Recently my phone started charging slow with my charger so I tried plugging it to my laptop it charged faster but still slow when I go to ampere and the phone is plugged into Ac charger it tells me that it's a Usb charger. When I plug my phone to my laptop ampere tells me that the max usb current is 500ma but when I plug it into the charger it tells me that the max current is 100ma. And yes I've tried many different chargers and cables.
And u remove the dust in the usb port?

Is there a difference between charging with the supplied wall charger and charging using a micro USB cable attached to a desktop or laptop?
Slight difference -- the supplied wall charger charges at 600ma. USB charging from a PC maxes at 450ma so it isn't quite as fast. 3rd party chargers may be detected as USB and cause a slower charge rate too, so watch out for that.
Either way, you'll get charged. USB is definitely slower though.
Hey guys i just wanted to knw if ur phone lasts the same when charging using the laptop and using the wall charger bcoz mine is nearly 60% ie. lasts 40% less when i charge using wall charger.
Does anybody else is facing this too ??
That's an interesting observation, ill have too check. Though the laptop would be a slow charge and a cleaner regulated current due to the power regulator in the laptop's charger

yeah laptop charging is nearly half or less than half speed of wall charging ..
there is no difference between AC or USB power from a PC, but charging it with a PC takes a lot more time, because your USB port has not the power/current
i usually always use the wall charger it came with. But i remember that sometimes when i use any other charger it either wont even recognize the cable or not charge at all specially car chargers
First off, I'm not some dumbass who doesn't know that the USB cable has to be in a wall jack to charge the NT. I'm just curious as to why this cable only charges with a wall jack and not when it's plugged into a computer...
Because
Well it does not give out enough power from the computer.
so it does not charge quickly.
But if you plug the cable in to your computer and the nook while leaving it on overnight, it should charge.
so it does charge, but just really slowly

Helps to turn the screen off too.

Wall charger is 2000ma most PC USB are 500ma max.
I don't think the 500mA limit is the whole story. My Nook won't charge off of other 2A USB charger I have nor with any other cable (even if using the Nook charger).

You need the stock cable to charge at the higher rate with compatible 2A chargers. Compatible chargers will have the data pins shorted. I've found that my HTC HD2's charger will actually charge my NT at the higher current as long as I use the NT's stock cable.
Do I need a special usb plug to allow rapid charging?
I have a usb plug (which I connect the usb cable to from the mobile when charging) and it has an output of 5v.
Will I get rapid charging if I connect the mobile to my laptop?
Thanks
You need a Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 wall plug. I bought this exact one (US plug model) in china and it works really well, get's charged from 0 to 100% in 1:30hrs, getting the first 75% between the 0:45 and the 1:00hrs of charge.
I'm using the usb cable that came with my A52 5G. It rapid charges with the provided wall charger but doesnt charge at all (slow or rapid) with the same cable plugged into a laptop USB port. Is this normal? My old phone at least slow charged off of it.
