I need to do a factory reset to see if it fixes the current update issues. (Audio)
Is there a way to backup and restore all apps and data?

Hello,
I did a backup on samsung kies twise, after I had to reset factory settings
on my phone I tried to restore my backup. Everything came back exept my
contacts wich is the most important thing.
I tried to restore from both of the backups but it keeps failing and brings me back
only 75 of 300 contacts.
Please help this is very important to me
How should I backup my tablet data so I can restore it all and all of the apps when I get it back?
Also how should I wipe the device after?
As long as you have root, you should be able to use Titanium Backup and back all your apps
So I screwed up and lost the passphrase for TB encryption. I have a good working nandroid backup with all the apps+data that I would want to use for my next rom flash. The problem is when I go to TB and disable encryption on my good backup it doesnt allow me to restore the data when I flash a new rom. My question is is there a way to completely remove TB and all of it's app data so that I can start from scratch with TB in order to good unencrypted backups of my apps+data without completely formatting my sd card? Otherwise I'm stuck on my current rom setup.
Thanks!
Does anyone have an idea of what i can do?
i did the exact same think will update you if i find anything
Something that I've been curious about- if I decide to factory reset my device due to some issue/bug found in an update or something, would using the LG Backup tool to backup and then restore after the reset be safe?
I just don't know if the backup tool touches system data and if a restore would just bring back any non-app related issues?
factory reset does not format. You dont have to use Lg backup.
Hello everyone,
Can I ask how do I exclude all sensitive data when I perform nandroid backup of the system and data partition of my phone using the latest TWRP recovery v3.1.1-0?

Click to collapse
There really isn't a way... What I would do is backup system and data, then copy all data apps you want included to the sdcard. Then factory reset. (To remove sensitive info) Skip thru the setup wizard, enable unknown sources, then backdoor the apps. (Still with no google account tied to the phone)
Next make a new backup of system and data for whoever you're sharing this with...then restore your original backup so everything is back the way you had it.

If you plan on sharing it. Don't. Nandroid backups also back up stuff that is device dependent. Many devices have been bricked because they restored a Nandroid from another device. Even if it is the same model.
