Your phone is in bootloop. You have to do a fresh clean install of the rom. Wipe data dalvik system and internal storage and reinstall rom. If still it doesn't work, redownload the rom
Hey,
it works great !!!
No problem observed, neither with the installation nor with the use.
Thank you very much for the job!
I've been having problems with Whatsapp, while the phone is locked it seems to close it. It doesn't receive any message until I open the app.

wait it got fixed after updating the modem. thanks for your work man. using this for 3 years now. i can trust you.
Hi! Im the only one having trouble with battery life? Ive been using Pixel Experience 10 with no problema till a week, that i updated to Pixel Experience 11.
Now battery life is very shorter, five minutes ago i had 85% now its on 64%
Before the update i can use the phone all day at work without charging it, now it dies a few hours later (i only listen music)
The same happened yesterday in a mountain hike, i put plane mode and battery saver on (like i always do), only using it to take photos, and started the hike with 100% battery, then 4 hours later the phone shutted down. Im a mountain guide and in that way i used the phone for even 6 days only taking photos without charging it, now it last less than 1, strange.
Thanks for your work!
Finally my Fav. Dev. with my Fav. Custom ROM PE. i'm on PE 10 plus will check this one out and give y'all feedback

Pixel Exp. 10, the latesteñ release, when i say it lasted 6 days i mean in plane mode, all you can put off, battery saver and only using it lightly to take photos, if you keep it on it uses less battery that shutting off and on every time you want to use it. And of course brightness at minimum
Dirty Flashed this AMAZING rom over my PE Plus Edition (10). worked like a charm. Reinstalled Magisk app since it was hidden under a different name so lost Root. D/L magisk , iflashed Maisk Zip, VOILA! i will monitor the battery for I had changed my battery not long ago and on PE 10 i had 24 hrs of battery while abusing my fone. I tried all other G5S Plus Sanders 11 Custom roms and all were very bad (all 3 of them). was waiting for Jorge to do it and he did. Fingers crossed everything goes smooth and no major glitches. 2nd step would b to clean flash the ROM if major problems occur. will report soon
I just installed version 11 on the moto g 5s plus, with this update the NFC does not work, the application "Sube Beta" in argentina

(After updating i format my phone.)
After update i find my phone get very hot while browsing internet,
what u think it consuming 200mb ram. same thing with chrome browser.
]
what u think ?
check ur phone.
it get very hot & consume more power. big problem with gaming. it get hang while playing survival-craft v1.7 .not in one time. many times.
i flash my phone with lollipop three times. but same problem.
to me its a very shame to Samsung update.
in kitkat everything work fine. that is why i am downgrade to 4.4.4
i also found that Samsung has some issue with Ram manage in lollipop update in other phone also.
http://www.sammobile.com/2015/06/20/the-ram-management-issue-on-the-galaxy-s6-and-s6-edge-might-be-a-feature/
Lollipop by design uses more ram... you are free to go to KK if you want, but it's hard for you to make valid points if in practice I see something else...
On my phone the biggest Ram consumer is Facebook with 126 Ram, fallowed by Settings with 88, Google services 79, facebook messenger 40 Mb, SHealth 36, then email 25... then a plethora of apps with less than 5 mb. Free Ram 600-700Mb.
To be frank, I disabled: Chrome, Gmail, Google Music, Books and all because I don't use them... Firefox is the favorite browser because it's fast and I also use it on the desktop.
Tell me you feel the phone is sluggish? If not why do you care, I see apps that I never started in RAM, but that is a good thing, there is no swapping, ideally you should have ZERE free ram with everything loaded up. If you have battery problems and phone gets hot then you have a rogue app that it's keeping the phone alive... try to find out what it is and uninstall it... simple as that!
Do you have a custom recovery installed? So you could try to wipe /system as well before flashing the firmware via odin, perhaps your phone saves some relicts in /system-partition that cause the problems...
Did you try factory reset after lollipop upgrade? I did it because I couldn't stand how sluggish it was, also ran hot. What a big difference! It's now fast and smooth. It does get hot when browsing but not nearly as hot or frequently. The Alpha is my best loved phone I ever own.
i Use those apps why should i disable them. i don't like white theme it consume more power compare to kitkat dark theme. i use to charge my phone 3 times a day in kitkat but in lollipop 4 times a day. do u know Samsung is going to update galaxy alpah to lollipop 5.1.1 in this year , i will try that lollipop 5.1.1 update . not 5.0.2 ever. its a very bad update .not stable as kitkat.
i do a factory reset after lollipop upgrade.nothing change . i flash France , United Arab Emirates & Malaysian region lollipop. all are same. i found France one is better compare to other two.but in France one my left soft key is not working.
Charging 4 times a day? Dude get a life... At those rates, I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter what app kills the battery... It's possible you already need a new battery... Li-Po batteries have a 300-500 charge cycle before they start degrading... Buy a new battery!
Maybe he's a gamer thats why he charge his phone 3 times a day hehe!

