Updated to Android 11 - Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Questions & Answers

Hello,
i need your help.
I flashed the latest update for the Galaxy Tab S6 with android 11. I fully wiped everything and i want to root my device again. (was already rooted in Android 10)
TWRP has now a offical Recovery Support so i flashed this one instead of the unoffical one.
Worked well and booted directly into Recovery after flash.
I did the common things: format the /data partition, system’ partition is unmounted
Then i flashed the Encryption-disabler file first, then WETA_Kernel_T860-7.0_TF2 and then Magisk.
After that i rebooted my device, but somehow my device is stucking in a loop now.
Do i need any wipe?
Is android 11 the issue?
Is the WETA Kernel 7.0 not compaible with Android 11?
I dont know what i do wrong honestly. I did the same thing, when i updated to android 10 and everything there works
Any help is appreacited.
Thanks in Advance

[Q] Help: After Upgrade from Cyanogen 10.2 to 11 constantly booting into TWRP

Hi i kind of bricked my Mediapad 7 when tring to update Cyangen 10.2 to Cyangen 11. Need some help how to proceed.
First i booted into TWRP and tried to install the file
S7-301u V100R002C232B005 ICS Android 4.0.3 General Version.zip
to go back from Cyano 10.2 to stock rom 4.0.3. But this failed.
So i directly installed
cm-11-20140118-UNOFFICIAL-hws7300u.zip
Installation went OK. No, i didn't do a backup of the installed 10.2.
After reboot, the device is not booting but always going back to TWRP. What can i do?
What i tried in TWRP so far:
Reinstalling cm-11-20140118-UNOFFICIAL-hws7300u.zip
Reinstalling cm-10.1-20130526-UNOFFICIAL-hws7300u.zip
Wipe Cache
Factory Reset
Nothing helps. Always booting into TWRP v2.3.2.3 :crying:
Thanx for any help how to resolve this!
Forgot: During install of firmware there is a log-line:
E. Unknown File System: 'datamedia'
no slash between data and media
Solved
Solved it.
- Went back to stock recovery with "Auto_recovery_installer_for_huawei_mediapad"
- installed 4.0.3
- then installes cyanogen 11 with twrp

I had the problem of not being able to reinstall a stock rom as well.
How EXACTLY did you do it for the stock one?
I've also found out from a CM developer that stock roms can't be installed with the custom recoveries like TWRP or CWM.
Which is a nice thing to know since there doesn't seem to be any info on the forums about that.

TWRP Help. Android cannot load on reformatted Samsung Tab T110

Hello everyone.
I installed TWRP on my SM-T110. A year after I did a system erase using the android system. When the tab rebooted, TWRP loaded and that's when I remembered I installed TWRP. Now I cannot load android since I did not make a nandroidbackup. Can I still load stock samsung boot? And if yes, how?
Thank you in advance for all who can help. By the way, the tab cannot be recognized by my pc. When I plug it in, I only hear an error sound.
Installed TWRP v2.7.0.1

Why you decided to uninstall the system partition? The system partition is the rom of the device and the os of the device. If you don't flash any rom the same model as yours, it's going to continue being like that for ages.
Download the stock Rom for your device here and then install it on your sm-t110.
Hello Sir and thank you for taking the time to help.
I followed your instructions and this is mainly what I got:
----
Updating partition details
Kernel does not have support for reading SELinux contexts.
Skipping MD5 check: no MD5 file found
Error flashing zip
----
sorry I cannot include the screenshot as I am still not allowed to post links outside of the forum.
Your additional help will greatly be appreciated

Samsung Galaxy S2 I9100 Lineage os Flash problem with twrp 2.7.1.0

Hello i wanted to Flash Lineage Os on my s2 but ran into some problems. I came from omnirom with twrp 2.7.1.0 installed.
So the flash process hung itself up i tried again and it didnt work.
Well i suppose the bootloader is unlocked cause i flashed omnirom right.
Since i already deleted omnirom i cant check now with the dialpad.
So I thought about updating twrp but since its not after 2.8.4 i cant flash .img files.
I would prefer to flash it without heimdall cause i have only strangely configured computers available.
So I tried to flash twrp 3.0. 4 or something like this which I found as a zip file the installation runs just fine says it was successful but after rebooting to recovery it is 2.7 again.
I dont necessarily want to update twrp if i can flash lineage but i guess i have to?
Are there any recommendations for a lost soul.
All the best
Sorry for the false place for this maybe someone can move it to the right spaxe thx

Please follow one of the guides available, like this one, or the one in my signature.
You have to be aware that twrp 3 requires kernel isorec support, so you must have a kernel that supports isorec, and also you must have a 1GB system partition to be able to install any nogut or mm rom.
thank you so much managed to find this guide before you answered.
anyway thanks so much my s2 is running lineage smoothly and now we saved some piece of electronics of garbage to early the planet and me are thanking you so much for every one having the same problem as me go with philz touch recovery and then flash the twrp you want from there
all the best

Flash the stock firmware again. You can't flash stock recovery with root & xposed.
Flash your stock firmware again and it should be back. Or try to flash twrp again first and wipe data/cache then reboot

Coming from Oreo, cant install Nougat

Hey gentlemen,
so the case is. I was on Epic Rom (MIUI 10) and installed Cardinal-AOSP yesterday. I personally didnt liked it.
- Now i cant install Miui 9, 9.5 or 10 only Android 8 based system.
- Even tried installing one of my backups, but no luck here.
- Tried Masik, restart after 30-60 seconds of loading again.
- Flashed lazy-flasher also
My device has TWRP Exclusive 3.2.1-(5/7). What can cause the problems? Hope you can help me out with a solution.
Update: Managed to get Epic rom 8.7.6 almost working, now it says my data is encrypted and i have to reset the phone, and than boots into twrp.
maybe, just maybe ok? you have treble version of oreo rom. and you have to un-treble to use non-treble rom. just try it maybe can help you
Get this rom: https://sourceforge.net/projects/orangefox/files/mido/ (credits to this site:https://forum.xda-developers.com/re.../recovery-orangefox-recovery-project-t3775933) Download the R7 zip flash it and try again.
OKAY, after a day I got út Sáta was corrupted, and was in f2fs state. Had to change it to exFAT4 and then I could install EpicEom by Escobar, wiped everything then installed again. Works like a charm.
All done on TWRP-Exclusive.
