Hello guys.
I got the S21 ultra but the problem is the screen never goes below 60 Hz, and as you guys see in the display checker screenshot its says that there's no support for 10 Hz as I also never saw it.
my variant is the CSC with MID code and 2100 CPU, if you guys can post here the same details to see if it's region-specific.
and another point to point, this screen should support HDR10+ right?

Hi! Guys
I have some weird problem. I have two of this device bought it from different shops. both RN3 pro 32 gig.
but when I check the hardware in antutu for one of these says:
CPU model: 6 Core ARMv8 Processor (VFPv4 NEON)
and for the other one says:
CPU model: Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 MSM8956
both have adreno 510 GPU
results of the first one was 66000 but the second one 76000!
also the Light sensor of the first one is from Liteon and the second one from Sensortek!
besides I see the color accuracy of the their screen is not the same both in same sattings
Please check your device if it's possible and help me out to understand why they have these differences! is it normal?
Not sure but it looks like you might have an mtk version and a snapdragon version
don't worry, it's the same processor.
first pic is the result of antutu not being able to verify exact cpu model cuz your device isnt online. however, what it reports corresponds to 650 anyways. try and go online, it'll show the real name. as far as benches go. heat, rom, usage could affect scores greatly. i wouldnt worry about it.
oh and as far as sensor goes, yeah, xiaomi made several rn3 "versions" with different fp/light/camera sensors. who knows what else was changed tbh. prolly cutting costs after pushing "higher quality" devices in the first batch and gaining some popularity for the device
Completely normal, nothing to worry about.
1. Dont rely on Antutu scores, they are inconsistent everytime. Both of your devices are original running on Snapdragon 650.
2. Xiaomi uses internal hardware from different manufacturers ranging from sensors, camera modules, RAM, display panels etc.
3. Same as above, both devices have display panels from varying OEMs calibrated differently.
thanQ all. Now I'm relieved
I have another issue that I don't understand! in recent apps, one of the phones shows the recent apps with the apps last image, but one of them shows the apps with just its icons! although both are running with 7.3.7 global stable! is it a hidden setting or something about it?!
double finger zoom in/out if i remember correctly
Most manufacturers use parts from different suppliers, like xiaomi. None of it is better or worse than each other. The display seems different because SHARP panel is "cooler" and BOE panel is "warmer". That's just how the manufacturers of the displays calibrated them.
Hello xda members.
I have a problem with the phone battery, I installed GSam labs and Wakelock Detector and I found some amazing stats there I haven't seen.
The device is manufactured on China from Sumvier, the phone is Sumvier P50.
It is not rooted, the bootloader is locked, it has Marshmallow and the Android on top is Stock except some applications from the retailer here in Greece.
I found that the device is waking up too much times when the wifi is enabled, and when its not under system battery stats says it is enabled. I did discharge a day on sleep mode with wifi off and a day with wifi on. The screen was barely 5 minutes enabled. I took a logcat from the device with wifi on and I will attach it with some screenshots from the system and the 2 apps.
Can someone explain me how to fix this drain? I can add more information if you ask it, I'm newbie on doing questions and I don't really know what other information I could add.
Thank you in advance.

Hello Newbies/Experts/Hobbyists,
Recently I have acquired a Sharp Aquos xx 404SH made for the carrier Softbank. The specifications are as follows:
Model: 404SH
SIM-card amount: 1
Weight: 168 grams, Width: 79 mm
Height: 146 mm
Screen size: 5.7 inch, resolution: 1920x1080 (386 ppi)
CPU: Snapdragon 810, RAM: 3GB, ROM: 32GB
GPU: Andreno 430
Battery: 3000MAh
During the first days of usage, I had no problems with the phone until later on when I found out the problems with this phone:
- The lack of free memory from all the bloatwares that are built into the device.
- The OEM somehow had turned off 3 big Cortex A57 cores, making the device suffer in terms of performance.
- It has no (or so I thought) bootloader since I wasn't able to access to it (by using ADB or hardware keys).
After days spending time on the forums and videos online, I decided to ask for help in order to have it recognised by the community, as there are little to no support for this device even when it's considered fast for its days.
Going further into the "No bootloader" problem, I'm becoming more and more suspicious that the carrier (or the OEM) has managed to have the bootloader locked and make any kind of exposure to it impossible, let alone knowing that it's there., which means rooting this device is going to be a challenge. All I could see from the device regardless of when I tried to boot into the [fastboot] mode was: Sharp logo (powered by Android down the bottom) -> Aquos logo flashes for a few seconds and comes the Softbank logo -> OS. Going to the manufacturer's website revealed nothing much useful but several FAQs and drivers. No source code or guides whatsoever
I'm asking if there's any hope for this type of device and if there's anyone who is willing to help make this device recognised, because there are people like me who is owning or will own it and want to explore it further in the future and I also know that there have been attempts to request for this device, and also if there's anyway to root or unlock bootloader on this device it'd be helpful.
Thank you.
Very little people use this device, nobody cares about it. You could have bought a more popular device.

Hi guys,
I just gor my RN4 which was advertise as 4/64 Global with snap 625 cpu.
The fact is that Antutu says it's a mediateck cpu while Droid Hrrware info and CPU-Z say that it's a snap625 !
Also according to kimovil (where you may go by your own as I can't insert links), Global version are supposed to be equipped with a sony imx258 sensor while non global version with a samsung S5K3L8.
Mine came with a samsung sensor, but I've seen it happend a lot to RN4X, but did not hear that about RN4 global.
Do you have any recomendation to have a solid answer what my cpu is, and if I do have the 4G band of a global version.
Lastly any reliable plans to get a imx258 sensor from somewhere ?
Thank's in advance
J.
It literally says on the box if you have Mediatek or Snapdragon chip. What does it say on the box on the back, next to " Product Name / Product Model: Mobile Phone / XXXXXXXX", reply with the number.
Also according to kimovil (where you may go by your own as I can't insert links), Global version are supposed to be equipped with a sony imx258 sensor while non global version with a samsung S5K3L8.

Not true, it's 100% random between 3 camera sensors.
It's indeed all writtent on the box, global with snap 625 !
haha this is the lamest question ever !
I wonder why this dumb-ass of antutu said otherwise !
And for the sensor, I'm a bit frustrated not to get the sony, but I may feel happy not to get the omnivision, so glass half full

Most of the time benchmark and device info apps don't read info from the device, but read them from a server which has a library of device infos. So it could have been possible that antutu judged your device incorrectly. The most basic difference by which you can get your cpu type is by checking the number of cores. Mediatek Variant has 10 cores. While the Snapdragon one has 8.
yop that's also what I assumed, but that's lame...
Anyhow I could also very fy that I have a snapdragon cpu in the settings > about this phone > Cpu > octocore 2.0GHz.
waiting for 72 and I'll unlock it.
Thank's again guys
Hi everyone
I hope everyone is well.
I just saw a thread where someone overclocked the display of mi9 to 85Hz from 60.
I read somewhere that note 9 pro screen support 90hz but is on 60 as default. Can we overclock it by any means?
Regards
