What is Project Treble:
Project Treble basically partitions your device into two separate partitions, a system and a vendor: system contains your generic system image, while vendor partition has your device specific files required for booting and running your phone. This way we can easily change the system image and be able to run our device on different system images with the same kernel and vendor partition

Does this vendor image get updated every time there is a Google Security Update? In other words, is that update on this partition or the system partition?
Clsoing down this thread as flashing a seprate vendorimage is not required anymore on my builds. Updated ROM builds that I maintain will roll out soon.

First In flash I see lineage 17 gsi have bug camera and flashlight :
fix from phhusson in thread lineage 17 gsi :
1) Find /system/etc/ld.config.XX.txt (where XX is the SDK version your vendor corresponds to - e.g. 8.1 vendor is SDK 27)
2) Find the line "namespace.vndk.links = system,default"
3) Append ",runtime" to the end of it, so it becomes "namespace.vndk.links = system,default,runtime"
4) Save and reboot
Thanks to all who brought up the issue and @phhusson for quickly identifying the cause / giving a fix!
after apply Fix I see its not fixed in this ugglite ...
