For gaming, the best ROM I've experienced are LineageOS and EvolutionX (but not on this phone). But what really matters when gaming is the kernel. You better ask for the best custom kernels for gaming/battery life/... because kernels are what makes the ROM smooth, gaming oriented, battery life-oriented....

I've tried all kind of roms.I got better results from SE 8.5 Gaming by md maher & Lineageos ROM.I think you should try this

YAY for you!
Since it uses CM as a base and I don't see a "what's not working" section I guess it has the same "issues" as the latest CM build?
great to see some more development happening
many thanks for this probably will try this just still a little hesitant to unlock bootloader
edit: in sony download section i only find build for leo (z3)... do you have direct link for z3c?
i cant find download link either, i see only Leo (Z3)

First build ready at G+
ok
No issues here. ROM runs smooth and speedy. So far no bugs (although ill report any if ill find some). Thanks a lot for your work.
Edit: I was expecting the same issues with wireless and signal like in Cyanogenmod´s nightlies. But no! Everything is absolute OK. No issues, no hangings. Everything runs flawelessly. I even think that camera is better than CM´s/Mokee´s etc. Really GREAT job!

Can you briefly tell what aspect of the camera might be better? The noise? Or the fish-eye effect? ...or colors? Maybe you could upload one image... that would be great!
Thank you!

Hey David,
is there any way how to increasy camera quality (noise in photos are horrible - many, many black dots everywhere )? If not, id have to use Rectify ROM (once Mutant make it with DRM keys mod integrated). Anyway, i really love your ROM.
New build available .. Enjoy
Looks nice, but still I dont know what to do first. I have z3 compact with LB, so i have to unlock first and then what? does I have to root first and install recovery?

[ROM][6.0][UNOFFICIAL] OmniROM 6.0.1 for Huawei P8 Lite ALE-L21

Hi folks
I manage to port OmniROM 6.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow to our Huawei P8 Lite here some description for you
About OmniROM
The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Android (vs. iOS and every other mobile OS) has thrived on options as well as the gigantic, talented development community that has emerged to build those options. That’s the beauty of Android – that you can pick and choose from a smorgasbord of devices with varying features and functionality.
Code:
#include
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
Works:
Android system (it's very smooth and no fc)
Audio.
Boot.img .
Deep Sleep.
GPS.
Gralloc.
NFC.
Ramdisk: I make a mixed of stock emui 4.0 C432B589 and HiKey to get booted.
Sensors.
Not Work:
Bluetooth.
Calls (RIL): a fix is in progress.
Camera: fix is in progress.
Storage: will provide a fix very soon becuase it's related to ramdisk.
Wifi: a fix in progress.
Change Logs:

Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow R74

Note:
Pinning apps isn't work, I think it's an issue with overlays, so to unlock the phone you need to reboot, so I don't recommend this feature for now.
Deep Sleep: the patch is work, if the display isn't turned from first time don't be afraid you have to power many time the power button, it's a problem related to keyalyout.
Compatible devices:
G Play Mini
Honor 4c.
Huawei P8 Lite.
If the rom isn't flashed by giving error 7 just write your codename variant to add it in my device tree try to flash my own twrp on your variant https://basketbuild.com/devs/haky86/HuaweiP8Lite/Recoveries/TWRP.

Amazing work @haky

Am I the only one who his phone can be more than 1 min before automatically reboot?

Great to see a new developer on this thread and especially when this rom gave me 40k plus on antutu.Great port very fast and smooth.Wifi bluetooth hotspot and both sims working and that covers the main functions.Everything else great with me.If you need louder sound just install viper4 android.Sound mix is great and and for gaming no lag whatsoever. And of course rom is very stable with the Lineage base.Great work developer and if this rom is anything to judge you have great future and have put life back on the J5 2016 thread.Highly recommended.
I'll test this rom as soon as possible and give my feedback. I have a thing to say though. You need to link sources etc.

Thank you, thread updated!
Hi, this is really a great ROM, thanks man Flashed it on my J510FQ (+ gapps nano) with TWRP 3.2.3. First reboot ended with download mode. But I rebooted again & this time it worked and the ROM booted normally. I can easily say that this is the fastest and smoothest custom ROM I've tried so far. Everything seems to work perfect (except the known ones like VoLTE etc). No lags, crashes, unstability issues so far. Battery life is also perfect with respect to this performance. Charging seems to be fast but I am not %100 sure about that (ROM doesn't have the battery charging info). So this ROM seems to be (at least) like an official Samsung Oreo update with customizing add-ons. Thanks again, keep up the good work..

Reboot in download mode sometimes happens on some oreo ROMs first boot, it happened to me on RR oreo and LineageOS 15, i used LineageOS 15 as base to port this ROM so...
Hello! I look forward on flashing this ROM on my J510FN (Single SIM). This would be my first time flashing a Custom ROM into my phone and before that I have some questions... I will be glad if someone answers to them. Is this ROM compatible with my particular model (J510FN)? Will the camera take pictures as same as stock? Will my battery degrade it's health from not running the Stock ROM? And if i want to go back to Stock ROM through Odin will the phone work as same as before (excepting voided knox)?
If someone asks to my questions, Thank you very much!
@Francisco Funes

If you don't like it, reboot into recovery and type the following command:
adb shell (or use TWRP's terminal)
bash /data/param_restore.sh
reboot
Uploaded a prepared package to build your own boot picture
download
I would recommend to use microG (much faster experience) or open Gapps as soon they are available.

Than you can simply hit the thanks button and consider to spend me a coffee or a beer,
I'm doing this in my free time and it also costs a lot of money to buy hardware.

N5100 and N5110 will follow soon, I have to make the system smaller for them.
N5110 and n5100 builds are up .
Thanks, installed it and it is running smooth from the beginning. Not sure besides the nice UI tweaks, if there is for me a big benefit compared to regular lineageOS. Are you planning to get one of the ROMs for the GT-N5100 into the mainline of LineageOS or CRDroid? It is great to have so many options for this trustworthy device but one point in time I probably will settle on one development line. Thanks again

Hi,
I can't make them official because of missing ebpf and many other needed hacks.
Thanks, I was not aware of this pre-requisite. So we can even be more happy about such a well working ROM
Thank you for this ROM only one question before d/l it, BT Headset while voice call is working ?
For some reason none of your A12 based ROMs work for me, tablet (N5110) is always stuck on bootlogo. LineageOS 16/18.1 work fine. Any ideas? Maybe some logs from recovery would help?

Yes, and recent version of crDroid as well. Will try once more, just flashed RRR 5.8.5 to check if my device is okay and it is.

Excuse me, didn't notice the NEWEST build available. It works fine. But for some reason N5110 build asks for SIM-card on initial setup, is it okay? Sorry if it has been answered before I am a little bit stupid.

Yes, just skip this part for now, it won't be shown in future.
And the screen on time?
Are we coming out from beta yet? Or the question should be what are the differents between beta and final version?
Currently I'm using your lineage 16 final. Great works. Really appreciate it. Thank you

Not yet, final means that I will not work on this version, it reached it's final state from my side.
Hello! My device is 5100. Does anybody encounter a problem, when applications do not want to start, device just comes back to home screen. But after some time (many minutes or even hours) it may work normally.
The same situation was on Lineage 16.
Another problem - how to get write access to external SD?

Hi! Thanks for reply, you mean this module works exactly with Magisk 22.1? Cause I tried this module on my Magisk 23 now installed and it does not work.

Yes,I think Magisk 23 is not compatible with n5100
I installed 22.1 and it worked! But in version 23 I can't install any module.
