Is this true??
Windows 8 arm on g tablet?
Maybe, maybe not. Way too early to speculate on an OS that is not even at ReleaseCandidate yet.
For perspective:
1. We are still awaiting a new OTA update
2. Honeycomb is still in question
It's true that Microsoft is working on Windows 8 to have it running on the ARM based systems.
There is however no information that Windows 8 would ever run on the Gtablet (memory, storage, additional required hardware, system design, etc....could all be issues).

IE10 in Windows 8 (ARM), running on a Tegra 2 processor.
Hope to see this happen in the future. Would love to have Windows o/s on my tablet.
Speaking of Windows running on an Android tablet, I had a cheapy ZT-180 tablet that could boot into WinCe & the specs of this tablet were no where near the G-Tabs. Has anyone tried installing that on a G-Tab?
I am developing a new Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) app for interfacing with a standalone product. I am interested in using the new Intel Atom based Android tablets, but I cannot find if they support the Android BLE APIs. Are any of you aware of these Intel based tablets not supporting certain hardware interfaces (such as BLE)?
Thanks for the help!

A lot of these tablets are running 4.2 or earlier. BLE is only supported in 4.3 or later. I know that Dell has some
I have a K900 with an Intel Chip. I sincerely and in all honesty think it is capable of running Windows OS. And now since Windows below 9" is free, we can try to port it.
I am ready to learn how to do it on my own too. So, if you guys have any guides also, do let me know/share it with me.
Thanks!
Hi, the fact that Microsoft doesn't charge anymore for the OS on devices with screens of less than 9" doesn't mean that the OS will be available for every single device in the world... Your phone has an x86 architecture, but that's the only thing that it shares with the Windows compatible devices. Sorry to say this, but Microsoft will never release an open source OS.

Hi,
I have ARM based SBC such as Odroid XU4 and C4. I want to run desktop oriented Android OS in it. Came across OSes such as BlissOS and PrimeOS which give a desktop experience. But they are for x86. Are there any similar OS offered for ARM based boards such as Odroid?
I am looking for a full version of automotive os for Raspberry pi 4 (apart from that of snapp automotive).
Anyone can help.
