i rooted my prime and deleted some system apps.
now i want to update to .21 and is not possible (red triangle every time).
i factory restore my prime and unroot it and have the same result.
any1 knows how can i update my prime without unlock it and flash the stock rom?

You can do a manual update. Search for this in the forum and you will find the guide.

Unzip .21
Unzipped file will be another zip
Put that zip on the root of storage
Reboot
this is what i found but i would like to know what does it means by root storage and do i put the file in my micro sd card or internal storage?

By root storage, it means not in a folder on the sdcard.
If you think of the sdcard as a folder with many sub-folders, then you do not want it in one of the sub-folders, but in the sdcard folder itself.
I hope that makes sense and hasn't confused you further.
Hey guys a little help please. So I have a springboard and I wanted to update it to ics. So I went to the huawei website and downloaded the file unzipped and I put the dl folder in the root of my SD card, but when I went to install it said fail. Am I doing anything wrong. I followed the PDF instructions and it doesn't work just says FAIL all the time. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance

Well I've been trying for like 3 hours and still no luck. Which is the root cuz I noticed when I plug the card into the computer and the prompt comes up to choose what I want (and I choose open folder to.view files) on the top of the screen it says g:\ and when I choose the open folder to.view file it turns the g to a E:/ so which is the official root. Anyway I tried putting the dload in both and nothing. I have no clue what else to do. This isn't the first time I do some Modding on electronic equiptment. I have my phone rooted and Ive installed android into windows phones...I also tried redownloading the file but nothing.
Do you have a SD card in the machine? Be aware that the internal memory on the Mediapad calls itself SD but it is not.

No. I remove the SD card and put it in my phone. After I move the file into the SD card I put it in the tablet.

Not sure why you are having these problems. Any reason why you don't just install one of the rooted ROMs found here?

I don't want to root the device. But ill look into it. When I open the SD card I'm suppose to install it in the external SD file in the card correct?

This solve mine!
1. remove sd card from the tablet.
2. use card reader to connect my sd card to my computer.
3. copy all my files in the sd card to my computer for backup.
4. format sd card to fat32 with default allocation.
5. copy dload folder to my sd card.
6. put my sd card back to my tablet turn it on and everything goes well.
7. copy my files from my computer back to my tablet. (THATS IT!!!)

My card is already a fat32. I've tried it all. Can it be because my springboards build number is S7-303u and the file I downloaded is S7-302u?
well screw that stupid download from the website i dont know why i wasnt able to imstall ics on my springboard. so i went to the [ROM][ICS] [UNOFFICIAL] Root-ready Huawei MediaPad/SpringBoard ICS International and it was installed on the first try. so like i said i have no clue what i was doing wrong or if it was just crap. well guys thanks for you help especially rkwhyte2
So things happened, and now I am stuck on the EMUI recovery screen where it says "Reboot system now, Apply update from sd card, etc etc..."
So I am trying to get to Jelly Bean since Lollipop and CmMod are not so good for me.

I just tried it again and it says OTA was not found.
I downloaded the HUAWEI MT2-L03C00B322 and dragged the dload folder to my external sd card.
Has to be unzipped
Sdcard/dload/vendorupdate.app or whatever that named it.

How do you Formatted memory card?
must be 32gb or 64gb Sandisk Orginal memory card needed!
Format your memory card exfat system!
Write Dump file with this
when finished put the memory card in phone
Hold Vol up button and connect with pc.
Phone must be appear download mode

Dear @facebook.com i have the same problem i have LG901 TMobile variant, i was trying to root the phone with stock firmware but end up bricking it, if i try it with SD card will my phone boot up? if yes, can you provide me KDZ file which i should flash from Download Mode?

T mobile v10 5.1.1 kdz file is not available rather new update mm v20e, v20j and v20l is available in kdz file for t mobile v10.

I have used 64gb Samsung class 10 card...
Wel not sure about formatting file system. Will give it another try after fresh format...

Follow my procedure phone will become Download mode
When phone Entered Download mode flash with this firmware

i used sandisk original it worked with me!
But you should try with samsung memory card with low format exfat!
i though it would be work with you!

is it on root of sd card or inside a folder named image .
mine is not on root of card but inside folder name image
I have 64GB card but it isn't Samsung EVO or Sandisk, i researched there's a software called QFIL, should i try the dump file with QFIL?

Convert card to ntfs or exfat.
However, just placing any update.app in dload folder won't install it. You need service firmware from androidhost.ru

When you download and extract service restore package from androidhost.ru, you will find two folders, Software and Docs - find and read instructions from the Docs folder

I second this. SIM card has to be install into phone to allow update OTA. Many thanks for this tip, as I'm struggling with this CuFking`[|^~#{[~\[{ since hours now.
I do hate Huawei as never, that was, my first and last Huawei Mate10PRO.

Take the micro sd, put it in your computer, format it as exFat.

I found an Oreo firmware MHA-L29C636 8.0.0.377 but when trying to put it on the SD card FAT32 does not copy it says that it is too big and when I format it for EXFAT it copies but when doing the DLOAd it says that there is no update file on the SD card.