my phone battery life is ok. if i don't play with it it last more than a day.
why u buy smartphone? to keep it with u. or have some fun with it.
I think you've got my message wrong: 500 Cycles/ 3 charges a day = 166 days = 5.5 months. If your phone is more than 4 months old with aggressive use like yours, the battery already started losing it's max capacity, even if it seems to keep a good charge if unused 1 day.
If I don't use my phone it easily lasts 7-8 days!... (Keeping it on the night stand, I've did it once just as an experiment).
Now to get back on the subject that started this thread, Malaysian rom gets really really good battery usage for me, yesterday I've gone to sleep with more than 60% after a full day at work ( 8Am - 24 mostly phone calls and occasional Facebook check). It's easily the most use I've got with this phone, better than any KK rom, granted Battery saving mode was on during most of the day with grayscale screen. When I first bought this phone I was really angry as it's one of the crappiest phones around regarding battery life. It's the only phone where I can see my battery taking a -1% every time I read my emails. That is ****ed up!
It's not a good phone regarding battery life! Even with light use it's hard to get by after just one busy day at work, so I've started using battery saving mode as a workaround. I know it's not ideal, but it's a crappy phone, deal with it!
My old HTC ONE S got easily more screen on time with a 1650 Mah battery (same kind of amoled pentile crappy screen)... The Alpha is too powerful, too power hungry.
P.S.: Sorry if I've sent the wrong message... it was not my intention!
Lollipop is way smoother for me after upgrade. The battery life is also same if not better. I am using a Korean ROM for 850L though. I have Wifi On all day and get 3-3.5hrs SOT.
All I did was upgrade via Samsung Kies and its not even a full wipe.
After update to 5.0.2 (Israel) my phone also warming up when i using Chrome browser.
I personally don't think lollipop is worth the risks...since it is difficult to go back to 4.4.
Initially we heard Android L would improve Camera, have RAW Camera support and VoLTE....but not yet.
Since my Alpha is 99.9% bug free now ...I don't want to take the chance of 5.0 ...
That's why i like kk more than lollipop, i can't have this battery stat with lollipop

I'm switching back to KitKat. The battery drain sucks big time. I am going thru 2 batteries a day and no real new features that I can see...
Is there a way to go back without losing all my setup (apps, homepage setup, passwords, etc.) or do I just have to do a factory reset?

Factory reset is a must otherwise you'll end up bootloop but you can factory reset thru recovery but you'll loose all of your files.
Before downgrade back up all your files to computer and do a factory reset then use odin and downgrade.
But if same android version example 4.4.4 reflashing thru odin no need to factory reset or upgrade 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 no need factory reset.
Re-Flashed back to Kit Kat, much happier.
If I can just get rid of the stupid software update notification.
I ain't going back to Lollipop. What a waste.

