Hi
I'm having hard time flashing the ROM of my Galaxy S9+.
I have a ROM 965fxxsefua1 and i would like to flash my phone with another rom (G965FXXSCFTK2 ) but i encounter the following error :
SW REV. CHECK FAILED(BOOTLOADER) DEVICE: 14, BINARY: 12
It seems that it's the bootloader and I need to change the CSC.
So I tried using #272*[IMEI]# to change it and I get the error "connection problem or invalid mmi code".
I googled this error and I saw it may be the multi sim but I have only one sim in my phone.
Does someone know what is the solution to change the CSC when one gets this error ?
Thank you in advance,

dont know is there anyone over here got the sgs2 from telecom nz or not
using androidmeda latest rom atm, but when i tried *#1234#, the csc shows unknown.
used csc select and it said already at the tnz
tried to manually put the csc files under the system folder, but still doesnt help.
anyone got any ideas?
not big problem, other things are working funtional, just this one quite anoying ==
cant post in the developer forum yet
any idea would be appreciated.
Dude a similar thing happened to me over here. Its possible that you have a mono-csc package and not a multi one.I had a mono-csc firmware (XWKF3-FOP) for Spain cos i didnt need the multi csc pack and when i flashed a custom ROM i got the same message as you.Thinking it was a faulty ROM i downloaded Villain and tried that but got the same message but this time when i went in to change the csc, just to see what would happen, selected FOP and then install but all i got was a message saying that it wasnt available unless there was at least 3 csc to choose from.So it seems that custom ROMs are unable to recognize anything below 3 so comes up as unknown.
Hi
I posted this problem in another thread, but most likely it wasn't the best place to do so. Hopefully posting it here, someone might have a better perspective and might have an answer...
I've read through the various posts in the forum, but I cannot seem to get a complete / definitve answer to my problem.
Phone: Galaxy S3
Original Firmware: Stock Vodafone Ireland (can't remember the exact version, but can trace it if required).
Phone originally was network locked, but unlocked with official key from Vodafone (no voodoo etc).
Description:
Downloaded Stock XXBLG8 from this forum.
Used a Win 7x32 with no Kies installed and with ODIN 3.04 flashed the phone.
No problems detected during flashing. When completed, did *#1234#
Found that phone had been updated correctly to AP:I9300XXBLG8.
Changed CSC to BTU.
Checked phone in download mode and firmware listed as "Official Samsung", no yellow triangle.
Checked in Kies and found that phone was upgradeable via Kies (got LH1 update via Kies).
Problem:
Since update, have a problem accessing MMI codes. The basic ones like *#06# or *#0000# and similar, work fine. Others (more complex) for example *#7465625#, do not work. Typing them produces an error "Connection error or invalid MMI code". I know these particular codes worked before flashing to XXBLG8.
Apart from this, the phone seems to be working perfectly well.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Any help gratefully accepted.
Having the same problem myself. I was Voodoo unlocked and got the unlock code from Vodafone IRE today but it won't work. Keep getting the same errors as you.
I was on stock XXBLG8 too, tried it with the original Vodafone firmware but still had problems. Would be interested if anyone had any more info about this.
They've probably been disabled by samsung. But they do work again on the latest JB leak.

Hi, I recently pruchased a Samsung Galasxy S6 Edge and bought a unlock code from eBay. When trying to enter USSD codes I get the same error everytime 'Connection Problem or Invalid MMI Code'.
I have looked online and tried the common fixes but no joy. Even trying to run a basic *#06# gives the same error. I have tried using a combination of + and , etc before the first digit and after the whole string but still get the same error.
Any ideas? It's driving me mad.
Cheers

With some carriers external codes wont work, so which network is the phone locked to? Contact whoever it is and get it unlocked that way.
Good luck
Hi Duncan, many thanks for your reply. I didn't realise that, I will contact Vodafone in that case. Many thanks.

I want to change csc code by dialling *#272*IMEI# but I get a message saying "connection problem or invalid MMI code" everytime.
I have a dual sim Samsung Galaxy A50 SM-A505FN.
Does anyone have a solution to this?
Hi,
Recently I have upgraded my S6 from android 6 to 7 and after the flashing was complete, I got an error message with DRK. So I run into Youtube for some solutions and at last I could fix that with flashing a Root file (https://shell.boxwares.com/Download.aspx?L=5772). It worked but ran into this SIM Card problem. It cannot detect the SIM and always says EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY. I did no back up for EFS. but my phone shows the IMIE and dialing *#0011# in the first steak IMIE says NG. Baseband is G920FXXU6ERF6. Before I was flashing the device the binary version was 5. So I tried binary 5 but did not work. So, I had to Flash binary 6.
What would be the solution for this? Please Help....
