Lost imei - Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Questions & Answers

Hello.
I couldnt make call forwarding to work, so i thought it was modem.
I flashed modem and fsg and now there is no signal, no sim, no imei, only baseband.
I installed custom rom and i got sim and signal, but still no imei.
I flashed efs backuped imei qcn file, still no result.
Now i reflashed original miui with miflash tool there is no sim, no signal, no imei only baseband.
What should i do, is my phone hard bricked? I cant use imei changer either because this phone is old and i already threw out the box that got imei numbers on it.

Update:
I can forward calls even if phone says there is no sim or network, but i cant use data, or call from the phone.

There were guides on miui forum but they closed it. I still hate xiaomi for closing forums.

[Q] SGS3 unlocked Only works with certain carriers after flashing!

After flashing and thinking my EFS was damaged it seems that my network carrier has locked my IMEI
I first flashed MIUI and it worked perfectly, then I flashed LiteStock Rom and I got trouble with modem, I restored EFS and installed a new modem and it worked.
But finally I installed a new rom and I had the sign "Not registered on network". I flashed lots of stock roms and restored EFS, checked my IMEI and SN were the right ones and kept having the same error.
I had another rom of a OMV carrier (Tuenti from Spain) and it worked perfectly.
The thing is that Tuenti uses the same network as my current carrier Movistar, so if the IMEI was locked it wouldn't work with tuenti either.
¿Does anybody know what happens to my Galaxy? ¿Could it be that my carrier locked my IMEI for flashing roms?
Please help, I don't know what to do, my phone works with any other carrier that it is not mine, tested lots of simcards and that is what happens, I also have a friend that had the same problem, he took the phone to a shop to unlock it and he couldn't use the phone because in the shop I think they unlocked it via root and galaxyunlock app.
Blocked IMEI by network is due to theft .
Reads more like wrong modem or CSC see faqs and guides .
Wow, thank you, I did not see any of that about galaxy S3.
Will try that solution!

[Q] GT-i9300 Connectivity issues with baseband

Hi guys,
This is my first thread and I've just recently began rooting and flashing roms etc.
I'm sorry if this is a duplicate thread but I searched the forum and found nothing. Here's the thing:
I have a Samsung GT-i9300 ( international version ) and after the first flash I lost my efs folder.
Which did not only mess up my IMEI. It messed up bluetooth, connectivity, wifi adress and the phone lost it's identity.
I took it to a " technician " who said he could fix it. He restored my imei, but the network wouldn't work. So he put another IMEI and voilá!
The phone had connectivity and worked perfectly. So he told me that my phone's imei was reported as stolen because the network wouldn't let it connect. ( and I have had this phone since it first came out of the box and I never reported such a thing. )
He then said the police would have to be involved to verify if i'm the owner so I just told him to put a new imei on.
When I picked up the phone it was working fine. Full connectivity. Then I flashed a rom and lost my efs folder again.
Luckily I had a backup of the imei, wifi, serial and bluetooth adresses. Which were sucessfully restored.
But still, no connectivity. So I googled it and finally found a solution! The problem is with the Baseband.Basically the phone lost it's baseband files, without which the phone cannot connect to the network, and when the " technician " restored my imei, he copied the whole EFS file from the dead phone. Which then replaced the missing files and the phone worked. So my IMEI wasn't blocked, my EFS file was corrupted and the baseband files were missing.
I used the Ariza patch. And voilá, the connectivity is back. But after being turned on for about an hour, the phone has a pop up which says it's not registered in the network and it must restart with a valid sim. And it's a no option pop up, you are indeed forced to restart your cell phone which is annoying because it shuts off at night and operations that take more than an hour are impossible.
But still, after 2 days, the ariza patch stopped working. The phone is in Emergency Calls only now and it doesn't detect the sim. But it's not blocked, it connects to the network.I read that you could flash the modem files to fix this aswell. So I downloaded the modem file for my phone, from my carrier ( VODAFONE PORTUGAL ), from one of the threads here. It didn't work.
Now, this is the question:
Is it possible that it didn't work because my new EFS file is from a phone based in the UK and my phone is from Portugal?
Can it be a sim software problem?
Also, is there any solution found other than the obvious which I've already exhausted ( flash stock rom, wipe cache, etc )
Thank you an Advance guys!

[Legal] Change IMEI

by a accident i deleted my EFS file etc. when i was flashing a custom firmware. Then my phone was working correctly except my GSM.
I searched all the internet and i couldn't find a way to take restore my efs. Than i went to a local telephone technical service in my town and he fixed my phone. But i didn't realise he didint use my original imei. I used the phone a several months then suddenly my phone's gsm didint work. So i controlled my imei and it was "004999010640000". And now i need to change my imei number to my original one. How can i do that? i tried "IMEI MAKER/MP0B_001 file method", "MtkDroidTools" and "MauiMETA 3G" and also some other programs. They worked but specially IMEI parts didnt work.
So i need your help. If its a illegal thing. Just PM me. I didint do anything illegal an i need my phone back.

IMEI is send over your carrier database, they check all IMEIs over network, your IMEI probably was banned because used IMEI number from someones lost or stolen phone

Jiayu S2 - No cell signal after flashing ROM

I have a Jiayu S2 double-SIM phone, running the most up to date official ROM (4.4.2).
This ROM had a couple of bugs (no GPS and no notifications to external devices such as smartwatches), so I wanted to check other available ROMs. Using the Flash Tool I have tried a couple of the ROMs in the needrom site (https://www.needrom.com/category/jiayu/s2-jiayu/). In particular, a couple of versions of the official ROM, another ROM known as Salamander, and an unofficial port of Cyanogenmod 12 (in which the camera was not working).
The issue is that, for some reason, at some point my phone has stopped getting phone signal. The SIMs ask for the PIN on startup, but there is no signal. I have reverted to the original ROM; plus done a factory reset, and I could still not get signal.
The APNs for both SIMs are fine. Then I have realised that the IMEI was empty. Luckily I had it written down, so I have installed Xposed and the Device IMEI Changer, with which I have been able to restore the IMEI. Now I can see the IMEI on the Settings - IMEI information, as well as with *#06#.
But still, now with the original ROM, and with the IMEI restored, I still cannot get phone signal. I have tried setting the phone to flight mode, restarting, selecting manually the network... When trying to manually select the network I can see several networks, but the phone will simply not connect to the one it should.
Any idea on why could it be that I cannot get phone signal? Thanks.
After trying everything, including restoring the IMEI with Xposed, I have finally managed to restore cell service by restoring the IMEI with this tool: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cryptotel.chamelephon

Flashing firmwares shouldn't change a IMEI you need to check and make sure what ever IMEI is on your device passes cert of check and or isn't blacklisted
If imei change to 00000 and can't connect to network, means u lost it. Hope u had backup EFS.
