So I recently purchased an Amazfit GTS2 watch. I also have the samsung active 2 so I'm testing the functionality of this Amazfit compared to it.
I'm super new and have questions regarding the Zepp app it comes with. When I turn on notifications and receive them for say an email, it just shows as "app notification".... Is thay normal not to specify the specific app the message is coming from and be able to read it??
Also, Zepp is lacking in options so I'm wondering because it's android, are there other apps that perform better? Especially when it comes to allowing specific notification to permissions?
Also where can I download more watchfaces? The ones on the app are lacking.... Is this possible??
Can anyone offer me some help with the above... Please?

Hello,
I just received my Stratos English Version and was trying to sync my activity with Strava. The Accounts are linked into the Amazfit Watch App, but no sync happen. I tried with Walk, Run, nothing happen.
I also tried to pair MiFit App with Amazfit Watch, but also, nothing happen, it simply opens Amazfit Watch app and no pairing is happening.
I wanted this pair to be able to sync Steps with Apple health. I read that on the pace, the firmware needed to be Chinese ?

So I solved one of the 2 problems ..... I saw that my 2 IDs were different in Mi fit and amazfit, so I created account again this time with google sign in. I have the same account ID on both apps.
The sync to Strava is working, but I still cannot pair with Mifit ....
You will not be able to pair International version with MiFit. Only Chinese version pairs with MiFit, but it does not have Strava.
is there a way to extract and sync steps with apple health on the international version ?
I have my Pace synced with both MiFit and Amazfit international versions, I've used a Google account as well. You may need to activate apps listing to fire up "BLE connect" to show the QR code to pair without reseting the watch (unpairing in Amazfit app will reset the watch). Or, if doesn't work, install the Chinese version to pair watch, then remove, then go to international version again (may be complicated on iOS, I did this on Android).
when I put the chinese version of amazfit, it cannot read the QR Code .... it put always scan failed

There are apps and tutorials about it elsewhere, but basically you push an empty text file named "launcher_config.ini" to /sdcard/ on watch. You can also use a third party launcher as QuickLauncher as well, or any other method to open the app, of course.

I think it is different on the stratos, because I cannot see a sd card folder on the watch

But the main problem comes from the fact that I cannot scan the QR Code from the Chinese version of amazfit ....

Yes, I log in the International version with Google, in the chinese version I have a xiaomi Account with a different User ID.
I tried to reset the watch, delete the bluetooth profile in the phone.does not matter, always a pair error.
May be they have disabled the ability to pair an international watch with the chinese amazfit ?

I don't know, I have a Pace, but it worked. Try creating a new account for the CN version, sometimes it lets it pair again.

on IOS to switch to China version of the Amazfit software, you simply have to switch Region of the iPhone

To Scan the QR Code I had to dowload the Chineese version App on Store. QR code was not detected with the EN/EU version App.

I bought Amazfit GTR 42mm few days ago. I'am unable to find way, how to receive notifications from Google Pay after i do some payment. Notifications from any other aplications/SMS are working. I have Google Pay(and also Revolut) in list of application, which should be notify. In Google Pay I have Revolut virtual card as my payment card.
In Revolut I receive some notification to watch, for example if someone send me money, but no notification after I paid for something. I want at least one notification about my payment from Google Pay or from Revolut(on phone are both shown) to be shown on my watches. Unable to figure out how to achieve that... ???
I tried original Amazfit app, AeX mod, MiFit. From apps witch is need to be buy: Notify & Fitness for Amazfit and Tools & Amazfit.
No success to receive notifications to my watch. I tried many settings combination without success. I have two notifications on phone - one from Google Pay and second from Revolut after I pay for something by Google Pay. For me is strange, that I'am able to receive any other notifications like from other apps, from SMS about calls... as I mentioned, I was trying to setup this on many SW combinations/settings, strange...