Titanium back up then freeze!!!
Mine is SM-G850Y
I flashed back to KitKat because Lollipop update don't have "Embedded Secure Element" in NFC Settings
Which causes my Banking app's tap and pay function not working anymore.
warning - bricked sm-a500fu after downgrade to KK
Be warned:
I had rooted my 4.4.4 with kingroot, changed to SuperSU with supersume and unrooted with SuperSU. Then went back to stock (all official no Knox) with Odin (4.4.4 (A500FUXXU1AOB4_A500FUATO1AOB1_A500FUXXU1AOB4_HOME.tar.md5).
Then I went from stock to 5.0.2 (A500FUXXU1BOE6_A500FUATO1BOE1_A500FUXXU1BOE6_HOME.tar.md5) with Odin.
Actually after updating from 4.4.4 to 5.0.2 (with odin) the phone converted a lot of apps during startup - Did this also take minutes for you guys ?
All fine and phone quite fast, but no chance to root with Kingroot.
So I wanted back to 4.4.4 I used Odin again and flashed the 4.4.4 as written above. And then: BRICK. Please tell me and others what I possibly did wrong:

Hello all,
Moto E 2015 Surnia (XT1526) here. I've been on a stock 5.1 ROM for a while. Was bored and flashed a 6.0.1 ROM, set up, runs smooth as butter, etc.
One thing I noticed is GPS is VERY wonky. In a navigation app (waze) when driving, sometimes it has me off to the right, to the left, which makes it go off route if theres an exit and re route. Also when stopped, it turns 180 degrees, then back, making it re route. I thought it was the magnetic mount I had, lack of sky visibility, nope.. I re positioned with no luck.
I never thought it was coincidental, thought maybe my phone was broken or over heated.
Low and behold. Flashed back to a 5.1 ROM and no more issues, and rock solid GPS. My guess since there were never official 6.0 firmwares/drivers, being the issue.
Anyone have recommendations? Is there a ROM out there (6.0.1) that may specifically have a GPS fix? The main purpose for my Moto E is being a GPS. Or anyone using Waze on a Marshmallow ROM on XT1526 with no issues?
Thanks!

Weird. Moto E GPS (on any ROM ) has been fantastic for me -I routinely get 5m or better accuracy. Been on MM ROMs basically since I've had the device.
I'm currently running slim6 (build just before most recent ). Not currently using it as a daily driver, so the first pic below is from an ice cold gps start (zero use since clean flash, and no data connection for agps ). Took about 3 minutes to get a lock, stationary, inside my house with metal roof. Second shot is after turning data on for agps - a couple seconds to reestablish lock, maybe 30 seconds to that accuracy. Stale notifications still popping in from data being turned on.
Maybe try playing with gps toolbox app from play store to see if that helps? There's certainly nothing inherent in MM ROMs that breaks gps on this device.

I was actually the MM ROM is was on. I tried a CM based one and it works great now.
I thought for sure it was because our phone had no compass.

I'm fairly certain the only time compass gets used in nav apps is to determine (or try to determine ) what direction the user is facing when stationary - even on devices with a compass, gps track is used to determine that when in motion.
Glad it's working for you now.

Hey, guys. Here comes the good new.
Let me make it short:
My nexus 6p back to life with 8 functional cores after battery replacing.
Here's the full story:
I'm a nexus fan from China. About half year ago, my phone shut down unexpectedly, and can't even boot into recovery. All messages lead to one possibility: BOLD! After struggling for few days and searching resolution online, i bring my dear nexus 6p back to life with help from this thread:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6p/general/guide-fix-nexus-6p-bootloop-death-blod-t3640279
However, as you guys know, it's done by turning off 4 big cores, which results in a performance hit. After that, i've been using my phone for almost 6 months without any issue till recently turn to oneplus 6, which soon becomes my far phone
This weekend, my sister's phone dead and she asks me if my old nexus 6p is still working. The battery life is pretty bad so i was planning to replace a new battery before giving it to her. When i was replacing battery, the idea comes into my mind that maybe the four big cores cannot function because of wear battery. so i try an experiment by reflashing rom and kernel. Then, boom! it comes back to life with 8 cores.
Here's the details:
1. run into BOLD 6 months ago
2. bring back to life by disabling four 4 cores: flashing 4 cores version twrp, 4 cores boot img patch
3. keep functioning for 6 months without any issue, except a sever performance hit.
4. replace the battery 6 months later.
5. reflash 8 cores nitrogen 8.1 and elementalX 6.07, (didn't flash the 4 core patch zip from URL above)
6. successfully boot up but kernel editor shows that four big cores are off

