2021 Battery Thread - Galaxy Note 3 Accessories

Hello
Goodness knows how many of us are using the Note 3 as daily drivers.
I am trying to find a reliable, quality battery that ships to AUS/NZ.
My current battery is the one that came with the phone and was manufactured in Dec 2013 (very old one).
It was reasonable when I got given the phone in 2017, but now drops 50% an hour when using 4G and 100% brightness. I never noticed how bad it was until buying a mobile plan with good data allowances.
I am looking into the following:

Buy the Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9000 N9005 N9006 N9008... ( SEVOEM2477 ) online
pbtech.co.nz "Replacement Battery for Samsung Galaxy Note 3 N9000 N9005 N9006 N9008 N9009 B800BC B800BE
www.pbtech.co.nz
I only need the battery to see me to the end of the year max to wait for the mid-range phones of the year to release.
I'm running LOS 17.1 (android 10).
Any recommendations on my selections or others?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 2 price?

Hi everyone. I am looking to buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or the HTC One Max. I want to see how much the Galaxy Note 2 was when it came out last year. How much was it unlocked when it released last year? Also how much was the HTC One unlocked when it came out earlier this year. I just want to know so I can get a rough estimate.

How is the GPS in the BLU Vivo 5?

Hi. I am debating between the Huawei Honor 5X and the BLU Vivo 5. I am leaning towards the Vivo 5 because of the 32GB internal storage and the 3GB RAM (as compared to the 16GB and 2GB in the Honor 5X). Has anyone used the Vivo 5 enough to comment on the GPS? Does it lose the signal often, or can it hold on to the signal all the time the GPS is used? I had asked this question in the Honor 5X forum and have received replies that the Honor 5X has no problem holding on to the GPS signal at all. Did anyone face GPS issues with the Vivo 5? Thanks!
Gps blu vivo 5
I've had my VIVO 5 for a week and used Google maps for driving several times. I haven't had problem yet.
I was worried about the LTE signal of the 5 compared with the VIVO XL as it only has 3 of the LTE bands that ATT uses; but I haven't had any issues with that as well.
I like the storage, the build is solid and I've had several compliments from iPhone owners about the phone already.
Again, I've only had it a week so far but I really like. I came from a Samsung Galaxy S4, which had a ton of issues with the manufacturing of the phone and sim card errors and signal problems(and that was Samsung). I might have had a lemon as well to give credit to Samsung.
I would keep checking BB and Amazon but if you see it's in, buy it quick. I kept checking and one day I bought it and the next day it was gone again.
I think the Honor 5 has some better specs though from what I've read(minus the ROM).
I was in the same position, pulled the trigger on the Vivo 5, brought 3 of them. Im still pretty amazed by how light the device is, from the build, OS, to how fast it is out the box. GPS works excellent, I've been using it for two days now hard core. Haven't had any issues at all.
Hello, I've been using my new BLU VIVO 5 during the last 3 weeks and I have not found any problems, GPS works perfectly, no signal is cut or there are delays, the duration of the battery is approximately 1 day and a half, normal use , the charging time of the battery is super fast.
Excellent phone!
Yes the battery charges super fast!!
Answer to GPS Question
I have been using my vivo 5 for about 3 months now and the GPS is excellent. I have been using Google Maps to travel all over California and it has never let me down. This is an amazing phone, don't let the price fool you...I have owned Galaxy S3, S4, S5, and S7 Edge and this phone outperforms up to the S5 and is just as good as the S7 in my opinion. Personally I will never go back to $200+ phones as long as BLU keeps up with products of this quality and crazy cheap cost. I am still in shock...the phone just keeps impressing me everyday. Soon it will be the talk of the Cell Phone Industry...I don't see it staying this cheap once the word is out and the public has seen the proof. I'm actually going to purchase a couple more for gifts. Currently not many cases available, but I'm sure once they become popular...and they will, we will start to see more cases and accessories. Plus the phone comes unlocked! And I could go on and on, but the specs are enough to impress anyone. Been using the camera...beautiful pics...and the panorama option is so easy to use and the photos are amazing. Sorry to ramble, but this is my first response about my Vivo 5. Trust me, you will love this phone.

QUestion on Rooted EDGE

Hi, New to the Note Edge, had S4 then upgraded after 3.5 years to the NOTE 7 to then have to return it, and decided to buy a Note Edge for the next year plus. I have updated it to Marshmallow 6.0.1 and rooted and have activated the hotspot hack.
1)
After doing this and rebooting the phone i get a message stating my Su binary needs to be updated & the phone shuts off a lot. Not even rebooting, just goes black & have to pull the battery to reboot.
2) Was also wondering if anyone has purchased aftermarket batteries and had luck, ebay is cluttered with fakes or cheapies, Thanks
WarrenG
I'm currently using the iPosible brand Note Edge batteries seen here. It's a much better price now than it was when I purchased it. That said, most third-party batteries have a major flaw in that they lack the NFC panel that Samsung embeds into their batteries for this line of Galaxy phones. That said, the lack of NFC won't matter much since Google Pay and Samsung Pay will refuse to work when rooted.
Can't help you on the phone's bizarre behavior with root. I never experienced any of that when I was rooted.

buying the N3 pro SE at this time

I have had a Note 3 SE for a while and the screen got internally damaged, since I was told there isn't replacement panel for sale I need a new phone, is it still a good buy to get a new one, since the normal version isn't available and IDK how much progress was done on making custom Roms compatible, this is usually a problem for me but I'm not sure if there's another option in the same price points and specs... and I game a lot so the difference between the 650 and the lesser variations is big
what do you guys think
Very good development, better gaming performance than rn4. Best for the bucks. Go for it again.
*Just bought my kenzo 2 weeks ago

If custom roms are important for you, then it's a good choice. But if you want the best specs for the money, then there's a discount from time to time on gearbest for Zuk Z2. It gets then to around 180usd.
Sent from Note 3, Xiaomi Redmi Note 3.
If you can wait a little, the Note 4 SE is already in pre-sale and will be available on the 8th of March.
It features a Snapdragon 625 (a little slower than Note 3 SE but better battery life) and LTE band 20.
You can find it on Honorbuy for 205 Euro, it will be shipped from the warehouse in Italy, so no additional taxes if you life in the EU.
i bought it recently... but it's perfect. of course the 4x is better in battery life but it's a young device, no roms etc.
but hey it does have 20/25% more battery life.....

625 has weaker GPU, which doesn't set well with me...
