Tab S7 plus stops charging at 75% - Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 / S7 Plus Questions & Answer

So as said in the title my tab s7 plus now stops at 75% charging.
That has happened now 2-3 times.
I think this started to happen after the recent update to android 11.
If I pull the cable and put it back in, it continues to charge till 100.
I have not activated the battery protection which stops at 85%
I have activated adaptive and slow charging.
Has anybody else noticed that and is there a way to fix this?
While typing this, the battery stopped charging again at 82%. I'm using the original charger and cable.
The device is 1 month old now.

There is a setting somewhere to preserve the battery and it does restrict charging to around the levels you mentioned. Sorry, but I don't know where it is just now!

Maxwest tab- 9100 not staying charged.

Hi, this is my first post here. I'm not sure if its in the right section but if it isn't can a mod please move it.
My Girlfriend picked up a tab sometime ago last year for convenience at school and light internet usage but as of recently it has developed a problem.
The battery drains very fast, within like 5 minutes after being unplugged from the charger. While on the charger it will reach 100% and stay there but as soon as its unplugged it starts dropping drastically. The model is a Maxwest Tab - 9100.
If anyone can shed any light on the matter it will be nice.
Thanks, Lyn.

[Q] Battery doesn't charge with working cable and port

Hello there people!
Basically this is my first post on here because it's actually the first time that I couldn't find a thread covering the same/similar problem that I'm experiencing...
Here's my issue:
I've got two batteries for my SGS 2, the standard 1650mAh battery and an extended 2000mAh battery (Official Samsung Extended Battery Kit), which I bought about half a year ago, when the stock one started giving me battery life of only few hours.
Yesterday, when my battery died I plugged it into my PC and booted the phone back up immediately without letting it charge even a little bit because I was in a hurry... Since I started using it right away the battery drained faster than it could charge and died within seconds with the screen flickering.
I knew I wasn't really being nice to the battery so I finally let it turned off to charge...
This was when I noticed that it wouldn't charge at all (no charging indicator), though it did seconds before when it was on.
So I tested different USB cables and sockets --> Not charging.
I replaced the battery with the old one that I haven't used in months --> Charging!
These results prove that the charger itself and the USB port of the phone do work and indicate that the issue is with the extended battery.
Now my question is: Can a battery just break so suddenly and if yes, is it fixable and how? I knew a battery can get weaker with age and become useless this way and that the most common reason for a battery to not charge at all are broken components (usb cable or port) but I never knew batteries could suddenly stop working.
Keep in mind the 'broken' battery is relatively new (5 months) in comparison to the old one which was in duty for 2+ years.
Another thought: Maybe it's a problem with the phone, 'not recognizing' the battery after it had its sudden death?
I hope my description was somewhat clear and thank you guys in advance for your help and suggestions!
P.S. Don't know if it's of any help here but I'm running a cm 10.2 nightly (Android 4.3.1)
Of course batteries can die like that after a few mths. Manufacturing process isn't always perfect, some of questionable quality will always get through QC. Fix a battery - You're kidding, right ?
I doubt you can get a replacement, most guarantees on phone batteries are 90 days in my experience, but you can certainly go back to the seller & try.

May be charging board is the issue?

[Q] Power Case While On doesnt charge my phone

I have a galaxy S6 Edge 128 GB and have been using for couple of weeks a powercase made for it.
Up to the last 4 days the powercase was working 100%.
Recently it doesn't charge the phone even if its connected to it and the lights are on , on the case and the phone shows that is charging.
Instead of increasing the percentages of the battery it does decrease them , and the phone gets very hot.
Any ideas about this issue?
After using the case it takes a while until normal cables start working and charge the phone.
Any help would be much appreciated .
Same thing happens with the usb cable on my desktop.Shows that is charging but it doesn't and the percentages of the battery get less.

Z3 Tablet Compact slow battery charging

Hey Forum,
So today I noticed, that my battery in the mentioned tablet wasn't charging so fast. I tried to charge with the Sony 2 pin charging connector, but it wasn't faster. I tried a wall charger and a usb charger too, same result. It has been charging for 4 hours now and it only charged 30%. What can I do? Also I'm new to this forum, so I'm sorry if this is not the right place for my problem.
(P.S.: The tablet is turned off, so it's not an app what causing this problem. Also it decharges faster than it charges when it's turned on.)
(P.S. 2: Now I turned on the tablet, and the battery app is showing some graphs. That is clearly visible when the battery started to decharge really fast the temperature was increased to 30 C. That is approx. 7 C above the average, but it think it an be explined by basic electronics. I really dont know :/)
Update: I restarted the tablet in safe mode, but it was not the solution. And the battery app says -21 mins until full charge when it's plugged in, but this nuber haven't canged (I used the tablet since the problem occurred, so I expected the number to change).
Depends on the charger. I use my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge's charger and my tablet tells me it's Rapidly Charging. I recalled using Sony's one before and it doesn't tell me it's doing the QuickCharging function.

Galaxy S9 Plus CDN variant recent wireless charging issues???

Dear XDA,
So this phone has been flawless for me, no issues what so ever, I could even get up to 7.5 hours sot on this phone, I have no problem running heavy apps like games, emulators, terminal, linux containers, 3D apps, benchmarks, etc, etc.
So the issue is with the Samsung OEM tabletop flat wireless chargers (this was released back when the S7 Edge and Note 7 were released). Recently I have noticed it will stop wireless charging (and flash the blue led on the charger itself) and won't charge my S9+ no matter how many times I replace it. It happens at certain percentages to (i.e it will charge fine to 80ish and then it would stop). For testing purposes last night I took the phone out of my Spigen Hybrid S case and turned it off and put it on the charger. It charged fine! The next morning I turned it on and did some notification checking and then before going to freshen up I put it back on the charger to top up. It would not charge past 98% at all. Same issues. I then just plugged it in and got back to 100%. Curious as to why this is, I took my old S7E and plopped it on the charger, its been charging fine. What could be the issue? This issue has only been popping up recently?
Edit: Seems to me the s7 edge did the same to, just checked and it stopped wireless charging around 92% percent. I noticed if I kept on replacing the phone, after some time it will continue charging but then stop again.