}
7. try to turn 4 big cores on in kernel editor but not success.
8. download an Chinese app called "镧系统工具"(system tools),turn on 4 big cores.
9. 4 big cores back to life !!!
10. install xposed, reboot several times, 4 big cores keep functioning.
11. So far so good....
i can't guarantee that every phone can be brought back as i did. But i think this might help someone who don't want to give up his n6p.
If you do success, please let me know, and share your happiness with all nexus fans here.
Sorry for my poor English.
Have no idea how to insert image(screen shot).
hey every one
same issue i faced, my nexus 6p suddenly had BLOD, i managed to install the fix from Xda and it booted. after 8 month my phone started to shut down at 15%.
i replaced the battery and flashed a stock rom and it booted normal with full working 8 cores. so i figured out that the battery was making the boot loop.
now my Nexus 6p has twrp and cdriod rom with 8 cores.
Note:
In my country i didn't find a Nexus 6p battery in stock. i found huawei GR5 battery it was 3000ma. it was the same battery, same connector, same size and same connector flat position.
now my phone works perfect without any issue. the battery lasts for a day and a half with normal use.
Great, but I'd be too scared to kill off my phones with a BLOD. I have one of the 3600mah replacement batteries that reads 100% at 8months and another that says 103% capacity at 6 months use. I'm fastidious with accubattery and only charge to 80%. I'm not going to jump on to this just yet. I have a BLOD phone I couldn't get out of a bootloop no matter what. Heated it. Froze it, drained the battery to nearly nothing and nothing would get it out of the BLOD.
What it did do was allow me to "practice" with the tools on battery replacement so I could refine the technique before I tried it on my "good" phones. I've come to the conclusion that someone probably locked the bootloader with
a custom ROM on the phone. I've been told that will irretrievably kill a phone no matter what. Most newer custom ROM's won't let a person do that now. Kurt
Tried on mine but without any luck... Still BLOD after replacing the battery!

sorry to hear it didnt work out. mine worked after replacing the battery. and till now my phone is working perfect without any issue.
Guys, don't try this. That's not a permanent solution. Though my phone turn up with eight cores, it's really unstable, rebooting or freezing occasionally after keeping functional normally for few days, making it almost unusable, so I prefer to go back to 4 cores.
I'm really sorry for anyone who tried this without luck.

Ok, Thanks for the update. I believe it was a hardware problem in the first place that is not repairable. Still, the 6p is not so bad with 4 cores and if one can get one very cheap and don't mind messing with a
battery change and being fastidious with keeping to bootloader unlocked, it's still pretty decent. Kurt
I replaced my battery last week, phone kept freezing then boot looped like crazy. I figured the ROM was corrupted so I wiped and clean flashed. It worked for a day or two, then started to do it again. I replaced the battery and flashed new Pie Room, booted fine, but after a few hours It got very hot and killed the battery down from full to 25%. I'm thinking the real problem is my 4 Large Cores as I see that they say offline sometimes. I haven't applied the fix yet, not sure if it will play well with Pie. Anyone successful is 4 Core Pie?
nexus 6p
if i change my nexus 6p motherboard than will it work fine.i think its motherboard is faulty so it is on bootloop
can anybody suggest.i can get a used motherboard .should i go ahead

Looking for some response on this. @Aircraft800, did the BLOD patch work on pie? Which rom did you use and did you flash pie after using the BLOD patch prior to the pie ROM?

