Installed AUB8 update this morning and now phone overheats like crazy. Had battery drain issues on AUB3 update which was fixed in AUB6, but now with this update phone is heating up abnormally even when browsing the web or watching youtube. Anyone else has these same issues?

So I was using CM7 Stable and everything was running smooth until a couple of days ago, when I noticed the phone was getting hot, just sitting idle temps were about 100°F when usually it is about 15° cooler. I switched back to Nottachtrix and had the same issue. Through process of elimination, I realized that the only thing different in my apps and settings is that I had recently installed Fipboard.
I just uninstalled it and will monitor temps today to see if that was the cause, but I was wondering if anyone else has had the same experience.
Thanks.
Two hours later and temp is at 79°F. So for now I am staying with my flipboard theory.
Like the title says I recently updated to 5.0 on my galaxy s5 and besides the quirks of lollipop it has been fine. Except I did notice my battery life has been not what it used to be so I went into the battery view to look at what might be causing the drain and its snapchat. Snapchat was draining 21% of my battery life and I didn't even open it once today. Has anyone had something like this issue and might know how to resolve it?
A couple of days ago I updated my firmware to the latest official 32.1.A.1.163.
Since then the tablet becomes extremely hot, to the point of being uncomfortable to hold. I could understand this if I was using CPU intensive apps, but I am simply reading a book and that on low brightness.
Does anyone have a solution for these issues? Can the CPU be throttled on stock somehow?
Thanks
Michael
I haven't run into this issue. and I watch alot of movies and tv shows in the evening and a few games, stays totally cool.. might need to format and start fresh..
my phone never had any heating issues until one day when i kept my phone near my heated laptop. I got a notification that my phone's temperature was 52°c. Since then i am constantly having heating issues.. does anyone have any solution?
What kind of temperatures you get now, and when? Give some details man if you need help, we don't play guess games here.
I just got my new S21 yesterday. I've noticed at random times, it gets really hot. It doesn't seem to be when I'm doing anything specific. It has gotten hot when wireless charging, or when just sitting on my desk. Has anyone else had heat issues?

Get gsam battery app, and see which process is using a lot of CPU. Some apps are really crappy and hog cpu
