still have or not? i can fix
On a completely different device a while back I ran into a similar issue, after much troubleshooting I found the reason to be "encryption". Once I removed encryption the issue was resolved.
Maybe check to see if this applies to you and your device.

Reflash whole firmware via adb: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-e-2015/general/guide-restore-moto-e-2015-stock-firmware-t3044936
Pro tip: Never delete apps you don't know, just freeze em. :)

I have boost mobile lte
Reflashing your ROM should only be done as a last resort. You can hard brick your device if you don't do it right or use an incompatible ROM. I stress this with all Moto E surnia varients because not all ROMs are available yet. Trust me.
For force close issues, make sure you have a TWRP recovery installed. Boot into it.
Under Advanced, select Fix Permissions. Allow to fix, should take less than 20 seconds.
Reboot
Most of the time this will solve your problem.
Otherwise, you can always try to reinstall the system apps you think might have caused the issue.
If you're not rooted boot into stock recovery, wipe cache, and do a factory reset. Or you can try through the settings, but I don't know if that will work.

You probably forgot to block OTA, try bibikalka's unbricking method..http://forum.xda-developers.com/fire-hd/development/unbrick-fire-hd-6-7-flashing-lollipop-t3405797

Just do Factory reset which will wipe all data on your phone
Simple instructions

Before you do a factory reset, I would try to flash something like TWRP and then delete the keyguard files.
What kind of phone is it?

Sorry late reply
But what I would do in your situation is search around for TWRP for that device and a way to flash it.
Then I would use TWRP to browse the /system directory and delete the files associated with the key pattern.
Typically they'll be like:
Gatekeeper.password.key
gatekeeper.pattern.key
locksettings.db
locksettings.db-shm
locksettings.db-wal
Here's a guide that might help https://appuals.com/delete-android-security-pin/
Hey,
I have a HTC One s9u here that wont boot anymore after I factory reset the phone through the recovery menu.
The phone was running slow and would freeze now and then which is why I decided to preform the factory reset.
Now it just gets stuck on the white HTC screen. I have tried running factory reset again several times as well clearing the cache partition.
I have also tried every button combination there is with no success. I left the phone on this screen over night and it must have ran out of battery at some point as it was off in the morning.
After plugging it in and turning it on it once again was stuck on the same screen. I tried this as I read somewhere that removing the battery or letting it drain completely may fix this issue.
I thought about flashing a stock ROM but am not sure if I have the correct ROM. The s9 is not listed with the other stock ROMS on the official HTC site. I did find a thread on here where someone provided a ROM for the s9u which I have downloaded. However in download mode on my phone Radio is shown as UNKNOWN so I can't match the ROM exactly. Which is an issue because I'm located in Australia and I don't want to flash a ROM that wont work with the Australian mobile network. This phone was bought overseas as I don't think it was ever available in the Australian market.
This phone has not been rooted and has the stock recovery which is why I don't understand why a factory reset would cause it to get stuck during boot.
I will attach photos of the bootloader, download and recovery screens in case any of the info on these screens is useful.

(Sorry about the huge images and the fact they're sideways. Not sure why they have been rotated).
If anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this issue I would be very grateful.

So you want to flash LineageOS?
You need to unlock your bootloader which will factory data reset your device.
Since you get that error you should check your network (maybe trying with another, faster one) and if that doesn't help you should do what it says:
Sign out of your MI Account, then add it again and try again.
Perform a factory reset, then add your account again and try again.
As I said: You have to wipe your device no matter what, which means you could do a factory reset now if it's necessary.