I replaced the battery and flashed new Pie Room, booted fine, but after a few hours It got very hot and killed the battery down from full to 25%. I'm thinking the real problem is my 4 Large Cores as I see that they say offline sometimes. I haven't applied the fix yet, not sure if it will play well with Pie. Anyone successful is 4 Core Pie?

When your phone heats up 4 cores are automatically disabled
After the 4 cores came back to working, how long did you battery last? and at percent did it shut down?
Is this true?

6. successfully boot up but kernel editor shows that four big cores are off
7. try to turn 4 big cores on in kernel editor but not success.
8. download an Chinese app called "镧系统工具"(system tools),turn on 4 big cores.
9. 4 big cores back to life !!!
10. install xposed, reboot several times, 4 big cores keep functioning.

Is this really true or just a joke?
A troublesome bug that causes the drain (discharge at high speed of the battery) of the MI8 is caused by the voice Mobile standby, in fact if you go in the battery settings, you will notice a high% of consumption of the item in question.
This is caused because, by default in the Xiaomi rom (China or global) is also the search for frequencies also Chinese, this involves an intensive use of the network module that continues in a way to find these Chinese frequencies, which of course in our country , just as all EU countries do not exist, leading to greater use of autonomy.
Xiaomi is already aware of the problem and will certainly be resolved, when it is not known.
In the meantime, you can solve the problem by yourself, as follows:
Enter the following USSD code *#*#4636#*#* in the dialer.
Set the LTE / WCDMA mode to both SIMs
In this way, only the European frequencies will be used, eliminating the battery drain.
You're welcome btw

It's also a pretty old bug, somebody else had the same idea 4 months ago:
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads...by-of-mi8-caused-by-td-scdma-searching.46054/
When you reboot the phone it returns to the old settings!
Done, let's see now.
Thanks for the info

On miui perfhaps yes.
I'm on Syberia and it stayed like that.
Well, not a big hassle, I mean I reboot my phone once a week.

Come on.. this is not s solution. We have spent a considerable amount of money to buy this beautiful phone. But Xiaomi releases updates with no sufficient testing prior launch and this is actually annoying.

I agree with you, I really do.
But even if you searched about the device you want to buy even for months before getting it you'll see there is absolutely no device existing without at least 2-3 issues out there.
Even pixels which are what android is and more than that, have problems.
You either bear with it, or stop using smartphones.
And the second option is not a viable choice for me.
P. S. Got a poco before the Mi 8 and refunded it because of the touch lag, I know that Xiaomi doesn't test enough, be it software or hardware.

I really respect what you say and most likely you are right but what now? You see I am using the phone professionally and battery is crucial for me.
Thanks for the advice. There is battery drain with V10.1.2.0. Cell standby. BTW, you can reach the menu by repeatedly tapping on "Internal Storage" in the "My device" settings. There are some "secret" links in settings.

If this bothers you that much then either flash a custom rom on it, or refund/sell the device and get something else, maybe an OP6T.
I ran a little test today to find out if other devices handle it better and it does appear to be so. Mido battery drain with LTE/WCDMA and LTE/TD-SCDMA/UMTS was exactly the same.

