My mi 10 cannot detect sim with cn or eu rom. It can only detect sim with global rom. Is there any solution to this? Thanks for your reply.
I flash from the global version to the cn version, but I don't find any problems. Did you flash the Fastboot rom with miflash?

I use twrp to flash the cn rom.
I did flash with miflash again but the cn rom could not detect the sim card and in the process I made a mistake of locking the bootloader. Now my mi 10 cannot be unlocked since the cn rom does not detect the sim card for the unlocked process.

Cross-regional switching system, such as global version switch to cn, or global version switch to India version can not use twrp, you need to unlock the full package using miflash, recovery mode package is missing Some things, if you can’t detect the sim card, remove sim card and reset the system. After setting the initial settings, insert the sim card and try again

I tried what you suggest but the sim cannot be detected. When I had global rom the sim was detected. Now the bootloader is locked so I cannot not flash the global rom.

If your mobile phone is the international version (IN EA MI RU), BL cannot be locked after flashing CN rom, and vice versa, wrong lock bl will cause failure to recognize SIM card, try to unlock bl or seek help from Xiaomi

After i installed miui android 6 (5.10), the sim and everything not working. When i tryed to restore twrp backup, the system are bad, and reboot, reboot, reboot. I tryed to install offical miui rom, but sim and wsifi not working. Can somebody help me?
Sorry for my english..
When you flash the 6.0, your bootloader is relocked. And you need to unlock it again. Just boot into fastboot, and unlock it using miunlock and flash twrp again

I just bought Redmi Note 3 SD. I am running the latest global stable build based on LP. I wanted to move to Global Beta Builds. I tried to flash the recovery zip using updater app. But it always showed "couldn't verify update package".
So i searched a bit. And think it requires bootloader to be unlocked first. But I have some doubts :
1) After unlocking bootloader can I flash global beta recovery rom zip using updater app ? Or fastboot is the only method even after unlocking bootloader ?
2) If I am stuck at 50% during the unlocking process, will the phone wont boot not anymore ? Or I can boot it just like it was before ?
3) Does data gets wiped during bootloader unlocking ?
Thanx in advance...

1. Any rom that supports flashing through recovery can be flashed through the recovery.
2. If you are stuck at 50% while unlocking your phones boot loader, don't worry. Your phone will boot and work just fine.
3. Nothing will be wiped after unlocking your phones boot loader, everything stays the way it is.
I hope I answered your questions

And you don't need an unlocked bootloader to flash the beta global MM ROM. You can use miflash and flash the phone in edl mode. If you take a backup in MIUI first, you can restore all your apps and data too. If you're even braver, you can replace the stock recovery image in the ROM with ZXCTWRP at the same time so you can flash SuperSU, Xposed, etc. all with a locked bootloader.
Download an older dev build like 6.8.18 which should work through the updater app, then you can go to 6.9.29 after that.

I don't know. I'm perfectly happy on the MM beta and have no desire to go back to LP.
Good luck.
Just got my RN3 SD last week and I'll share what I encountered

No, you don't need unlocked bootloader to flash latest Global beta. What you need to do is boot to EDL mode and flash Global Beta through MiFlash tool.
TIP Make sure fist that your device is properly recognized by your PC through correct drivers. Usually the MiFlash drivers are sufficient but I had problems with the MTP driver so I had to search the internet for this
Flashing Via EDL Guide

I don't think so since your error seem to depend on the updater app, and not the bootloader
TIP If you do decide to unlock bootloader, try to unlock in your current ROM first before flashing Global Beta. In my case, I applied for permission on Day1, Got my permission on Day 3, Failed to unlock until Day 5 where I EDL flashed Global beta and I was able to unlock by then. I think I could have unlocked faster if I EDL flashed Global Beta earlier

It will still boot. You just need to hold the power button long enough (you're in fastboot when unlocking)

No. Data gets wiped when you flash something in fastboot/EDL or when you wipe it in custom recovery
Other Info
ROM that came with the Phone is official MIUI 7.2.3
Global beta I flashed is 6.9.22
After unlocking bootloader, I flashed ZCX TWRP
After Flashing ZCX TWRP, I flashed xiaomi.eu ROM 6.9.29 and got bootloop. To fix this I had to flash LazyFlasher.zip after xiaomi.eu ROM and then did a factory reset via TWRP
Best Regards,
Tester

Yeah but i didn't wanted to move into this miflash stuff right now. I had bad experience with my last phone mi3 when i flashed it using miflash. So i want to just move to Global beta MM build using stock recovery..

I also got the permission 1 week back. But i read that it takes usually 1 to 2 weeks to get the data updated in their databases. And i don't want to go to EDL and MiFlash stuff yet. I had bad experience with Mi3 when i used MiFlash

First of all why would you flash any rom via fastboot/miflash? when you already unlocked the bootloader? because in doing so your bootloader will relock automatically (Mostly on Globle Stable roms because those come with locked bootloader).
My advice re-flash Globle Dev version and try.

If your phone is really 64GB version as you're saying then it could be internal partition problem which could be solved by various apps (root is req.) and within TWRP, please try otherwise flash Global Dev via TWRP (preferably redwolf recovery, because it contains lazy flasher and many things for MIUI).

Hi!
Facts are:
1. Your rom is fake.
2. You have to unlock your bootloader to flash stock or custom rom.
as title state : is there a way to change software from 8.11.29 to 10.0.6.0 without unlocking boot loader ?!
am selling the phone and don't want to unlock it

No, but you can lock it back like nothing ever happened, even if you let the bootloader unlocked you will not lose the warranty
simply go authorised mi service centre and asked him to software upgrade.and they will update your miui version 10.06.thnk you. i was already experienced same type of problem in past.:good:
otherwise you don't update your miui unless you unlocked your bootloader

Try downloading the file and use the system updater and select the downloaded file.
Normally it is compatible to stable stock rom update. However, you are downgrading the android version from 9 to 8.1 .. it may not allow you done. If allows, then it might wipe data and internal too.
Thanks
sssyraj
download the 10.0.6.0 fastboot rom flash it via Mi Flash Tool
Unlock your phone
Flash 10.0.6 with miflash tool( fastboot mode )
After flash with flash tool your phone will be locked again
so is there only one version of 10.0.6.0 ?! i am a previous samsung user and they used to release different official roms according to region and phone
I have received the 10.0.6.0 on my locked bootloader. Indian version here if that makes any difference ?
bootloader unlock, miflash will not work.

Since you already unlocked the bootloader, so no problem for flashing flash boot ROM into the phone, backup your phone into external SD card.
