecting this problem.
On a side note, how do I close the music player so it doesn't automatically start playing when connected to bluetooth?
Hi,
I own a Mi TV BOX S, which was working fine. Suddenly the output sound rendering has started some issues.
Issues:
1. The output volume level has decreased a lot. Around half of the normal.
2. When hearing songs via youtube app, the volume of some instruments are very high and it is almost impossible to hear the vocal sounds. The inbuilt youtube app in my TV is playing the song without any issue. The Bass volume is below average.
3. The same issue is with hotstar app. The dialogue levels are very low compared to music.
4. Not an issue with the Television. I have builtin Netflix, Prime and Youtube app in my TV and all playing the sounds without any issue.
5. The dolby sounds passed through the HDMI cable (using VLC app) are not having any issue. Only sounds processed by the TV box are affected.
6. The bluetooth headset paired directly to the TV box is also having the sound issue. So I do not expect it to be a cable or connectivity issue.
7. The last firmware update for the TV box was received after the issue started.
8. Tried factory resetting the box, toggling the sound settings etc. Nothing worked so far.
9. Couple of days before the issue started, while using the youtube app I saw a strange volume bar at top middle of the TV, below the normal volume bar. It was there for around 5-10 seconds and it got disappeared. The level was at around 60% in it. is there a hidden volume adjustment or equalizer for MI TV box?
The product was purchased from US and currently I am using it in India. It should be in warranty, but I have no way to send it back to US. Any solution is appreciated.

Hi, I am facing the exact same issue but only when I connect my earbuds and only on youtube built in app, I tried all the troubleshootind you tried, still have an sound issue with my earbuds and only with youtube.
Hello. I'm facing quite a bit of Bluetooth issues with my phone and the Bluetooth speaker. Like, when i listen to music on the wynk app, with the equaliser in the app on, the sound quality is really great. But when the equaliser is off, then the audio quality and loudness deteriorates quite a bit. Sound quality should be the same in YouTube app too as is in wynk music. Tried many equaliser apps too, nothing works. Why isn't the Bluetooth audio sound quality uniform throughout? Is this an issue of my android phone? Kindly help. I have a Nokia 5.1 Plus.
