i think CSC also rewrites user data so it got corrupted. usually skip CSC when flashing ROMs. It gives you features based on the location afaik.

[Bootloop] Samsung J3110 Stock Rom

Hi I have a Samsung J3110, it's stuck in a bootloop state even after I re-flashed stock rom and wiping data and cache afterwards after flashing it the problem is more serious than you think. Do you guys have any suggestions? I personally think it's because I messed up the EFS folder because that's what I only did after rooting and nothing else I just purchased this device 2 weeks ago. I have the backup of the EFS folder though but I have no way to restore it since it's in infinite bootloop Just for your info: TWRP is available for my device. [The phone is loading the Samsung boot animation and after 10 seconds the spinning Samsung animation gets stuck and the phone reboots.] I can post video just request.

u can use samsung smart switch to reinstall stock rom.
i got this issue and solved with the above step.
try checking "nand erase all" and repartition also, you'll need .pit file for repartition
my opinion
you need use software called samfirm if your cel phone is samsung then you search for you original system or you can try binary system that is better to use with root . samsung has one software which save your imei number but if you didnt saved your imei when you install the firmware of samfirm(samsung) your imei is restored , you can use odin , after download your software samfirm will Decrypt the file , then you will 1 file zip , you will unzip it , after you will see 3 or 4 files , 1 AP ,CP, CSC ...and other...then you will charge the files on odin ,after all files charged then you will start all archives in the same time ..then it will install the system entirely and you phone will be new again ..and you can root after and install TWRP or your customed room ... but if your phone is not samsung I dont know how to do..hehe , J3110 new firmware AP : J3110ZCU1APK1 CP:J3110ZCU1APK1 CSC:J3110CHCAPK1 , Samfirm code to china system=CHC ,russian system SER . you can search for SM-J3110_1_20161208091928_1k4wn4b5lz_fac

[Q] Galaxy S7 Edge Firmware Update Problem

Good Evening
I own a galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935S) Korean version and I am running the stock firmware 7.0 G935SKSU1DQK1, latest firmware, unrooted and bootloader locked. I want to flash TWRP to install custom Rom to use two sim cards, but after flashing the TWRP it shows "Verification Failed, Unable to restart your device. The Integrity verification has failed. You need to reset your device to factory default settings. This will erase all your data."
I tried to reset and reboot to flash DM Verify Disabler latest version "no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0.zip" but still the same.
Hope you'll help me.
Thanks you in advance:crying::crying::crying::crying:

(SOLVED READ FURTHER DOWN IF WANT TO KNOW HOW I DONE IT) so i made this thread because i had a custom rom installed with hyper treble installed too so i wanted stock rom back but when i flash with odin it passes but when phone reboots it says no command then new screen comes up saying something about can not mount /system and i notice in twrp the system will not stay mounted any suggestions???
device is samsung galaxy s6 edge G925F it is also unlocked to any sim
thanks to whoever can help me (p.s. i am kinda a noob at this but have done research and cant find anything)
I have fixed the problem of system anc cache not mounting so I decided to find the pit file for my g925f and re-partitioned and flashed the pit file and stock firmware with odin (I went into option on odin and ticked re partition) and it worked perfectly I just went into stock recovery and wiped cache partition and factory reset and worked flawlessly
I got pit file from this site shout out to this site!!!

S9+ Stuck on logo after ODIN Firmware update + TWRP

I have used ODIN to load the AP, BL, CP and CSC BTU files from Sammobile (G965FXXU7CSK). I then flashed TWRP in the AP slot - all appeared to be successful. (twrp-3.3.1-0-star2lte.img.tar).
I then went straight into TWRP and flashed more files, the objective being to root the phone and not have any issues (obvs!). This may be where I went wrong, I was mixing a couple of old HOW-TOs...
In TWRP, I clicked "Keep Read Only".
I flashed:
no-verity-opt-encrypt-6.0-star.zip
G965_PIE_Root_for_OEM_issue_devices_V5.zip (with an older version of Magisk). (Dr Ketan)
Magisk-v20.3.zip
I have been through it twice, including a full wipe in TWRP before doing everything in ODIN again.
I can get into download mode or TWRP, but if I boot System, it just hangs on the Samsung logo.
I have a Titanium backup ready to put back.
My excuse is that I used to do this a lot in the past, but didn't at all for a year or so, and I may have forgotten something crucial I suspect I could do the whole ODIN thing again and boot, but without root, and I really want root.
EDIT: I needed to use ODIN first because I have been on a beta for WAY longer than I should have been, and wanted to get back to stock + root.
Any ideas please? Or is there a modern S9+ fresh firmware + magisk root tutorial that I have missed somewhere please?
I don't think u can root without format data. Choose the other option from "Keep Read Only".

Downgrade to Android 9 Stock

can someone help me? i have the sm-g965f dbt on stock android 10 and want to downgrade.
i downloaded the android 9 stock firmware from here.
when i try to flash with odin i get the
sw.rev. check(bootloader) device: 14 Binary 7
error.
usb-debbuging enabled, latest samsung driverrs installed, smart switch deactivatet and odin options: f.reset time + auto reboot
i want to keep my personal data, so i tried the home-csc
Ya if I remember right you can not downgrade. As you can not rollback the current bootloader..