But the cell signal history wasn't...
Redmi Note 4X, Xiaomi.eu 9.5, 70km Highway drive with Waze and internet music stream running, fixed display brightness. Same route in both tests, just opposite directions - hence me flipping 2nd signal history in the following screenshot:
I ran a similiar test on my MI 8 a week ago and there were massive differences in battery drain and signal history...like I said I think MI 8 has a baseband issue that somehow can get amplified by the MIUI default network mode setting.
well i seen someone said that global beta 8.12.20 it is way better.anyone tried it around here?i was thinking of trying it myself actually...i think i'll do and came back with some feedback.
idk I've been on global beta since 10.0.3.0 global stable release and I've had all of these issues. It's possible that android 9 adaptive battery feature in beta 8.12.20 helps a bit.
Make sure non interactive scenes are disabled in settings \ battery \ scenes
I have the same problem, my drain was 40% in 8 h in standby mode. I flash my phone to miui 9 and then i update to miui 10 - 10.3.3 global, then i clean al my programs and i don't update sistem apps from Xiaomi. At last i turn off my phone and i charge up to 100%. Now my drain battery per night is 5-6% and last almost 2 days?. Good luck!
Hello! I just bought recently this beautifull phone, I adore everything about it, except - the battery. When I 1st turned it on, it found an update 3,2GB and I applied it, 12.5.5.0 Global. I wonder if I did a mistake, maybe MIUI 12 was better.
Batt drain is huge when idle, 10 or more % overnight.
Gsam app (with adb permissions) says screen and system() are the highest per consumption.
Should I install eu rom (which)?
Or maybe the 1st rom for this device V12.0.2.0.RKIMIXM ?
Give it some time to adjust when fresh. Disable auto brightness and read this https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/uninstall-bloatwares-no-root.4321387/

I'm on 12.5.5.0 and have no battery drain in idle.
Maybe you have to do some background settings.
Me neither, no problem. I'm just getting about 8 hrs of sot. Regular use and 60hz

That's amazing, I can't hit 5 hrs with 90hz, android system is draining a bunch of juice in my battery.
Same here. 4.5 hours of SOT over 24 hrs. Android System is the second most user (10%) after Screen (50%). Not sure why Android System is using so much.

10? My is using over 30%, sometimes climbs to 40... it's just insane
Was on 12.5.5 too and didnt think too much of it until I saw this post.
Was getting barely 3.5 hrs ending at around 12%. Running phone at 90hz
Sometimes I would just charge it mid-day to get some juice.
Had a tough time trying to downgrade to 12.0.2 but finally did and battery I think is alot better.

So, yeah... its 12.5.5 that's screwing our batteries up?
Oh I forgot to mention also that I did use xaomiADBFastboot tools to remove the unwanted bloatware like the services and apps. I did this on both firmwares.
While using stock i noticed a few things . Each update was using more battery. Remember two things.. we have a good processer with a medium to small battery in keeping with it's design so we shouldn't expect the same battery life as the other "thick" xiaomi models. Having said that . I flashed a custom rom and without gapps the phone can last 2 days using camera watching videos and with Bluetooth on listening to music .So if you want decent battery. Start by not updating..using miui is like using google x2 ...so xiaomeme and google are sucking juice with processes under "system" and it is also what's causing heating . Apart from not updating, you must debloat and also root to disable certain gapps and xiaomi processes you can't without root. Next you absolutely must go through all the apps permissions and disable auto start and background battery and data for stuff that are not essential when you're not using your phone. THIS SAVES A HUGE AMOUNT ..just killing backgrounding of google application will save you a few percent. So that's all, no secret sauce . Just kill all the unnecessary background data and battery and auto start or disable google gapps and xiaomi stuff you don't use . Obviously you can see from my post that to get great battery you need to run pure aosp or lineage gsi using gapps replacement like nanodroid and fake store . If you don't want to go that far ,use lineage with minimal gapps and tweak the apps permissions and backgrounding . You will solve heating and battery issues. The problem are the gapps and xiaomi applications getting updated with each incremental update. I have tested on benchmark applications that each update is a little lower in points ..not much but a little worse. So be careful of updating. Sometimes xiaomeme is not refining stuff before making changes to new releases. and you need to imagine just the miui theming on top of aosp is already gonna use battery and processor. So that's my experience with the battery.. Obviously our screen at max brightness will kill our small battery quick, so try to be conservative and use autobrightness . You must also select in cellphone network to use 5G battery saving option. So when you don't use the phone it drops to 4G or 3G to save battery cos with each incremental G the network or gsm and sim suck more battery juice .Try to remember how hard people got hit when we went from 3G to 4G. We had to increase battery sizes quick....
use this application with root to get "better battery stats" ...the name says it all