I figure out, how to make Google Pay notification working - main problem is, that notifications from Google Pay are from com.google.android.gms (Google Play Services), not from com.google.android.apps.walletnfcrel (Google Play) itself.
After I add com.google.android.gms to apps to be notified , notification after contact-less payment through Google Pay(with assigned Revolud card) are shown on my watches!!! Hurray \o/
Still facing strange behaviour with Revolut notifications.
Working Revolut notifications (able to receive this to my Amazfit GTR)
- notification, when someone send me money
- notification about low level of money
Not Working Revolut notifications (unable to receive this to my Amazfit GTR)
- notification about payment, after pay through Google Pay by my Revolut Card (tested both scenarios 1) NFC phone way 2) by Revolut physical card)
So, have someone a solution to receive Revolut notifications after payment to Amazfit GTR? I will write also to Revolut support to ask them - because for me is strange, that some notifications for the same application I'am able to receive, but some notifications not :/
NEWS:
- I tried also fix this by upgrade my Amazfit GTR 42mm to beta FW v0.1.0.51 (Global version - hawkw), not help
- I guess, that problem will be on Revolut app side
- For debug is nice to use for example Notification History - Google play link
BONUS:
- based on my experience the best app for Amazfit GTR with proper working notification is "Notify & Fitness for Amazfit" - Google play link
- in "Notify & Fitness for Amazfit" I can recommand to pair with key (without need to have Amazfit installed)
- also "Tools & Amazfit" working well for notification - Google play link
- any other apps don't bring any advantage to notifications(Amazfit, AeX, Mi Fit, Alert Bridge for Amazfit & Mi Band, Master for Amazfit... etc.) // if you known about other usable, just tell me
Yeah I have the same problem. It's happening on both my amazfit watch and my mi band. Tried mi fit and downgrading the firmware but unfortunately nothing fixed it, so i stopped using Revolut entirely.

Anyone can help? I think that the latin font firmware can display emoticons on the amazfit bip. But is it possible on amazfit bip on Chinese/English firmware?

It's possible, but you need to replace the default font by one that contains emoji, and an app that supports them. The stock Mi Fit / Amazfit app can't do it, so you gotta switch to an alternative app like Notify & Fitness for Amazfit or GadgetBridge.
For non-latin, this font works for me

I have a Reno 2Z (Global) with ColorOS 6.1. I have an Amazfit Bip and I'm using the MI Fit application. It is supposed to send some apps notifications to the band. This is not happening. I can confirm that Mi Fit:
1) Can not autostart. (Even when I allowed it with the "Auto-start" option)
2) Is allowed to show notifications.
3) Can show notifications in the lockscreen.
4) Is allowed to have no battery restrictions.
5) Can sync correctly with the band when I open it.
6) Can not receive notifications in the Amazfit bip even with the app open.
Anyone else having same problems? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Little Trick!
In order to receive more notifications than the 5 you set yourself, you have the option of loading the Blackberry Hub+ and the associated services from the PlayStore. You can manage many accounts there. works perfectlyfor me!

Isn't it just a notification 'watcher'? Those apps would still need to show notifications to appear in the Blackberry Hub+ inbox???

No, the hub accesses the accounts directly, not the system.
Is like your mail program that accesses your mail account.
Look on Screenshot, it is Not the Gmail icon at the top.
I can't see a way to configure WhatsApp for example - surely it requires me to approve access or hook it up somehow?
I must look and test it, the N is not my daily driver.

Most of the chat apps (WhatsApp, Line...) Have auto-start set by default (without being one of the 5 custom auto-start apps), and therefore notifications will show, and be 'captured' by the Blackberry Hub. But for example, I just added Google Chat, which DOESN'T have auto-start set, and it doesn't show in Blackberry Hub, because there are no notifications...
I'm not sure I like the solution or workaround of yet another app to deal with notifications that should be a standard solution, aka OS and base UI API, from Google AndroidOS itself.
I'm fully aware of BlackBerry and its history, yet how up to date is this BlackBerry Hub and what's the official word from BlackBerry update future updates? If nothing official this would be a temporary solution.
Is Oppo taking user feedback on all channels (aka official support forums, support email/phone, twitter, etc)? They already have a global 'Ambassador' program to help launch and sales of the Find N2 Flip.

CN ROM have limitations because Chinese app developers are garbage that stuffs apps full of offer notifications auto start and push for more monetization.. if u seen the china app market, it's 90% junk apps there that ask for every single permission possible to harvest ur data and sell openly to the big firms..
I tried this on my Find N2 (fold) no luck in getting other apps configured to receive notifications - the only one I could get to work was GMAIL..
Anyone else have any luck in getting other apps working using the Blackberry HUB such as Facebook etc?
