error.
usb-debbuging enabled, latest samsung driverrs installed, smart switch deactivatet and odin options: f.reset time + auto reboot
i want to keep my personal data, so i tried the home-csc
Ya if I remember right you can not downgrade. As you can not rollback the current bootloader..

I encountered a strange problem while using Mobile Odin Pro v.3.85 with 4.3 MK6
My phone : Samsung Galaxy S3
I usually use Mobile Odin Pro to flash firmware, i enable inject Root and SU so I wont lose Root and dont increase counter, staying all official.
Let me explain what I did.
I started from 4.1.2 all stock with root and MOP v 3.50 (mobile odin pro v 3.50). Downloaded MK6 firmware from thread in general s3 section and flashed using MOP with ever root: everything okay Im on 4.3. I tryied to open SuperSu and it says there isnt any SU binary with a message saying: "if you just updated to 4.3 install root manually". So i used CF Auto Root for S3 and installed it: once rebooted i couldnt find any SU icon in drawer, had to download latest from Play Store and I was rooted but with counters to "Unofficial" since I flashed with odin.
Now I reflashed 4.3 to avoid getting Unofficial Status: updated MOP to 3.85 latest, it auto downloads flash kernel, flashed 4.3 with everroot (I was already on 4.3 but with unofficial status). All I was hoping to achieve was a 4.3 rooted with MOP 3.85 and all counters to official. For past versions like 4.1.2 it worked!
MOP rebooted S3 and started flashing 4.3: at the end it was in a loop, it continued to flash 4.3 over and over.
Why I got that loop? It was an compatibility issue with 4.3 bootloader and MOP flash kernel?
Have I to downgrade bootloader to ICS first (like I had before)?
I had to go in download mode and flash 4.3 using pc odin, I was so scared! Now im on 4.3 without root but id like to have it with counters set to official.
Thank you, steebro.

Hi! Regarding your boot loop problem, may I suggest that after you flash with MOP, do go into recovery (cwm) and first do a wipe data / factory reset, followed by wipe cache partition. This will give you a fresh rom install. I may be wrong, but that is usually where the problem lies (not doing a wipe data / wipe cache after a fresh (official) ROM install. That's what I have read on countless forums. Hope it helps. Good luck!
Guys,
I update my bootloader and modem to 5.1.1 to install a new rom, I flashed via Odin and pass! But my phone got stucked in the S6 Edge screen on start.
I tryied to flash my nandroid but it was a 5.0.2 rom and I read that the bootloader 5.1.1 don´t downgrad to 5.0.2.
Resuming: The stock firmware 5.1.1 for my version G925I (ZTO) Brazil haven´t release yet.
The emergency recover from Smart Switch try to go back to 5.0.2, but fails in the process.
I tryied to flash an 5.1.1 version from Indian, and UK.
Sometimes pass in the Odin, but when my phone start, after the S6 Edge screen, appears a light blue screen and a Android and begin install. In the middle stops and show the message " Erasing" and the phone keeps rebooting.
Note: Sometimes the same firmware fails in the Odin, and I just flash again and Pass...
I have already tryied to remove the Hidden Img and flash. But goes to the same loop i´ve described.
My hope now is wait for the 5.1.1 for my version (ZTO) and try via Smart Switch or via Odin...
Anyone have any ideas? Thx :crying:

Here is a guide, if you did anything wrong with flashing bootloader + modem. Try it again and read every step carefully and BE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE RIGHT MODEM + BOOTLOADER! The models are just under the guide.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60112855&postcount=3
After that find a G925I 5.1.1. As long as it's the right model, it should work. Doesn't matter if it's for your own country.
You're seeing "Kernel not seandroid enforcing" or "Recovery not seandroid enforcing" on the top in red when trying to boot, right?
If so, this should fix it.

Thx man, but I fixed removing the Hidden.img, cm.bin and sboot.bin files in that were inside the .tar file and Flash! WORK!!! Now im with 5.1.1
Long Post: tried to include more details.
Phone: Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH 1545 16 GB
OS: Lollipop 5.0.1 up to date through OTA updates from Samsung with OF1 kernel build.
Device was Rooted recently
Wanted to upgrade to Marshmallow using latest CWM nightly, mainly to see how the use SD card as internal memory works. The phone's internal memory was running out and I could not move a lot of apps to the SD card.
Steps Done: Developer mode--> USB Debugging and Unkown sources install checked
1. Root using KingRoot and check root access using Root checker basic. Everything looked good.
2.Install ROM Manager, Flash CWM recovery for S4 I 545 and try to backup current ROM: Could not back up current ROM, android recovery loaded up in
3. Back up app data and transfer to SD card using Titanium backup
4. Rolled back to factory reset through android recovery and retried --> Still booted up in android recovery.
5. TWRP and Rashr and re-tried to flash recovery as well --> No Results
6 Decided to roll back firmware using ODIN using the following builds:
1. SCH-I545_MDK_562219_Stock_Restore This was 4.4.2
2. I545VRUGOC1_I545VZWGOC1_VZW: from samx This was one build older than the latest build with the OC1 kernel
Used the following versions of ODIN to try and re flash:
1. Odin3_v3.10.7
2. Odin307
3. Odin3v185
Same result with all of them:
<ID:0/005> NAND Write Start!!
<ID:0/005> FAIL!
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Now I have a device that I can no longer use and is stuck in ODIN mode
This is the error message that I see:
Software update failed: Your device did not update successfully. USe verizon software repair assistant on a computer.
Need help with to get S4 back to life and best way to install a custom recovery.
You can not use CM ROMs on this build or any CWM or SS (SafeStrap) we can ONLY use FF (FlashFire) which, unfortunately, very highly limits our choices of custom ROMs compatible for us!
Go here:
http://www.samsung.com/in/support/usefulsoftware/KIES/
Download Samsung Kies 3, install everything (application, drivers, etc.) and open it.
When it fully loads after opening click on Tools in the top menu then click on Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation.
Just follow the on screen instructions.
Try this to root after you restore from above steps:

READ!
...and, by what I can tell, the three custom ROMs listed there are all we have a choice of or just stay stock rooted, your choice.
Tell me what happens after.

Thanks AlphaTekk.
I got it working through an Odin reflash:
Run Odin 3.09 as administrator and with compatibility mode for XP SP 3
Use I545VRUGOF1 stock firmware from Sammobile
The end result showed as failed, but still the phone rebooted into stock OS.
Retaining stock OS without root for now.

I want to flash TWRP to install custom Rom to use two sim cards, but after flashing the TWRP it shows "Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The Integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data."
I tried to reset and reboot to flash DM Verify Disabler latest version "no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip" but still the same.
Hope you'll help me.

So i have a rooted KSA S22+ with android 12 with 4.1 UI
So today i download new Android 13 KSA version and Odin to upgrade from 12 to 13 with my user data
I used BL with BL File - AP with AP File - CP with CP File - CSC with CSC and i pressed Start from Odin it passed
After it was done so now the system is not loading it says Can't load android system either i wipe the data to factory reset which i don't want too please give me a solution that i have my data on the phone.
Thank You would really apricate thanks
i think CSC also rewrites user data so it got corrupted. usually skip CSC when flashing ROMs. It gives you features based on the location afaik.
