HI, I upgraded to stock rom version 11.0.9.0.QFQEUXM and now it cant find the SD card that i used in this pone before uppgrade, I have tryed to put in anoter SD card but it dont find it, I tested the SD card in my computer and it was no problem it work and all the files were ther, I formated an other card and put in phone but dont find it, If i take outthe SD card and insert a second sim card it works no problem it is just the SD card that dont work I have tried to access the card in TWRP but same there the SD card is not found.
The SD card is detected if i put it in an other phone works fine
Anybody have an idé of what is wrong? can it be the hardware that is broken?

i got huawei u8100 . without any reason my sd card stoped working and my phone make reboot for ever and not stopping . i went to clockworkmod it doesnt recognize my sd card at all. also i tried to use sd card reader on my computer also doesnt recognize it . any help
Probably a bad/corrupted sd card.
You can try and format it again on you pc (use a program like sd formatter)
If that don't work you just need a new sd card.

I was transferring files from a micro SD card in my laptop to the 32 GB SD card in my phone. All the files tranferred over just fine, but now the card reader in my phone doesn't work at all. I tried resetting the phone already. Does anyone know what happened and can it be fixed?
NEVERMIND... problem solved.
i have xperia sola and and i put sd card inside it and it told me " checking sd card" then nothing happens and i cant see the sd card folder and I AM NOT GETTING ANY MORE SPACE as if the card is not inserted
any help pleeaase
Try other sd card to see if its device problem or card problem.
Also backup card data on computer and format external storage from device itself.

the phone doesnt show any sd card at all and i tried the card on other phone and it worked! and tried another sd card on my sola and as always it says checking sd card but then nothing happens and there is no external storage at all

Possible that the reader for Sola is busted?

My old nokia was on its last legs, so I borrowed my sister's Smart 2 to use. I inserted my SIM card, and my micro SD card (which worked fine on my Nokia and on my PC). Things were working fine until I attempted to download something from the browser, but it told me that I had to have an SD card to do so. Which I found odd, considering there WAS one in there.
Now, I've checked and made sure I'm putting it in the right way, and I've even tried changing the format via my PC from FAT(default) to FAT32 and exFAT, to no avail. The main problem is that when I go into
Settings -> SD card and phone storage
with the SD card inserted into the phone I still get "Mount SD card - Insert and SD card for mounting" which is greyed out, as well as "Erase SD card". So for some reason it's still not picking it up. If it sheds any light on the problem, it's a 1gb SD card

Okay... I don't have much experience with the Smart 2, but most Android phones work similarly. What you can try is, back up all the data you want to keep onto your computer, insert SD card into phone, and have the phone reformat it. If the phone does not recognize card, make sure the SD card slot works. You may have to unscrew phone and make sure all wires are connected. If the SD card works on your Nokia and PC, it should be fine. Also, make sure there is no dust or dirt in SD card slot. Hope this helps
My phone doesn't recognize the SiM card when I'm putting it together with the SD card. If I put only the SD card its working. Only the SIM also working but both together only the SD work. Any solution?
