guys i ask so many people about this situation. With my pixel experience plus my phone throttling while gaming they adviced me to change kernel. I do not want to change rom because i liked it so much. Which kernel can solve my throttling problem?

I tried stock sammy roms like Chaos or aokp roms like paranoid android or rootbox and i only got 12 hors of battery (3h or 4h on screen time) and i tried some differentk kernels like siyah, boeffla or perseus too with modified tweaks(undervolting) to improve battery performance, but no result. I also greenify Maps, Twitter, Facebook...all sounds disabled...wifi and 3g not all the time, minimum brightness... Maybe i need some parameters to improve battery performance but all that ive tried dont work like they should be, any suggestion? Or maybe try another kernel? Now I use the latest Chaos Build 4.1.2 and Siyah Kernel with cpu and gpu undervolting
Ps: I dont find anything strange in BBS

chaos may use a lot of battery coz of its unique mods and themes..
for me xperianze and paranoid were good.. LOL actually dont expect too much from battery on an quad core phone..
but try an lite-weight sammy based rom with perseus kernel..
Try a small rom that has removed a lot of bloatware, use greenify app and best modem for your region, test some battery saving apps to find What's best for you.

Do you game much? Fastest battery killer in my experience
I never play games, i‘m going to disable and delete some samsung bloatware, and install boeffla kernel with zzmove-optimized governor and different gpu frequencies if that can help... But i dont expect so much :/ i‘ll tell you...thanks

I have the latest jellybean modem, i'm from spain, and I dont know what modem is the best to fix my battery draining, what modem would you advice me? thanks in advance

YOU? dont disable.. just use an new rom
oh come on , with 3 - 4 hours screen on , what more can you ask ? it is normal with that kinda screen time-on
Maybe it's your battery thats dodgy? Have you tested your battery yet? Else get on ebay and get a battery to suit your needs. Saves all the hassle.

Hey here is a site somewhere in a European country that makes a fantastic ROM (beats LOS,RR,AOSP). My cell benched in antutu at over 163000. I am sharing the link. Its a site that has lots of useful tips. Just thought I would share
http://mi-globe.com
Hi
First of all this is not a new rom for our device if you just discovered it , no offense.
With all those tweaks that you made as you said in your second post here , i think it's normal that it can go so high. Also , keep in mind that benchmarks are not really relevant and from a score like that you can experience lags in games/apps you would've said they should work completely fine. It's all about the daily experience and how smooth the rom operates in tasks.
I'm glad i'm seeing such a great score on our device and with the miui smoothness increasing in the latest updates on the developer rom , i think it's awesome . A real flagship experience
I flash for it. Over miupro. Without wipes, not to reinstall all programs. More than 110,000 do not work in antutu.
can u please make a install guide?
and how's your gaming experience?
high frame rate, ultra settings without lag?
"they" didn't make it !
its a copy & paste from here : https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/8-1-11.42918/
I gave up on it eventually lol. I do not know why there are so few ROMs for the Mi note 2. Gaming was average. I change my ROM about once to 5 times a week. Lack of Oreo I do not understand for this cell? LOS I am trying also AOSP slimrom an DotOS. I would love to try ViperOS or any form of Oreo?
For today I am trying hondajohn88 version of LOS
Guys I recently unlocked my bootloader and flashed nitrogen
Scores where around 2.4l and I flashed extreme kernel as well and had a boost of around .2 diff i.e 2.6-2.7.. stock miui global is giving me around 2.9l I know the scores are just numbers... But I'm just wondering why the difference.. please refrain from stating a custom ROM is better or stock.. just need a educated answer to this.. Thanks in advance...
on paper its a matter of optimization but in practice oxygen os port for poco scores 266k on antutu but its gaming performance is better than miui 10 roms which score 299k.
because miui recognizes benchmark apps and enables a very high performance profile (or as xiaomi calls it "thermal profile") which makes the cpu, boost to way higher numbers than what you get on aosp roms... (2.8 vs 2.4 iirc) if you find a way to make the cpu boost that high on aosp roms you can get the same score out of it...
although i suggest you never use antutu for many obvious reasons ...
i found 3dmark sling shot extreme unlimited way more reliable and consistent...
MIUI is just superior in every way ?
Thank you guys for replying this quick..sir ,the discussion is why the difference is scores.. please refrain from saying which is better..I do appreciate your opinion but we are here to hear and give opinions on the topic.. Thanks guys

Both have pros and cons. My first Poco stay with stock 10.2.3, but my daily driver goes to crdroid straight after unlock. It's your choice. If you aware of security, go deep in Los derivatives. I think the performance is result of various factors, like tweaking and optimization. Miui gave me rock solid experience with proper performance and good battery endurance, but my personal choise is Los. Stay tuned.
Regards.
I have another question guys... I wanna use root to use adaway and I'm unable to use gpay.. Any roms that I can do both? Magisk hide doesn't do the trick either
I am with Havoc OS & extreme kernel (without any tweaks) in my poco with ~250K antutu score but just using Evalution profile in thermal profile changer app gives a boost to antutu score which is around 295K.
But sorry this is not the answer you are expecting.
As I'm thinking to buy poco F1?
How is the performance of the phone in games ?
Pubg ?
Is that worthy buying it?
Hey!
Actually, for PUBG I read that poco f1 is a killer. Some people reported great sot. You can make up to 4 hours gameplay without a phone to get hot or so. The phone has a good processor so u won't suffer from lag or something. I never used it but this is what I read from people who use it.
Suggest me some good custom roms?

Custom rom? Meh, try miui eu + extremekernel, best for gaming.
I'm on LineageOS + FrancoKernel
FK kernel manager (a paid app) has per app perfomance profile settings and there is a thermal profile named Pubg built in. I keep everything at max and Pubg thermal and can play without lags.
its great for pubg, i use smooth with extreme fps , and colorfull its looks really nice .
im using miui eu 10.3.4.0 stable
Hey heroes of XDA!
I have a question, since watching a video from youtube, making a DIY gaming phone, he used a Mi 9, since the Mi 9 and Mi 9T Pro/K20 Pro has the same CPU and GPU, i wondered if i can overclock it too the same way he did, but since he rooted the phone to overclock it, i have doubts, if i root, overclock it to my heart´s desires, and unroot, does it keep the overclocked values? or does it reset?
here is the link for the youtube video where i saw the idea, and in minute 3:24 he shows how to overclock the CPU, GPU and the display (i know how to overclock)
im actually copying the idea he had, but instead of a Mi 9, im using a Mi 9T Pro/K20 Pro since i already have the device in perfect condition, i know how to root it, but i had to unroot due to safetynet issues that was way out of my knowledge how to fix the problem, thats why im asking if i can unroot it after overclocking the CPU so i dont have to deal with the same issues i had before,
i dont want a custom kernel/firmware or whatever, i want the phone as stock as possible excluding the chip overclock, heat and battery life isnt an issue since im planning to cover the back with a thin layer of copper plate, with a custom phone case (cutting the middle of the case) and im buying the blackshark funcooler 2 pro to take care of the heat, and since i already have a 20k mAH battery pack, power isnt a problem for a whole day outside my house gaming with the phone...
i know this might be a foolish question for some of you, but i dont know, since i never tried rooting then overclocking, then unrooting..
thanks in advance and have a wonderful day/night!
WRONG FORUMS!! AND I DONT KNOW TO DELETE IT!, I ALREADY POSTED A NEW THREAD IN THE PROPER FORUMS OF K20 PRO, SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE!
